If your car gets jammed up, this is the place to bring for expert repairs that are efficient and good value for money. Larry is a really great guy who works hard to satisfy his customers. I had my car back in two days for about 1/2 the price I would have paid elsewhere, and probably 1/3 of what it would have cost through the dealership. Im hoping not to be in another accident, but if I am, Ill be going back to Larry for the repair. He is an expert in both his craft of repairs and painting, but also in delivering a great customer experience.

Back in March I had a minor accident and did some damage to my front bumper. It appeared that when I went to park I hit the parking guard and it pulled a portion of my bumper from my undercarriage.I quickly took my car to my dealership in hopes there was something they could do to help b/c a part of my bumper, on the passenger side, was dragging the ground. Unfortunately, their recommendation was to take it to a body shop to be evaluated (they suspected I would need to get my front bumper replaced).I looked up a few body shops online and came across Slade Auto Body & Paint. When I called they were able to provide me with a quick appt.On the day of my appt, I met with Larry and he did a quick assessment of my bumper (and underneath the front passenger side of my car). When he was done he said he wouldnt waste the money replacing the bumper. Instead he was able to replace many of the clips that were pulled out. This helped to partially secure the bumper back in place. To ensure the bumper would hold, he then used some strong-holding plastic ties to secure the bumper even more. Once Larry finished he told me I shouldnt have any problems with the bumper and to date I havent. I proceeded to thank Larry and ask him what did I owe him for his services. He said nothing which of course shocked me. He just seemed happy to help, especially since it wasnt something that even took a lot of time or effort on his part.Due to the wonderful customer service Larry provided, I thought it only appropriate to write a review detailing my experience with Slade Auto Body & Paint. In this day and age where people are so quick to want to charge you an arm and a leg for services, I was absolutely amazed that Larry didnt take advantage of the situation. Instead he gave his best recommendation even though it meant he wouldnt receive the money he could have charged to replace my bumper. I knew right then and there if I had any future car repair needs Id be reaching out to Larry at Slade Auto Body & Paint to do the work.Thanks again Larry! I own a late model Mazda 3 which is the last car I intend to have throughout my retirement. The body had some dings and areas where rusting was visible; so, I decided to get an estimate from the Slade Auto Body and Paint Company that I had noticed nearby. I was met with a pleasant and friendly staff. The repairs my car needed were explained to me in detail as well as pointed out. After we finished looking over my car, I was asked to decide on which repairs were acceptable by me, there was no pressure. The estimate was quite reasonable, but the end result from the work they performed on my car was just AMAZING! I was STUNNED when I saw my car after arriving to pick it up, and I couldn’t have been more pleased and excited! The body of my late model car looked nearly new! I truly appreciate the AWESOME job performed by the team at Slade Auto Body & Paint Company, and highly recommend them to anyone needing body work done to their vehicle. I need fix my broken window (passenger side) that I ordered through ebay. But I need to put window regulator holder needed rivet service. I asked help few places but they dont have that kind of services. I tried to ask help Slade Body shop, and the owner installed rivets without any charge. My experience with Slade was 100% amazing. I was In a fender bender with my 2016 Acura tlx and when i tell You my baby came back like it looked before the accident it was 100% perfect. Larry and his staff at Slade are amazing!My mother’s car was in a minor accident that affected the passenger side door and the insurance was not willing to pay the full cost to repair that I was getting from other body shops. Larry was willing to work with me on price and went above and beyond by fixing the door and repairing internal units that were messed up.The project came in under other estimates, was ready ahead of schedule, and looked NEAT! Obviously I don’t WANT to have issues with my car, but next time I do, I’m DEFINITELY coming back Slade!

My experience with Slade Auto Body was exceptional. I took my car there for repair as a result of an accident. Larry has a great experience working with insurance to make sure my car was fixed and they did an amazing job, my Lexus came out perfect. I strongly recommend them.

My car was in bad shape after an accident, and Slade Auto and Body had a lot of good reviews so I thought why not give it a try. I normally go to Caliber Collision or Signature for auto body work and I have never had any problems such as the problems I’ve had with this shop. Upon them receiving my car I was told that they would keep me in the loop with everything which was not the case. My Honda Civic was taken to Slade Auto and Body around March 10th and it stayed in their care for 2 MONTHS! Now as a person who has had multiple accidents, not due to my own fault, my car has never taken so long to be completed. COVID-19 had just begun and Slade Auto and Body shut down for about a week, which I had no clue of because they failed to call me but called my insurance company. I was patient, but after almost 2 months I was annoyed and frustrated. I always had to call them to check on my vehicle. They never called me and it was always “I was just about to give you a call”. When it was almost time for me to get my car I was told that the tire was messed up and I had to wait for a new one. I was ok with that because I wanted everything fixed properly! Finally got a new tire, and then it was the accident saver that needed to be calibrated. I didn’t like that they told me it would be done within a month but every time it was something different that held me up from getting my car back when I was supposed to. Not only that, but you should not give a person an estimated time if you are not sure and have not went over all damages. Fast forward to when I picked my car up, I was told that I needed a piece that was cracked by the windshield wipers...and that they had already ordered it and I would get a call when it arrived. 2 MONTHS later I heard NOTHING! So I went there on a off day to see what was going on because not everything should not be taking 2 months to get done! I was told that the part should be in the back, and that they think they ordered it which was confusion to me because it should have never made it to the back. I should have been notified when it arrived and I would have come immediately. Over all it was a horrible time with them and I would never go back nor would I recommend this shop to anyone. They did take $250 off my $500 deposit, but I would have much rather everything be done in a timely manner, and for them to call me with ALL problems whenever they occurred. I’ve noticed a spot on my cars door that looks to not have been sanded down enough and just painted over top. Also, my mirror has black marks on it that were not there before and I believe happened when they took the mirror off to fix the door. I will go somewhere else to get those things fixed and pay out of pocket before I let them touch my car again. This is why I always stick to places that I know and have already dealt with.

I had fallen out of love with my 2008 C300 MB. It only had 115,000 miles on the odometer, however, just looking at and driving it, the love had lost its shine.I started my search to purchase a new MB. After meeting Larry, the Owner and his Staff, I felt the mental calmness in knowing that I had found a new home for all of my car care needs. We worked out a plan for my car to be re-conditioned and upgraded according to my goals. We agreed on pricing and the time factor for completion of the project, which included both mechanical, interior and exterior repairs, replacements and a total paint job, using all MB certified parts and paint.When the work was completed, upon arrival to pick up my car, I didnt recognize it. Larry and his crew gave me back a car that looked like it had just come off of the showroom floor. My car was in a major accident in DC that tore the entire front bumper along with the lights off of my car. I honestly was devastated because I was out of town when the accident occurred and I didnt know what I was going to do. I was referred to Slade Auto Body, and let me tell you....the work was impeccable. By the time I got back from my vacation my car was not only fixed, but you would have never even known it was in an accident to begin with. First, to conceptualize the dissain I have for this company and its owner... I dropped my 2008 Infiniti in May 2013 to get a BASIC body job done after being in an accident -- one that was estimated to take one month, and cost $6,000. I paid $4,500 up front and told him Id pay the rest upon completion. Two months later, ABSOLUTELY nothing was done to my car, and the man (the owner) told me it would now cost more to finish my car because of certain parts. Because I had no transportation, and was really pressed to get my vehicle, I agreed to purchase the parts directly. Four months, 4,500 dollars, several parts, and VALUABLE TIME later my car still had not made any progress. Since the owner of the shop does NOT take me seriously, nor had made any progress on my vehicle, I vowed to make weekly visits to see the progress of my car. One month ago I had to call the police on the guy because my car was in pieces with ABSOLUTELY NO ONE working on it, and still two weeks ago there was NO PROGRESS what-so-ever! I even stopped by one day he wasnt there and his Hispanic employee said he keeps taking me off the vehicle. I am in progress of filling a LAWSUIT for the cost vehicle, and the cost for every single DAMN day after the INITIAL PROMISED one month because I have been taking CABS and PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ever since! I wouldnt recommend this FOOL to my worst enemy!! Until today (over a year LATER), I still DO NOT have my vehicle.
