Adjusted my review to 4 vs. 5 because they did not announce (on IG or Google) they were going to be closed during regular business hoursInside is spacious, clean and organized.Espresso over ice was delicious.Iced hibiscus tea was probably the best iced hibiscus tea Ive had in a very long time. So good!I love that they sweeten in house syrups with stevia. I also really appreciate that in addition to their coffee offerings, they have a superb tea list.Service was friendly, courteous and prompt.Looking forward to trying other drinks!
I come here a few times a month and pretty much always order a double shot or a triple shot of espresso by itself. This is what I got today when I ordered a triple shot. I even asked the lady who made it if she made a mistake, but she said it was right. The liquid goes to where my thumb is on the outside of the cup.. I ordered a double shot 2 days ago and it had more in it than this. Disappointing.
Such a cute coffee shop. It’s just across from food trucks, a boutique and a clay painting shop. The baristas made a delightful cup of pecan latte and the crispness of the strawberry jam pastry was ‘chef’s kiss’. WiFi is free to log into to complete work or browse. They have goodies inside the store. Plenty of social distancing. Cute resin coasters with clean and dirty to help new guests and baristas see which tables are available to use. I’ll be back. ☺️
I absolutely LOVE West Pecan Coffee. When i want to go eat somewhere/get a drink/whatever, I value atmosphere just as much as the food/drinks. This place has a charming, chill, and minimalistic feel. There’s little plants and great out door seating is with little string lights. The perfect place to meet up with friends, study, relax. You can tell there’s lots of care and love put into this place
I dont drink coffee but if I did Id go here. I really enjoyed the vibe. There was patio seating, a random parking lot farmers market popped up in front of it and the coffee was amazing.
West Pecan is amazing! I love their drip coffee because it is sour :)
Hands down the best coffee shop in Pflugerville! The vibes are cozy and calm, and the baristas are super friendly. They frequently have game nights and happy hours, in addition to their seasonal drinks. Love love love!
This place is GREAT! If youre looking for a nice, chill spot to just hangout and work/study, then this is the perfect place for you! They have exotic teas, to coffees, even beer and wine! I was really impressed by the atmosphere and the customer service, and if youre Vegan this is also a great option because the have vegan food! Over all my experience here has been nothing but positive and I highly recommend coming here if you enjoy local places! 😁👍
Great spot to grab coffee over a meeting, catch up with friends, or complete work while enjoying a pastry. The coffee is consistently delicious and the staff are friendly. I cowork here at least 3-4x a month.
The best Cappuccino and chocletmilk ever....😉
This local place is doing a great job listening to feedback from customers and offering awesome food and drinks. The space is neat and great for working. And every employee Ive ever interacted with was super nice. Love it!
Such a neat place! Lots of different coffee and beer offerings. Reasonable pricing, staff very friendly
I love it here, it is the perfect environment for having deep conversations with loved ones or getting into the flow state and taking care of business. The energy is very fluid depending on how busy the place is but generally the low lighting creates an ambience that allows for relaxation, creativity and productivity. The staff members are always very friendly and welcoming and fun to talk to; the drinks served are also always pleasant and the teas come in generous servings! This place is definitely my go-to for meeting with people or getting work done on my own.
Cappuccino with almond milk? Check! Complete with beautiful design in foam.Plain coffee? Ok. But a bit bitter as if left too long (I take it black so I don’t get to have that covered up by cream or sugar)Great people. Nice environment. Plenty of seating. I’ll be back
The coffee tastes really good. They have large space inside, and they also have patio outdoor seating.
Love this place! Great outdoor seating, coffee was yummy but the cardamom cream turn-over was AMAZING. They also have the option to get your coffee in a glass instead of only plastic. Great local coffee shop that utilizes low waste options, 10/10.Would love to see you guys add some bike racks outside.
Prices are a little more than Starbucks. Sometimes its hard to get a seat, and afternoons are the best for peacefully hanging out with a great cup of brew. The baristas are cool. You dont get hassled to order quickly, or for hanging out for hours, which is the way a coffee shop should be. Wi-fi is decent. Could use more plugs for laptop charging. All things considered, a great place to go.
Very good coffee. Had a vanilla latte. If Im in area I will be back. Had a great environment! Was able to sit down and work on my laptop while sipping on my coffee. ☕
I’ve been thinking about trying this place since it opened and wow, I was truly taken away when I walk in, so beautiful decorated, clean, spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Great to grab some coffee or beer with a friend or just have some me time to do some work. Staff was friendly, good prices, parking is easy to get in and out. Love it!
If you are around Pflugerville down town and you need a good coffee, instead of searching for a Starbucks, try this place out. Very good coffee roast and individual charm.----------------------------------My star rating legend:Excellent / Exceptional ☆☆☆☆☆Very good / Special ☆☆☆☆Above-Average ☆☆☆Below-Average ☆☆Something is wrong!? ☆----------------------------------Please note, my star rating compares this place in general to other similar places and is not based on a one time subjective impression.
Very cute coffee house! The staff is always super friendly and they have lots of delicious options. They are quite social with poetry readings and other activities. Everything is always really clean and I enjoy working from there every once in awhile. Good quality beans, you dont have to add a bunch of stuff. Weve also been with our kids and gotten them lemonade and a strawberry coconut milk.
West Pecan is the recommended coffee shop in Pflugerville and weekdays are a great time to enjoy it! Youll get the same great coffee and attractive interior experience with original art, childrens play area, and board game library, but the weekends are very busy in this easy to find and centrally located coffee shop. We had lattes in the large white mugs. Great value and excellent service here in the Austin suburb of choice for those wanting to live on the outskirts of the Austin city sprawl.
Amazing spot in Pflugerville! What do you want? Beer? Coffee? Kombucha? Pastries? Remote working?... This is your spot, Pflugerville! Legit AF
I ordered two coffees. I told the male cashier that I wanted a pecan sunrise coffee that was advertised in the picture with leaf. The barista put the coffee in two to go cups not sure why. I wanted coffee in mugs because my friend had never had a latte with the leaf experience. I told her it was his first time here and she said “well I can pour it in a mug but it won’t have the leaf”. Her customer service was nonchalant and dismissive, when she simply could’ve made them again. Not to mention the coffee was not great. I paid for an experience and wasted my money.
Okay so West Pecan is generally good but after what happened today, I don’t think I’ll ever be passing by here again. Just shortly before 2PM, I came in to get an afternoon coffee and chose the Colombian pour over. The associate (I’ll choose not to say Barista because of the situation) tells me it’ll take a few minutes. I’m fine with that because the pour over uses whole beans on the spot and there’s more control over the flow rate. So when I go to the bathroom (2 minutes into the order), I notice there’s no setup for the pour over. However, when I come out (1 min later), apparently the pour over is done and he’s passing it to me. I noticed the drink is really, really hot, a usual attribute to if you’re getting drip coffees, whereas pour overs it’ll actually just be the right temperature for the tongue when done. The associate clearly did not do it and lied to my face that he did and therefore no acknowledgment of him being a “Barista”. True disappointment for this place after this instance. Would give 0 stars if I could for this nonsense.
Nice place for Pflugerville, but wish there was a place to lock up my bicycle. When I asked if they were going to add any options they said theyve thought about it but ultimately blamed the city. Seemed like a weak excuse, dont overthink it there are simple and cheap solutions that allow you to be more inclusive to your clientele.
Love me some West Pecan Coffee. The staff is super friendly. They follow all possible safety precautions. Most importantly, delicious coffee. I like the iced everything nice, then a glass of wine to wind down on a nice Sunday.
Nice cafe. I was strongly recommended this place by my friend. While the mocha I tried was decent, it was a bit too sweet, bumping down my enjoyment a bit.
They close too early, drive thru and dining room were closed at 3:00
Interesting latte flavor combinations and great house coffee. The online ordering was quick and easy. The order was ready ahead of schedule with great communication throughout. Looking forward to returning!
Very cute and clean with good service and ample amount of seating for a sunday morning! disappointed in my chai latte - didnt taste bad but tasted like i got chai in my milk instead of milk in my chai (aka heavier on the milk instead of the chai). ill give this place another try soon!
Great place, wifi needs some addressing. Please, fix. 😃
Super cute local coffee shop! Great coffee, variety of breakfast/quick food, and nice view of downtown.
I loved this place. The food and drinks were spot on. Will definitely go back.
Good place for students to study.
Delicious espresso drinks, wonderful atmosphere, spacious inside layout. Looks like a perfect place to work and equally as great to chat with friends.
High quality beers, tasty food, and firendly service.
The vibe of this place is so great! I love to come and meet friends here. I always get a baked good or meaty croissant with a vanilla latte. They never disappoint. Friendly service every time! Great product! Easy to bring friends here, elderly, or children! Parking can be tight, but if lot is full its easy to park along the street.
Great staff service and product.
Great cozy coffeehouse offering light food fare nestled in downtown Pflugerville. I had a hot chocolate and spinach + cheese croissant. Both were super yummy! Friendly staff, adequate parking, tidy restrooms, and even a kid-friendly nook with books & game table made this mom-to-be very happy. Awesome free wifi too!! Will definitely be back soon!
Cool place, but they refused to fill my coffee container even tho I sanitized it. Gave me a paper cup to throw away. Been trying to reduce reuse recycle ♻️
Great atmosphere, good drinks and food, entertaining crowd!
This is a fun coffee shop, its pretty quiet inside and easy to get some work done while enjoying a coffee. However, the ADA parking spot is impossible to pull into unless you have a very small car. People often park in two spots or park where there isnt a spot and make it hard to pull in from Pecan St.If youre visiting this place, plan on parking further away, or if you have ADA requirements, plan on having someone drop you off if your car is bigger than a Smart car.
Just drinking and doing work will go back and do it again great place
Great customer service and a beautifully designed interior. They have a nice system for making sure all the tables are cleaned before being used and making sure people are able to stay 6+ feet apart. The Cortado i got was burnt but still drinkable-ish.
Great coffee - their espresso is rich and smooth - comfortable, clean atmosphere, and friendly service!
Good tea and cool atmosphere
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The staff was friendly and was willing to have very engaging conversation about their menu. Lots of events are posted by the doors.I enjoyed my nitro cold brew. It didnt have that recycled beer keg flavor that often comes with nitros. The Pecan Sunrise was very neat. It was a bourbon pecan coffee. Loaded with flavor that hits you with an attack mid and finish you expect from a bourbon. They use oat milk, which gives it a thicker creaminess and pairs well with the hearty drink.
Amazing place! Fantastic drinks, great atmosphere, extremely clean, and nice staff. We’ll definitely be back often. Thank you for also having some Keto friendly food.
Listen, I love this place to its heart and soul. I heartily recommend the Pecan Sunrise latte special.Perfect little recess in downtown Pflugerville, away from the big box stores and everything that is the soulless Stonehill shopping center. West Pecan has made its mark selling *quality* beers and some dang-fine coffee. Put simply, this place is lightning in a bottle and perfectly executes, every time.Cant wait to see yall again.- Mohawk Punker Dude, aka Pecan Sunrise w/ Oat Milk Man
I had just left work. I was hungry, and was in the mood for a beer 🍻. Seeing as breakfast time generally isnt the optimal meal for fermented beverages, I cant say that hopes were high. Yet, they were able to facilitate both breakfast 🥣. And, a libation in the form of a Porter mixed with their house coffee ☕. 100% recommended.
Nice place to chill out or work. Great service.
Beautiful place inside and out. Currently there is indoor and outdoor seating. Had their tasty specialty drinks with house made syrups. Baristas were friendly and kind.
The web site has not been updated. They do not serve sandwiches and the like which are on the website menu. The things they have on the chalkboard menu at the shop, they were out of. My cappuccino wad good though.
Great little local coffee shop with a warm, cozy atmosphere. I enjoy their mocha & cold brew. Parking can sometimes be a pain, but its worth it.
Its a nice place.
Excellent coffee and food.
Very good food and excellent customer service.
I absolutely love West Pecan Coffee + Beer. The atmosphere here is just perfect. You can just come to relax, gather with friends, or even get a little work done in a comfortable space. I havent sampled everything on their menu, but I can say the desserts are amazing. I am also particularly fond of their hot cocoa on a cold evening, or their blueberry iced tea on a warm night.
Very expensive for a 8oz mocha and cost me for six bucks for damned mocha. Parking lots is very small and very crowded. If you’re parking your car in the middle of lane, then you’re probably get stuck and not able to get out of it.
Their pecan sunrise is the best. Thats perfections in a cup
Great coffee, nice place, and good customer service.
My dear companion and I were in the neighborhood and decided to check this place out. It made us sick, it was so Pflugerhip. The baristatender was a nice enough bloke, but he bungled the transaction so I had to swipe and swipe and swipe like some hipster on Tinder. I ended up with a Turmeric Latte because I just cant resist odd, awful-sounding things. It wasnt as bad as it sounds, but probably not something Id get again. My dear companion got a nice beer in a nice glass and we shared a blueberry scone that the baristatender offered to warm up for us before we even asked. We sat outside, away from most of the Pflugerhip, so in the end our experience was pretty good, I must say. I guess gentrification/colonization is not so bad when you are complicit in it and insist on looking the other way...You see, this place used to be a convenience store. Ryan and I used to stop here on our walks home from school to get Arizona teas. One day we found the front windows were all boarded up and the back of the store was all disheveled (read: dis-shelved). What had happened was a car done drove through the windows. I remember another time when Walid and I were in there, some guy asked Walid about the Arabic tattoo on his shoulder. Walid told him it said “Palestine,” and that was the end of the conversation. So many memories on that hallowed ground, but now the gentrificatory hipsters have moved in and occupied this territory—installed this “sweet” “chill” “hangout” “spot” in place of the belovèd convenience store that was a veritable institution in this town for time immemorial. That such a tragedy could be dressed up in such hip clothes is itself another tragedy. But tragedy is the way of the world, Im afraid, from Pflugerville to Palestine.
Great service. A variety of menu items from coffee, lattes, both ice and hot beverages, teas, wine, beer, pastries, and coffee shop food items.Quick service, nice layout and plenty of areas to study or surf the web on a laptop. Super cute set up. Looks out of a magazine. Urban modern industrial mixed decor. Clean and has a fresh look. Drinks are delicious and worth the price. Prices are reasonable and are similar to Starbucks.
Great coffee shop in town and beers on tap!
Great atmosphere! And thats the most important part of any coffee shop. And their drink selection is great as well. Coffee and beer, 2 of my favorite things.
GREAT Coffee, Fun atmosphere, superb staff! Definitely will be back!
Best place and service!
Great place to get stuff done and enjoy a beer!
