I am currently in the last couple weeks of the fashion and beauty portion for the school and am still loving it. My teacher Ms Suzi has made the class amazing and without her I definitely would not have enjoyed it as much. Shes enthusiastic and passionate with everything she does and its truly inspiring. Thanks so much Ms Suzi and my class who is also amazing. :)

I graduated from the night time Beauty classes and the day time Special Effects Level 1. I absolutely loved the Special Effects course, Sir Paul was a great teacher. The beauty class was a lot of fun and I really grew throughout the course. I loved experimenting with different colors and mediums. Overall I enjoyed my time at the school and the people I met there.

I can honestly say attending RFMA was the best decision I could have ever made! They were extremely professional and had amazing staff! Everyday I would wake up excited to go to school, which never happens. The staff was always there to help you out with anything you need! They go above and beyond for you!

I started at Robert Fiance after not being in school for 2 years and was so incredibly scared and nervous. As soon I walked in I felt welcome and comfortable. I was going to go just for special fx but I decided to take beauty as well to apply to special fx and Im so happy I did. My teacher Miss Sherry is an absolutely wonderful person that works with each and every one of us to help us grow and learn. I now love doing beauty as well. I feel like Ive made friends for life, it feels like a family. I cant thank them enough for making me happy and helping me do what I love.

Ive been attending school at Robert Fiance for a little over a month now and I never would have thought that I would wake up each morning excited to go to school. Mrs Sherry is an amazing teacher and makes a fun learning enviornment for everyone!

I just graduated from RFMA April 18th and It was a bittersweet feeling. I couldnt have been more blessed to have had such an Amazing Very Talented Beautiful teacher Ms.Sherry! Her experience her patience her down to earth soul was awesome to give me the confidence i needed to be a Great Makeup Artist. I enjoyed my time at RFMA & I would do it all over again! I recently graduated from the Robert Fiance Makeup Academy on June 25, 2015. I could not have had a better experience there! I was already freelancing as a makeup artist and decided to take the Journeyman Package to further enhance my techniques/knowledge in Hairstyling, Beauty/Fashion, HD Airbrushing and Special FX. The teachers are amazing and are truly skilled at their professions, teaching you every facet of the makeup industry. By far, Ms. Sherrys Beauty/Fashion class was my favorite part of the course! She is one of the most skilled artists I have come across, aside from the fact that she is wonderfully friendly, funny, and genuinely cares about each and every one of her students. I highly recommend RFMA to any makeup artist looking to enhance their skills/techniques, as well as any aspiring makeup artists. You will gain so much knowledge from attending this school; I know I did!

I am currently enrolled at The Robert Fiance Makeup Academy in Perth Amboy, NJ for the Freelance Makeup Artist program starting Oct 15th 2013. The staff has been absolutely wonderful in assisting me choose the best program that suits my goals. I was blown away with all of the work shown on their website and brochures which depict how talented the artists and instructors are. I want to thank Sharon in admissions who I met with and explained each program in detail. I was also able to sit-in on a class so that I can get a first hand experience of what I would be learning. In addition, Urte was very diligent in enrolling me in the school and working with me on financial assistance. I was also issued a grant from the school which significantly helped with tuition costs. It has been a pleasure to be a part of the Robert Fiance Makeup Academy and Im looking forward to building a life long relationship with them.

I graduated from Robert Fiance Makeup Academy in July of 2012. I was enrolled in the Freelance Makeup Artist Program. This school has made my dreams come true. The whole staff is so inspiring and the school is filled with positive people and lots of creativity. Ms. Sherry, the instructor, taught me so much and continues to help me throughout my career. Everything I’ve learned in RFMA has helped me achieve my goals as a Makeup Artist. If I ever need help or have a question, they are always there to lend a hand. I decided to take the big leap and sign up for the full Journeyman program that includes both Beauty & Hairstyling, and Special FX. I would first like to say that the Admissions Director, Sharon, was the one who really made me feel comfortable with signing up with the school. She sat me down and really took the time to get to know my wants and goals for seeking a Make-up school and provided me with a lot of information on going about achieving those goals. She also pushed for an earlier start date despite my original financial dilemma. I am very thankful that both her and the School Manager, Paul Ferrara Jr., noticed my determination to attend, and worked out a fabulous personalized payment plan that catered to my specific needs.As far as the program went, I must say I am truly blessed to have a chance to be taught be Beatrice Sniper in Special FX! She was not only passionate about this craft, but gave 100% in demonstration and with motivating students even when a project looked challenging. Beatrice contacted my classmates and I even off the clock to suggest various resources for products, information, and advancement that could enhance the outcome of our projects and knowledge as Special Effects Artists. She always critiqued constructively and opened her eyes to even learning from us as a teacher. She truly holds a special place in my heart for bringing out the love I have for the FX world and I thank her dearly for that! If you are ever on the fence about taking her class, know that although you may feel iffy about the FX portion of the Art World or are intimidated by how hard it may look to engage, know that she will guide you all the way with absolute faith that you can pick it up! Art is Never Wrong was one of the many quotes she said that stuck with me and I look forward to the many creations I will make using the knowledge she has granted me with!I am currently in week 2 of the Beauty segment with Ms. Sherry. Let me say Ms. Sherry is very passionate as well about Beauty. She is highly credible, having worked in Runway, Television & Film, Retail, and Freelance. When teaching, she will never hold any tips back from her students, but instead shares all of her knowledge so her students have access to any and all information shes gathered over her years in the field. She opens herself to class discussion of products, color theory, and the rules and regulations of how to remain professional & reputable on set. Even when you may think you can not grasp the concept, she pushes you to keep trying and to practice until you perfect it! I am looking forward to the rest of the lesson plan that this program offers as well as the projects held on Fridays to place in our starting portfolio!Overall, I feel Robert Fiancé is a fantastic start to my career as a Make-up artist as far as giving me the tools and knowledge towards a successful career! I am happy I made the decision to attend and also plan to attend the cosmetology program where I have already been offered a $2000 scholarship *from the school* towards my funding because I have attended the Makeup Program! I would definitely recommend that anyone looking for a start in Makeup to contact Sharon and to visit the school for an informational session and viewing to see if it will fit your needs as a beginning or continuing artist looking for advancement in this competitive field! When graduating high school I didnt know where I should go or what I should do in the future. While hanging out with friends (graduates of rfma) they told me to go into the makeup field. I thought it was a great idea since I was doing some sweet 16 parties and prom makeup. When coming to the school to visit I was overwhelmed with how nice everyone was and how they loved makeup just as much as I did! Everyone there is so talented and made me just want to start class right away! The course I took was the journeyman course that had fashion/beauty, special fx, and hairstyling. I was really excited coming to school everyday wanting to learn something new and different that ive never done before. Everyone asks me for makeup tips, what brands to get, and how to use them since ive learned so much. Ms. Sherry, Ms. Urte, Ms. Sharon, and Ms. Beatrice are amazing and I love that all they want to talk about is makeup, try new products, and teach us to be the best makeup artist that we can be. They really have inspired me to become a makeup artist and I cant thank them enough. I try to come back as a model anytime I can and I would definitely recommend the school to everyone who wants to learn makeup, special fx, and hairstyling.

The talent coming out of this academy is unmatched. The first in NJ and the only one with a special effects program. A couple of their graduates auditioned for face/off. I am a professional hairstylist and I frequently call on RFMA graduates to assist me with makeup on editorial work in NYC. The educators here are among the best around. The academy has a retail store in front that sells brand name cosmetics including their own line. They also have really cute hair and makeup t-shirts. I highly recommend to both beginners and advanced artists and anyone who wants to increase their makeup skills for whatever your career goals are, film, tv, runway, editorial, its all taught here. This school has changed my life. When I was looking at a school for makeup I did some reasearch and found RFMA and once I took a tour I knew I needed to go there. Everyone is so down to earth and helpful and even though its just such a fun and laid back environment I learned SO much. I loved that the school has the fashion & beauty makeup and special fx makeup split into seperate courses so you can chose which class youre interested in if not both. Most schools dont have this. I opted to take just the fashion and beauty course but then loved the school so much that I ended up staying for the special fx course also. I have found family in ms sherry, ms urte, ms Sharon and sir Paul. They are so experienced and are the best teachers I have ever come across. I find myself continuously going back to visit because it is such a positive environment and I still keep in touch with the friends Ive made. You get out of this school what you put into it. You can walk away with your name on a peice of paper or you can really push yourself and walk away with strong connections and job opportunities, but thats only if you want it. I am living my dream working on film sets and with weddings and much more because of them being willing to help me. I recommend RFMA to anyone and everyone.

I have been attending Robert fiancé for 5 weeks now and and its a bitter sweet leaving ... Im having such an enjoyable time and ms. Sherry is an awesome teacher that I dont want the course to end!!!! I am a recent graduate of the Makeup Academy and I can honestly say I had a wonderful experience there. I took the Journeyman Program and learned so much.Ms. Sherry is a fantastic teacher! Her Knowledge and patience for her students really allows you to see that she wants all of us to succeed. She really takes the time to make sure everyone understands what they are learning and it is easy to see her passion of the makeup profession.Sir Paul is an interesting instructor as well. His ability to explain things through illustration allows special fx to become more understandable. The amount of information he packs into the special fx course is outstanding and I learned so much in such a short amout of time.Ms. Urte is a former student and now works there which should speak for itself how good of a school it is. She also does some amazing work and helps when and where she can.As for the rest of the staff, all a caring bunch and all have ties to the fashion, beauty, and most importantly makeup industry and really help you as much as they can.

After researching many schools in both NYC & NJ I was so pleased to have come across RFMA in Perth Amboy, NJ. Theyre close to public transportation, have a vast thorough curriculum, large spacious lighted classrooms, warm, friendly & knowledgeable staff & teachers. Coming to this school & taking the Certified Makeup Artistry Program has changed my life. I have learned so much and everyone has been so helpful. I am so sad to be leaving the school in just a few short weeks once I graduate. This is the first review I have ever given online & it is purely for the fact that I have gained a multitude of knowledge & results by attending this school, so if youre considering going to a MUA program, please add RFMA to the top of your list. I have even fell in love with their own brand of Paolo Cosmetics. There is so much opportunity that has come my way that would not have had I not attended RFMA. I owe so much to them. Thank you RFMA!!!
