UPDATE: truth in review...when I asked about shipping costs, I was told that if I gave a 5-star rating that my delivery would be 50%...which of course I agreed to. Bobby loaded this website and gave himself a 5-star rating and I had to write a positive review, before a “coupon” would print to give me the discount. I feel pretty confident that this is why you see 5-stars across the board.That being said, I did receive a nice mattress for my guest bedroom with delivery in 2 days just in time for family to arrive Easter weekend.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS. Only shop here if you are prepared for buyers remorse. The selection is fine but the fine print could bite you. Yes S. can sell the ears off a pig. She is very personable. But the devil is in the details. Many mattress stores have specific return policies with various levels of customer satisfaction guarantees. But at this company the corporate rules could literally have you throwing your money away. Only after you have picked out what you believe is the perfect mattress do you find out that the return policy is mattress for mattress and that if you purchase a high end mattress and then need to downgrade (for any reason) you will have to eat the difference. We lost over $1200 in value when we found out our top of the line Stearns and Foster mattress was too soft. If you buy here go as low as you can and then if you upgrade you can pay the difference. But I am sure there wont be any deals to be made once they have you hooked! Seriously stay away. Two stars only because of selection but make sure you make the correct choice. If I could give 0 for customer satisfaction I would. Also I wish I could post on all of the Mattress One store accounts everywhere! I only gave this place five stars to get around their FILTER!

When we arrived yesterday at 7:20pm, 40 minutes before closing and with plenty of time to buy the mattress we needed, the store was closed. Lights were still on, OPEN sign still lit, but a lock was on the door and there were no cars in the lot. We were so disappointed. Even the signage on the door clearly stated that the closing time is 8pm. Mattress Firm in the same shopping center got our business instead.

Samantha was so amazing! I had no idea what kind of bed would be right for me and she was able to provide so much information and make suggestions based on my needs. She took me around the store and explained the differences between styles. She made sure I laid down on each one of them and didnt rush me at all. Im known to be a very indecisive person so I was actually thinking I was going to walk out empty handed! I am extremely happy that she was so patient with me and was very understanding when I was going back and forth on choosing the firmness for my mattress. I ended up getting an AMAZING bed and on top of that its getting delivered on Christmas Eve!!! She worked with me on the pricing and and added a few bells and whistles on top of that! I literally think my life is going to change when I get to sleep on my new bed and I cant wait! I highly recommend going to see Samantha for all your mattress needs. We dropped by, 17 minutes before they were set to close, Sunday evening to run in and try a certain mattress brand and leave, really quick. Wed never stay late to keep them passed closingAll lights were off and doors were closed. I wouldnt attempt going last minute and I likely wont attempt again. 😕

We looked for an adjustable mattress set for a week. But once we walked into this store, we knew this was the place, and with the best product!! Dont expect anything from this company. Not communication, not support, customer service and most importantly dont expect your product to be delivered. I ordered two beds on labor day with the delivery set for the following Wednesday. They didnt show up and there was no call. The delivery time was from 10am to 8 pm.okay one day lost. We called (20 different stores) because no one answers their phone, and they said that they didnt have our beds in stock. We reschedule d to have them delivered the following Wednesday... Again no show. Finally we got ahold of someone from corporate and they gave us $100 off... A week later the beds still arent here and the discount still didnt hit the account.... At that point a full refund was requested, because they said one of the beds was not in stock and it couldnt be delivered until Friday but even that wasnt a guarantee so most likely the 1st.... Are you serious?! Is this even a company at all? Do they have products in stock? This company is a joke. Dont even waste your time with them.

My mattress one experience has been a nightmare. Glenn is full of EMPTY promises. Ive been given 3 different delivery dates because they just cant get it together. Ive also now been charged for a mattress I still dont have after being told I wouldnt be. You want your five star rating Mr. I dont care about the mattress I care about the sell. Well here it is. So its hard to feel like he doesnt have one hand on your wallet the whole time. But he absolutely didnt pressure us to go over our budget and I feel like we ended with a good deal! I would highly recommend a different mattress store. This location and the corporate location with my experience was terrible at dealing with especially trying to get our mattresses delivered. It has been rescheduled with not one phone from the delivery side I had to initiate each time. While being placed on hold periods.The phone number for the location continues to say disconnected for this location also. Corporate when informed did not seem to care much about that either.

Updated review - don’t buy here, they continued to give us the runaround on a credit after sale which never showed up. Salesmen there (and I ended up dealing with three different ones) each all showed as if they would honor their promise of following through getting our credit and each just blew a lot of hot air. I would never go back in that store!

Ive never met such an aggressive sales person as Samantha, their district manager. My wife and I were blasted with words from the moment we pulled the door open (before we even set a foot inside). She gave us zero breathing room. She just kept pouring words over us, even after we stopped responding and just chilled out on a bed. We were clear up front that we only wanted to browse.She started raising the automated base, under the bed we were on, without any warning. A few minutes after she walked away, she started saying that we must be ready to purchase because we were smiling and chatting among ourselves, but we were actually formulating a plan of escape. We could have ran out while she was on the phone, but we felt that would be rude, so we didnt.There were two store managers there, in training, and their body language was straight out of an episode of The Office. Samantha was basically the Michael Scott of selling beds, that day. At first they looked at us from afar, like we were cornered gazelle. Later, they kept their gazes firmly buried in their phones while she tried to convince us to not even consider trying out the Purple mattresses at a competitors store.During her closing spiel (this is when the other employees would not even so much as glance at us like they knew all too well that we were 100% trying to get out of there and that they didnt want us roping them into such an uncomfortable exchange), I interjected to ask her for her business card. Her response was literally I dont have any because I dont need them. Youll be back in 5 minutes after you see how terrible they (the purple mattresses) are.I was blown away at how many things she flat out misrepresented. She stated that she doesnt sell memory foam mattresses (while trying to convince us to go with the Tempur-Pedic). She claimed that Purple is just hot memory foam because all the air gets trapped inside . She said that there is no comparison, even after we pointed how many articles stated that are both worth testing out.The sales staff at Mattress Firm didnt pressure us, they didnt smack-talk, or misrepresent the competitors products (everything they said was on par with the research we did). Mattress Firm even suggested we go try out the Tempur-Pedics before we made any decisions (they currently did not carry them, but would be in a few weeks).When she countered our comments about the consensus from reviewers, she had the nerve to tell us that her statements were facts plain and simple. These are facts, she said. She must get a lot of false reinforcement from the sales that she does makes, because her confidence with fibbing to us was impressive even for an aggressive salesperson.She used fear, pressure, and false facts to try and sway us into not thinking at all. I was pretty offended that she would treat a customer as if they are too stupid to shop around, or like she is so knowledgeable that we would be wasting our time to do anything besides take her advice. She tried to convince us that Purples get extremely hot and that Tempur-Pedics dont (despite the well known fact that Tempur-Pedics have cooling layers for a reason, because they are known to get hot, and Purples simply dont even have to bother with such features because they categorically dont get hot).Some of the other reviews have complained about being blind-sided, by their fine print on return policies, or being pressured into giving 5 star reviews (on the spot) in exchange for discounts on shipping... My wife and I gave her a fair shot to talk with us before we left and she just dug herself in deeper. It was a train wreck and we laughed about it later. If it wasnt so ineffective, I would have been genuinely irritated. If you compare the reviews on Yelp with the ones on Google, it really starts to paint an interesting picture.

Horrible experience. Went and purchased a mattress on 11/06 and found a better deal elsewhere so I went ahead and cancelled my order. It’s now almost a month later and I’m still waiting for a refund despite talking to multiple people. This business is shady and would not recommend doing business with them!

Best customer service ever! My husband and I had our 2 year old son, and Samantha was so incredibly welcoming to us and brought out toys for him to play with while we looked around. It didnt take long before we found the perfect mattress for us. My husband and I had been counting down the days to the delivery of our new mattress and adjustable base, when we got a call that they were out of stock of our base! So they UPGRADED our base for FREE so that delivery would stay on time!! With so many mattress stores within a small radius, we went to a few and eventually made our way to Mattress 1 in Pflugerville. Shopping for a mattress alone with kids can be a bit overwhelming, however Glenns knowledgeable experience and customer service made the experience quick and easy. I was able to tell him what I needed and price range I was looking for and he found exactly what I needed. There was no pressure to discuss the purchase with my husband and place the order the following day. We even got our mattress delivered the very next day! I would definitely recommend this store!

We went to the Pflugerville location this afternoon to look at Tempurpedic mattresses. I had back surgery last July and though I’m mostly pain-free, I have occasional severe back pain at times. Although we didn’t plan to purchase today, Samantha Hawkins, the area manager who helped us, was so amazing, helpful and knowledgeable that we decided to go ahead and get what we wanted. Samantha helped us “test drive” multiple mattresses and gave us the excellent information required for us to make an informed choice. We are totally satisfied and we got an amazing deal. I recommend this location and this employee without hesitation!

When asking about finance options the sales guys rudely stated that We Dont Finance That Bed, before we were able to ask about the different purchasing options they offered. He also kept making remarks about our weight. Went to mattress firm received wonderful customer service, made a purchase on a great bed with problem.

The lady working couldn’t get up from her desk because she was visiting with a friend. She was extremely rude and short when I asked a question. On top of that the price she randomly gave was high. Immediately went down the street and bought. For less money and higher end product.

We just got home from Mattress One in Pflugerville after finding our perfect mattress with Samantha! She was incredibly patient with our budget, preferences, pickiness, and our 3-year-old! Samantha has been in the business for over thirty years and genuinely KNOWS her mattress brands and styles. She was able to answer ALL of our questions and she really took the time to get to know us and our sleeping needs. She was even able to tell me about mattresses I wondered about from other brands and stores—essentially doing the research for me! We will always go to Samantha in the future, and will recommend her to our friends and family. 💕

If you have any issues, the store you bought it from claims to have ZERO ability to do anything about your order once it is placed. They will not help refund and will tell you to call their customer service.It has been one month since I ordered my mattress. They have not been deliver one of the two beds that I had ordered. Each week one of the two beds is out of order. It is obvious the warehouse does not hold your bed until your delivery date. I made my purchase on 28th of August, initial delivery 04sept. Received a call that the truck had broken down and they could not deliver that week.They set up delivery for the following Wednesday. Next Wednesday (11th) rolls around, and surprise surprise no call no show. I have to call corporate and they let me know one bed is out of stock (bs) and they can deliver both the following week, I agree and wait for the 18th. The same thing happened again, no call no show, call corporate and its the same issue. One bed in stock( queen)but the other one (king) is out of stock. Im upset, give the benefit of the doubt there were some logistical issues due to flooding in Houston.Delivery is set up for today the 25, I call ahead to see what time the truck is expected to be here. The CX service rep says they will not be able to deliver today because they are now out of the queen, but have the king in stock. It has been one month and they cannot fulfil a damn order. Inexcusable, do not do business with this company if you value your time. Ive wasted my time off numerous times.
