Helpful staff. Pretty good selection despite certain items being out of stock or limited to one per customer.

I have shopped this location for years and have been very happy with the level of service I have received. However, the lack of customer service from the general manager Dave, and assistant manager Mike, they have now lost you a loyal customer. In the future you two need to learn a phone call or an apology goes a long way to making a customer happy. You lost my lawn mower blades. I didnt complain I just kept inquiring. I was told Dave would call me, he did not. I dealt with Mike, he barely said hi and never apologized for losing the blades. Ill take my business to True Value. 2 stars for Chuck, he is an outstanding associate and tried his best to help me these last five weeks.

I really like Ace because they are local to me and a smaller company than the bigger box stores. The customer service has always been great I’ve been given detailed advice many times that has worked for me. I would say they have a good mixture of home and garden items as well as general hardware store type items. They are good midpoint between a Lowe’s or Home Depot and a department store like Walmart and Target. They don’t always have what I am looking for but I’m sure they could try to order it.

Love this place. Bought a home nearby 2 years ago and its become our defacto stop for all the smallish home improvement stuff. Propane tank needs, small hardware items, bird seed, caulk, paint, garden tools - they have a broad selection and a helpful staff. The younger staff may not always have an answer for you, but the more seasoned staff will.

Good store. Knowledgeable staff. Got some Stihl equipment. Staffer knew what he was talking about. Tight on discounts even if you purchase large ticket items, otherwise good. Well be back.

The guys in the paint department were very knowledgeable, quick to get everything ready, and very friendly.

This Ace hardware has amazing staff people and stainless/metric/hard to find hardware by the piece, instead of having to buy a whole box when you just need a bolt or two. Highly recommend!

Tina Marie and Ace Hardware...not every day do you walk into a hardware store in a pandemic asking where some Tupperware bins are ...because my mom died. Should you find yourself having a day like that... I was treated like a family member or neighbor here. ❤ Tina Marie even came out to the parking lot to make sure I got everything in my car I needed and offered me gloves. This is a great home town hardware store. The people are knowledgeable and if someone doesnt know the answer to your problem, there is someone else that does. Everyone does the best they can, are very helpful and friendly. They will will spend the extra time to make sure you have everything you need. Even if they do not have or can not get what you need, they will help find a place that does have it. Great place to shop for all your project needs.

Staff there are very nice. I went there to have a curbside pick up today. I gave a wrong name and incorrect order number. But the people worked there were very nice and patient, and came out several times for finding my order. They were very busy at the time. I am sorry for my mistake, but left a very satisfied customer.

I needed to buy a space heater but had a lot of kids with me. They were amazingly accommodating. They had the heater ready for me to check out and Bobby stood by my car and watched the kids while I paid. I was in and out in under 2 minutes. And they had the heater on sale cheaper than anywhere else that I called. Thank you!!

Stay away. I was basically yelled at by a store employee for not wearing a face mask I was however wearing a face shield which is the Pa department of health says is acceptable. The store GM is fully behind his employees and will not stick up for the customers. Go to Lowes instead

Picked up an online order. Zero wait time. The staff knew exactly my orders. Everyone was very friendly, the store was clean, and social distancing and mask guidelines were in place. This was my first order pickup at ACE and the easiest and fastest compared to other stores since the COVID-19 pandemic started.

A little more expensive but thats about convenience

So grateful for Ace Hardware. I have a car remote keyless blade that needed to be cut. Instead of me going to a locksmith or my dealership, they were able to cut this blade for me. This saved me $$$$. My contract job ended last week and this was not an expenditure I could have done. So thank you so much Ace Hardware in Phoenixville for accommodating me. I will come back here.

Every time I come here the customer service is beyond exceptional.

Good for something quick or if you dont want to drive to Lowes or Home Depot. Prices are a bit higher than youd find at the big stores but youre paying for the convenience of a local drive. Really, I would think it would pay for itself since youd be paying more for gas to get to the big stores.One item to note, if youre in a wheelchair or are with someone who is, some of the aisles on this store are blocked by display units, tools, etc. preventing passage through them and youll have to turn around or back out of said aisle.Otherwise, not bad of a store if you need something small or quickly. If you are planning on picking up a lot of whatever you need, head to the bigger stores.

We walked in and were immediately greeted and asked if we needed help. We did and the gentleman helped us find what we needed quickly.

Some of the most helpful staff in town. I frequently go here with home/garden problems-- not always sure of what exactly I will need to fix them-- and the staff quickly help me determine my options or point me to the right person. Realistic and down to earth.

I love this store. It’s big enough to almost always have what I need. They are always people around to help me find what I’m looking for. They’re friendly. They usually have some idea what they’re talking about. And it’s small enough that I can feel like I know the store and can be in and out without too much wasted time. Plus, it’s right around the corner. Truly a neighborhood store!

Always someone available to help. Even though Lowes is close my home, I drive out of my way to come here sometimes. Terrific selection of loose fasteners (nuts & bolts), better than the big stores.

Products are great and the customer service is great as well. My family comes for their wonderful paints and lights.

Traditional local hardware store. More focused selection but I wouldnt say it is lacking anything. Was able to find everything quickly yet still able to choose between products. Staff was very helpful without upselling needlessly. In fact, they kept me from spending more than I needed to. I prefer this type of store to the big box ones and will return often.

I was interested in a gas fireplace insert but I waited for 20 minutes . The man at the desk was talking to his friend the whole time. So I went to the stove shop and bought a unit and was treated with respect. If that guy was working for me I would fire him in a heartbeat.

These guys are great if you need to get car keys copied and dont want to deal with the dealership fee.

The kids for there are very smart but still fun and are helpful with showing where you need to get your stuff. They also make me laugh, they were very nice to me

My wife and I always enjoy coming to the store. It’s always clean, organized and the staff is always quick to assist. They typically have most of what I need and are more convenient to visit than going to the larger stores where help can be sporadic or just not as helpful.We recently had a great customer service experience with an associate named Scott at the Phoenixville location. He spoke with my wife mostly, on the phone and in the store, regarding primer and paint recommendations as well as the process to paint our exterior door. My wife commented on how he didn’t talk down to her or come off as a know-it-all. It was a very good experience overall and his efforts to provide good service with helpful advice for our project didn’t go unnoticed - it’s reasons like this that we come to Ace.

Great little local hardware store, it is slightly smaller then Home Depot or Lowes however. That being said it has a great assortment of the things one might need from a hardware store. I go here most of the time over the other two stores.

Stopped in to purchase a filter for a Craftsman Vac. Wala, they had it in stock. Then I found out that they are a Stihl dealer so I bought a chain for mychainsaw. I filled out an application for credit for my Handyman Business too.Cant wait till I am able to shop more often. Thank You!

Almost everything you need at a hardware store with excellent customer service and reasonably good prices. Sure beats wasting time at Home Depot or Lowes.

They were very nice and went out of their way to help me with something that nobody else would even try, I dont even live near Phoenixville ACE but next time I need something, Im going to make a special trip

I recently took advantage of the offer of free assembly and delivery on barbecue grills. I placed my order with the Phoenixville store over the phone. I explained that it wasnt needed for Christmas, so they arranged delivery for a few days later. They delivered it on time, or maybe even a bit early, which was great. They set up the new grill, and made sure that it started to heat up. They even agreed to take away the old grill and cover! When I offered a tip, they declined.This store is a great addition to this town. You can drive 15 minutes and wander aimlessly in the large chain hardware store, or save frustration and time and just shop here. They may be a bit more expensive, but their friendliness and helpfulness, make it worth it for me!

This place has a great gift section. The older female at the register has no idea how to work a register. She charged me twice for an item. Shes so slow. So frustrating. I try to avoid going to her line.

A friendly local hardware store

Bought a bird feeder for 30.00 and have 2 12.00 feeders that I bought at tractor supply. Needless to say what I bought was hung for 2 days and I had noticed yesterday it as hanging crooked, I went to investigate and it fell apart in my hands. I returned to the store and they did return my money. But, made me feel like I was a criminal. The rep was rude and insulting. If I felt for one minute I was wrong I would not have returned. Needless to say, I will not shop there again.
