I need to preface by saying I love love Dollar Tree!! This by far is one of favorite stores to shop at. Anytime I travel whether it’s KC, NYC, Orlando, OKC I will stop and spend money. However, here in Pittsburg, it’s hard to shop for anything when the shelves are not stocked. It would be one thing if it was the first time…or the second, or the third…….and if it was only one shelf or so. But this is a recurring issue. I would say for about the last like 6-8 months I’ve gone in and about 40% of the store is empty. Today I talked out loud and said the shelves are always empty. Theresa responded letting me know this is a high volume store. No Theresa, Joplin is a high volume store, Kansas City, NYC is a high volume store. This is a lack of restocking and planning appropriately. All the stores I mentioned do not have this problem. Those shelves are always stocked by the way. I hate what this store has become because it used to be a great place to come. The staff are almost always very nice and helpful (Angelica and one other girl with dark hair that had dyed bangs were super sweet and nice). But I guess I’ll start shopping in Joplin or Dollar General because that seems to be the only way I’m going to be able to get the stuff I need.

Very warm and very much in disarray. Not sure if they are closing or remodeling. I would pass this one up for awhile

Disgusting. No paper towels in the bathroom. No trash can. All the used, dirty paper towels were thrown on the floor along with used toilet paper rolls.

Was good visit. A girl who worked there helped me find a few things. Because this was a store that I havent been in a couple months. Then she came and opened another checkout. Because lines were long. Thanks honey 👍👍👍👍👍

This store is located in Pittsburg, Kansas. This location in google maps takes you to Wichita, Kansas but lists it as the correct Pittsburg address.Google Maps for the love of God fix this. We have a active rail yard in use today located in Wichita, KS that is listed as a store like 150 miles away.Don’t let people drop pins as a chain business and make them public without any credentials or proof.It ought to be a law!

Cashier friendly. Store needed attention to empty shelves and lots of boxes in the isles.

If you like it you better grab it or it will be gone. Lots of great deals for seasonal items as well as staples. It can be difficult to get around the store because the isles are full of boxes

This store is the filthiest place I have seen in a long time. The floor is not clean, many of the shelves are bare. I am truly disgusted by how dirty it is my suggestion is to avoid it if you can and go to the dollar general store

I understand I was shopping on Christmas Eve Eve (12/22/18). I have to say I was totally shocked to see the shape the store was in. It was in complete disarray! The shelves were empty on every isle. You could barely get up or down the aisles because of all of the merchandise from the shelves being on the floor. I dont blame the employees for that as there are a lot of people that let their children run free while they shop, to get into things without consequences, then never take responsibility for what their children did such as picking up what they drug off of the shelves or offering to pay for things their children may have damaged. I managed to find a few things I was wanting to purchase. Upon checkout the clerk was not cordial at all. I finally greeted her first by saying Hello and merely asking how her evening was going. She seemed put off that she was even at the register checking out my merchandise. Im sure it has been an extremely busy holiday season. Im sure they are probably under staffed. Im sure they have probably been yelled at by a customer more than once in any given day. But with all of that taken into consideration it still is not an excuse to have a store that is so messy, and dirty with the shelves bare and to have unfriendly clerks. Let me say this. I have worked in retail for many, many years. I was the manager at a retail store in the Customer Service Department. So trust me when I say I have seen, and heard it all. I truly hope things will change for this store as this is not the first time of many times I have been here and things were pretty much the same as they were tonight. Soon I will decide to just not do business here anymore. As it is not worth the aggravation.

The store manager there is very nice. Being a local for as many years as I have I can tell you she has done wonders with the place. Anytime you go in there the manager is always ready to help.

Gotten so much cleaner and well stocked! I love coming here and seeing the friendly staff.

Dollar Tree in Pittsburg is filthy and smells. The place is so overly crowded with merchandise that there is barely room to walk. Two carts can not get down the isles at once. There is stock in the middle of the isles and only two checkout lanes they use. The wait in line was ridiculous. After all of these years and so many different employees you would think they could hire at least one employee who would clean.

Good except the cashier needed backup as she had customers backed up 12 to 14 deep

Love dollar tree in pittsburg ks. Our granddaughter says her favorite store. We visit often for holidays an food,laundry, household stuff medications. If wasnt for this store we have go with out alot.

Love going into this store. Always has a great selection of current season decor.

Fully stocked shelves, but only 1 cashier, no carts which made shopping difficult

I was surprised by the selection of groceries and such and i plan to shop here more often. The selection is random, but its worth a visit.

Store doesnt have much food on the shelves, also womens bathroom has no key so women have to use the mens. Nothing wrong that except for the key being on a hula hoop and its hard to get the key out of the door. Not all employees are friendly though.

I had an issue with a rude nasty manager a while back. I complained to corporate and got no response. This just tells me that they dont care about their customers. The place is also a mess most of the time.
