Today I purchased 3 cartons of cigarettes from this store in the amount of $117. My husband and I have been buying our cigarettes from this store for atleast one year. Today, I had my husbands credit card (with his permission). After we left Discount Cigarettes, we went over to the school my grandson is starting tomorrow. He has to wear a uniform and we needed new athletic shoes for him so we went to JC Penny to get him new sneakers. When I went to pay, the card was declined. The credit card company told me a vendor had reported it stolen. It had to be the owner of Discount Cigarettes because it worked fine in his store and the next use was JC Penny. So, tomorrow, my grandson has to borrow his one of his brothers pair of sneakers which are a size too big until we can straighten out this problem. So, as far as my husband and I are concerned goodbye Discount Cigarettes. We will never buy anything from your store again. One time before, I noticed that he questioned that I was using my husbands debit card. My husband was waiting in the car so he was able to come into the store and confirm my use of the card. Now, I know that if someones credit card was actually stolen, this might be appreciated but I believe it is the cardholders responsibility to report it to their cc co. The store owner taking it upon himself to report a card stolen when he does not know this as a matter of fact is completely out of line. He strikes me like a pretty paranoid individual who has mistrust for his customers.
