Not trying to downstar this review but guys please make sure that water dispenser is kept up-to-date... water tastes funky almost unfiltered.. or get rid of it.

This family owned business has gone above and beyond, for at least the past two decades, in providing fairly priced necessities for the neighborhood. Abdul was a staple in the neighborhood and has passedthe same generosity and fairness down to his daughter and son in law. I appreciate all they have done and continue to do for this neighborhood.

My experience...the man racially profiled me during my visit and when I indicated that is what my experience was, he mocked me, confirming my uneasy feeling. For a business staffed/run by people of color in a neighborhood that predominantly serves people of color, you might want to check your own racist biases. One visit and I never returned. Go where you and people like you are respected.

Its been here longer than Ive been alive, so its obviously doing something right. Didnt expore this place to much but the clerk was helpful. Parking is free & is usually whatever is available in the front of the store.
