I never got service in the jewelry department. I met the nicest man the had me laughing. He truly was Heaven sent.

Waited over 30 minutes for food and bread. The server was interested more in telling stories than you order. Wont be back

Always shop here. Found everything except one thing I was looking for. But I found on clearance for 1.00 each top and bottom all sizes men swimming shorts. They also had women maternity tops for 1.00 each. I didnt know anyone pregnant. You cant beat that deal. 👍.

The only Walmart Store that never have what Im looking for. I give them 2 stars just because because is 2 minutes away from me but I prefer to go at 12 minutes Wal-Mart from Colonial Heights has more variety.

Its one of the closest ones to me or else i wouldnt go. Never enough registers open. Even with self checkout, the one person who may be there to help people doesnt help so line is still so slow. Workers arent all that friendly.. Now granted most all Walmarts are this way. Went to OBX and the one there same way.

Sunday morning is the best time to shop. Before church lets out. Never crowded. Clean store. Helpful friendly staff. Well stocked. Great prices.

Some of the employees are awesome, others could be friendlier. I tend to have to dodge the staff picking orders for pick up. Theyll mow you down. I would guess management pressures them to pick faster than humanly possible.

Today I went in to receive my vaccinations with my girlfriend an was grateful to be helped by two special individuals, Ryan and tifany in the pharmacy department. If anyone needs help visiting Walmart please I recommend speaking with them and have a nice day

Im getting really really tired of the Walmart app telling me you have items in stock on clearance and once I get there Im told you dont have it. I came for a tablet regularly 50 on clearance for 25 . App says you have 6. Guess what.. shocker.. no one can find any. So all I want to know is, are the employees snagging them for themselves or is this just a good old fashioned bait and switch?Pharmacy people are super nice and helpful. Door greeters are as well.

The cashier refused to look up an item because it didn’t have a price tag on it! She was very rude and disrespectful. She went as far as mumbling under her breath not to “snatch” the bag from her. When she was told not to be lazy, she proceeded to yell at us. Definitely not the customer service we are use to in MS!

Both Petersburg and Colonial Heights Walmart are always awful. Not only is there a lack of staff on the registers at all time but their staff is also unfriendly unprofessional and very unwilling to help.. its like pulling teeth or bathing a feral cat to get some of these people to help you find something or get something out of a locked case. Its not my fault you work there or anyone elses for that matter..

People are so nice and unlike others, is well stocked.

It was a lot of people shopping. But most people were standing in the few lines that were open. Even the automated lines were half way to back of store in colonel heights. I was in the #22 spot in the fast lane. I joked with the guy in front of me thst i was glad i wasnt buying a case of frozen cheeseburgers or anything like that because by the time i got outside id have to eat them or throw them away. It says on box keep frozen but by the time I got home even in 1 of them freezer bags theyd be hot as they could be i guess theyre short on employees. Plus i walked by a couple employees on my way to front of store and i heard 1 say to the other that they didnt care they had things to do so they going home soon as they clock out. If anyone reads this and you need a job go get an application at Wal-Mart in colonel heights. Id stay away from Petersburg though. If you drop something its gone before you can turn around.

The workers are very rude! They talk and laugh behind your back. Its like they wake up in the morning just to antagonize people. If you dont want to be there...dont bother to come to work smh. Its alot of people who would love to have a job, especially the way the economy is right now smh.

Prices and products are excellent. Only drawbacks are long checkout lines with 4 out of 12 registers open and no self checkout available at the time.

Very little customers here at this location. The store was very clean and isles were clear. The employees were extremely friendly and polite even while they were restocking. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Ghetto shopping center where this aint my section is the only answer youll ever get, besides attitude, and their hands are broken so they can never answer a phone, either. God forbid you ask if something is in stock and expect them to actually check instead of guess.

The store seldom has anything. Its under stocked, and under staffed. Also, I understand checking receipts for large, high priced items, but they stop you for groceries. If they want to accuse me of theft, then they can stop me. Otherwise, Im not stopping. This isnt Costco, or Sams Club.

Walmart wasnt crowded but it seems like it with 4 registers and long lines. There were employees on the floor but none on the various checkouts and the registers were only taking cards not cash at the self checkouts.

Store is ok, the employees need to be trained. Especially the ones doing the check out reviews at the door. He never talked, or asked for my receipt just grunted.Very poor representation

Wal-Mart was not at its best this evening. First the store was only taking debit or credit card, no cash. The only registers opening was self check out. And the shelves were empty. Not a good time to be shopping at Wal-Mart. This was the Petersburg location. Otherwise I love this Wal-Mart because you can always find what you need.

Everything was in its correct place and fully stocked.

Went to pick up merchandise I ordered on line and once inside asked where to find it. First person told me the area and asked the next person and he retrieved the item quickly

Every Walmarts different. Small. Not much attitude. Great Selection. Wasnt tackled on the way.out for the Mikes Hard Lemonade I brought in. Friendly interaction with 1 employee. Cops in parking lot chit chatting. No mass shooters. Purchased pulled pork beanie weenies. Snickers pringles and Ramen cup o soup spicy shrimp. They call me Thr33Christ is Lord. You cant Beat M3

The CSM was wonderful. However the process of a return from online was horrible they would not accept an unopened item. They said the item was not theirs, yet you had two identical items on the shelf.

A grand Walmart in Petersburg va

It was pouring down rain and tornados were in the forecast so we decided to duck into Walmart for the night! Had every thing we needed right there!

Such a great difference when compared to other WalMart locations.

The Walmart on Crater Road is excellent. Its always clean and quiet. I can always find what I need and when I order my groceries online, I always get them in a timely fashion with no issues. Its always a great experience!!

Good selection of items actually great but the worst employees they like to hide name tags so dont know their name and act as if they dont you understand what you are saying. Thing fell off a shelf on a lady they stood and watched then turned their backs on her like they 1 did not see it and 2 hear thw lady yell. SMH

I just want to thank Michele in health and beauty for taking the time to help me with my daughter hair. She recommend products to help bring her hair back to life. She is amazing and even helped me find the best products to use there in the store! If the world had more Micheles in this place would be beautiful. Thank you so much. I really hope managements Recognizes what a wonderful associate they have in her!!

Nice set up friendly

A lot better than the trash packed, rude and uncaring employee(s), filthy parking lot Colonial Heights Wal Mart. They seem to care a lot more at this one, and the parking lot is not a complete cesspool. It gets four stars because the parking lot is not totally clear of trash and there are a few shopping carts in parking stalls.

Incredibly poor service. Half the registers were closed. One whole self check out section closed. Lines were amazing. Be aware this is not the first time, but, it is the last time for me. Many ordinary household items were out of stock.

Dont understand why always stocked items store brands are not always available.

The one-stop-shop is great just for that purpose. But it makes for a long trip, including checkout. And each storys layout is slightly different, which makes it sometimes difficult to find certain items. Shout out to Margie at this Petersburg location for her assistance, and then following up to ensure that I found my item. And always, for the overall value and the ability to get everything you need, you cant beat Walmart.

Wasnt to pleased today. The lines were very long, extending all the way into the womens clothing section and only two registers open. Sounded like some people were complaining and they finally opened a third register. Shouldnt have to wait for complaints. The supervisor of that area should have taken the initiative.

There was a sign displayed that Crazy Art crayons were .25 a box. When I got to checkout, they rang up as .64. The assistant manager went with me to view the sign. She said the sign should have been taken down and the price was.64. She said I could only purchase one box at the .25 price. Ive never heard of such a thing. I was upset and didnt purchase any of them. I had been buying them most of the summer for .25. I needed them for a Mission project to send to other countries. Other stores honor their posted signs.

Walmart in Petersburg was clean and fully stocked but only 2 registers were open.

Great store, clean and orderly, but the staff is trash. Got PULLED out line by the POLICE and was charged with shoplifting (18-2, tech. Concealment) because my son was drinking a chocolate milk that I hadnt had the chance to pay for, had to miss work to attend court for the charge.

They have been doing a great job keeping new item s stocked and reducing prices of older items.i love clearance

This is a big box store, enough said. Hard to find an associate, harder to find a knowledgeable associate, but they try.

Petersburg, VA Wal-Mart Money Center has been closed for months and today, 5/15/2021, I was told the money order machine is down!

Walmart has been judged on multiple things that has nothing at all to do with the business it self to be fair people need to learn how to judge things properly before scarring places or other people etc. Because someone owns something in whole or in part dont mean everything that individual does in life effects their business understand the term.seperate business from everyday life as well as.dont judge something done from anger or in any act at all against them or their job unless it involved their job sadly lies hold more weight then they should but most situations can be twisted to either party involved with the right words used evidently most time that dont even matter to the fullest it really hits me in a bad way that the world is so dishonest in whole if the people of the world were more respectful of each other an the world thats being drastically changed from hate an unnessisary actions of.dishonesty try dont.speak.unless u have something nice to say bet the world.would be peaceful then not toention quiet 🤐

Petersburg, Va. store fruit and vegetables section was great and clean. Picked up a few groceries there and of course, great prices.

I love this store. Unlike Colonies Heights - this store is well stocked and never over crowded. The people who work here are also friendly unlike Colonial Heights. Definite worth the little extra drive.

The in this store are usually friendly,I usually am not fond of going to Wal Mart, neither is my wife, especially since she had surgery on her knee. She doesnt mind going to the grocery store because even in very rural areas they have at least 4 motorized carts for disabled shoppers, when I went to the Wal Mart location on south crater road,I dropped my wife off at the door with her crutches and parked the car,by the time I got into the store she was still standing on her crutches in the entry way, there were no motorized carts available,I asked an employee if they were all being used, she said the store only has one. That is absolutely unbelievable! Walmart is a multi-billion dollar company! They are a grocery store and a department store and they only have one motorized cart! I have been to have lions all over the east coast and they always have at least 4 motorized carts and they are just a grocery store. I feel that that shows the amount of concern that Walmart has for its customers, very little. I very rarely go to Walmart, I think instead of rarely its going to be never, thanks for nothing Walmart!

Brought a battery with a 1 year warranty 10 months ago battery went bad and I took it back they told me the battery was not returnable it had no warranty and the computer they looked it up in to see about the warranty stated that I bout it less than a year ago but it wasnt edible for return it didnt have a warranty

Best time to shop is after 10pm its calm and peaceful and not the usual club Walmart.
