They are usually short staffed but the workers are all helpful and nice. The store manager is a very hard worker.

Big Lots has a surprisingly amazing grocery section. I buy quite a bit when I go. Prices are better than grocery store sales.

It got remodeled again I think and I like the way it looks now really easy to find things well to me it is but everyone there was friendly and made my experience there very nice plus it was really clean

What I had was in stock and the employees friendly. However the last few trips they have not had any cleaner or paper towels available to wipe the carts.

Everything was good untill we were right at the check out line in Monroeville P.A. we were ready to check out and the power went out in the whole store. We had to go to 2 different locations to get what we wanted. But, on another note. We are pleased with what we finally did get.

The store is much cleaner since the remodel . Its a little more pricey ( a little ) and the furniture section has taken up most of the front end of the store now . They do have a bigger grocery selection with a good bit of health concious foods. Some of the sales signs need reworded as they are very misleading . I will visit again.

Stores are not well organized and really only want to push furniture anymore. Dirty messy and chaotic atmosphere. Dont carry much of the basics I used to rely on them for.

I love Big Lots. They have vastly improved their shopping selections. The holiday features are great and priced right. Great place to find last minute gifts, gifts for teachers etc. The only drawback is one day they have a great find, but when the inventory is gone its gone. Oh well, get it while you can.

Nice remodeling job, but prices are climbing

First time i really looked around since thr store was redone. Looks nice but it will take awhile to know where everything is. Love the furniture section. I have bought things in furniture department before and now i have more ideas.

Getting a great deal on school supplies.

The new layout is awful. It should be called FURNITURE (and some other stuff) I used to buy all my yard Christmas Decorations there, as well as boxed Christmas cards (for many many years), basically lots of holiday goodies. I enjoyed a one-stop shop the rest of the year - electronics, yard stuff, pet items, toys, stationary, household goods, and snacks or canned goods. But I couldnt find half of the stuff I usually get there. Seems they got rid of lots of items to fit more furniture in. Two thumbs down. I just wont bother shopping there anymore. (another good store bites the dust)

Rude cashier randomly up and left the register and when she came back, had an attitude and snapped at us about where we were standing in line. We were 6 feet away from people and not sure where to go since the cashier ran off.

Noticed quite a few people without their mask properly on and no one was enforcing the Mac requirements. But apparently social distancing 6 ft separation was being followed.

I love the new layout. It still doesnt have as much of a selection as the other Big Lots, but they are improving.

They are remodeling the store but it hasnt been a big issue. Staff is always friendly and the store is clean. My only dislike is there is no refrigeration area like other Big Lots. Even with the upgrades, I was told there would not be one. Despite that, I still enjoy shopping there and will continue. Prices are excellent on some things, okay on others. You can generally find whatever you are looking for.Update: store is remodeled. Furniture is kind of pricey but there is a lease program there if you cant pay for it outright.

Despite being a discount place they have truly exceptional deals. Some of their healthy foods like seeds and nuts are incredibly fresh! The furniture and bedding or above-average quality for below-average prices. And the new makeover to the store is really nice.

Big lots is a local furniture household item type from a to z they have couches chairs tables dressers drapes hanger dry a comforter sheet blankets pillow case all different types of amenity for the local community your centrally located in Penn Hills shopping center and prices are reasonable and services are fairly decent

Newly updated store, very organized and lots of home items to choose from.

Cheap prices. Make sure you look at expiration dates on food. Sucks they dont take foodstamps since their target market is people to broke to buy the stuff elsewhere

Store redone I like the feel of this place plus I always get more then what I came for.

I got exactly what I needed last minute before Christmas and even though the shelves were kind of bare because of the holiday and how busy the were they still had a good selection and the staff was in a good mood and very friendly!

There delivery people were late. They drug my new king size mattress on the ground & it was raining. Then they wouldnt even put them on the bed frame. Plus the blocked my dresser with my medications on it. When I called Big Lots to complain the manager seemed very friendly with the delivery people & took their side. I also purchased some things for my daughter also. I was treated very badly. It will be a very long time if I ever shop at Big Lots.

We walked into this place to buy one thing, but as we all know that doesnt always happen. We were hosted by a wonderful gentleman named Jeff whose customer service should be trained throughout their business model, followed by his memorization of the stores inventory. We then walked over to checkout and walked uo to a gentleman named Kaamil who never stopped smiling. That store was a joy to shop at. Thank you Jeff and Kaamil for making it fun to shop at Big Lots in the Penn Hills Shopping Center! 😊🌹👍
