Good selection of bargain boxed stuff. If you shop around you can find random deals. Most stuff is priced well. The fruit and vegetables could be better quality. The Santa Rosa location seems to have a bigger selection. Easy parking here and nice attendants. One of the last merry-go-around horsey thingies for kids I’ve seen in a long time! :)

This is one of the best Grocery Outlets I have ever been to. It has now become my primary grocery store. Plus it conveniently located close to the Petaluma downtown.

Certainly it is not a sophisticated shopping, but you can find some awesome products for a fraction of price. Like to hunt for European wines there and occasionally you can stumble on great chocolates or German rye bread. I hear different European languages pretty much each time I visit the store.

I love the unexpected discounts found amongst the usual grocery needs. I had a personal accident. I used the restroom for this. A woman who works there was very attentive with concern and willingly provided me a bag to help me finish my cleanup. So awesome to experience such care. A++!

The Petaluma Grocery Outlet is by far the largest and most well-stocked of the stores in the area... Well worth the drive! One of these days I will make it on a Wednesday afternoon to see Petaluma Pete playing piano

And I know from my own volunteering experience at local food banks that they do give support to the community in various ways. I visit the store often and find it a great place to shop.

Terrible customer service. I made a purchase and withdrew $50 with debit purchase. Manager said he did not have money in the drawer. Assume the woman behind me was my wife and asked her if she wanted to withdraw via debit... which was $50 also. Then he gave me a $100 dollar bill and refused to break it into smaller bills. Not sure if giving another person, even the spouse money for 2 peoples purchases is legal or not. This was terrible service and very lazy, I do not care attitude. Will never go back again.

Ive been going to grocery food outlet for 8 years. Safeway for a 100 dollars you get 1 or two bags of food and at grocery food outlets you get like 4 or 5. All and all I love this store. I always save more then I spend.

What used to be kind of a down-market remainders store has become amazing. Sure, theyve still got the products that failed to sell that you can pick up for a song, but theyve also got good prices on staples. If you arent too picky about brand names you can do all of your shopping here.

The employees are friendly, the prices are great, and the selection is generally good. The challenge with Grocery Outlet is you cant always get what you want and sometimes the products are near expiration or already expired, but the prices make up for it

This place is hit and miss, mostly hit. A large selection of affordable wine and beer. Cheese and luch meats are the best prices in Elk Grove. From cheap tide products to discounted seafood. Stop on by and save. These days we have to make every dolla, holla... Lol

Since Whole Foods Inc has been bought out by slave labor Amazon you will see plenty of natural and organic selections at grocery outlet.The inventory is always changing, grocery outlet has a good beer selection, good liquor section, and outstanding wine selection. If you live in petaluma and havnt been here yet you should really try shopping at grocery outlet.

Well i been coming to this location on & off for long as i can think back. But today i raced in to go to the bathroom im pregnant & just have to pee and this employee stoped me saying are you buying anything today i said to her im pregnant & have to go potty & then ill bye my stuff she said you dont have to make up stories just go to the bathroom i thought that was so disrespectful & unprofessional to say that to a customer all i can do is laugh just thought it was awkward 😑😕

They have such a variety, theres everything from organic soups to crackers and amazing ice cream. Everything is at such a low price.

Ok so if you like wine, and you drink a lot of it, you know it can be expensive. At grocery outlet, any wine that has a write up is uaully pretty darn good, and for the price, unbeatable. I am not a huge fan of shopping here for food. I dont eat a lot of processed stuff, but come her and fill up a box with wine and you will spend half of what you normally do and get some great bottles. Also, went here one to get food for camping, spent about 1/4 of what i normally do. Definitely a go to for that too.

Petaluma has the best music, live piano when I was there, and a great variety of groceries. Better produce than I remember seeing at the other stores.

Great Wine Prices

Though other stores in town have better meat/dairy, this place has best $$ in town for dry goods.

After years of shopping here I am sometimes still stunned at the prices they can offer. And their push into the organic market makes them my FIRST store on my errand run every week.
