My driver’s side windshield wiper stopped working. Rain was forecast so repair was necessary. Arranged an appointment for the very next day (a Saturday) and was prepared to leave it (and utilized the courtesy ride back home offered.). The technician inspected my Silverado 1500 pick up truck and quickly diagnosed the problem. A “loose bolt” and immediately fixed it and gave my good as new pickup truck back. I was very pleased that this important repair was addressed so promptly and even more so as Placentia Super Service waived the repair cost. Excellent service so I will be back as a repeat customer when something goes wrong with one of my family’s vehicles.

This shop is so amazing. Benjamin was super helpful and on top on the repairs. The Technician Anthony even stayed after hours to ensure my car was ready to go and perfect. I would highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced there. They do a complementary 60 point inspection to make sure the vehicle is in good shape and there aren’t any safety issues going on. The advisors are super knowledgeable and will go through each part and explain how it functions and effects the vehicle. Great shop!

So, after having my battery replaced by triple A, it turns out my alternator was also out. I got my left and right control arms replaced as well, which requires an alignment. My spark plugs also needed to be replaced. All of these repairs can be stressful, but this is my third time using Placentia Super Service, so I knew that my car was in good hands. I originally had a an appointment on Wednesday, but they were able to run diagnostics on my car on Tuesday and I was out and driving again by Wednesday afternoon. Theres a reason they have such great reviews! They are such kind and honest people here. When you go, they give you a detailed report of what they found and what services they provided, with an expense report for the parts as well as the cost for labor. I recommend this place to all of my friends with car repair needs.

Do not be fooled by the good reviews.Took my 2008 Mercedes Benz E350 Sport in for 3 issues on Wednesday 8/11/21 at 9am:1- check engine light2- install the tire pressure sensors I bought3- replace a turn signal lightI was told they would call me by Thursday when the diagnostic was complete so I can authorize the work.That did not happen- FAIL #1I ended up calling them Thursday and asking to speak with the manager. The manager (Don) apologized and explained they were busy and had some call offs etc. Guess what Don, your customers are busy too.I gave Don another chance because he was so sincere in his apology. Don tells me hes going to take care of this personally and he will CALL me by 9am Friday morning with an update on the diagnostic so I can authorize the work.That did not happen - FAIL#2When I called Friday afternoon, Don finally tells me what the car needs and I authorize some of the work. Don assured me he and his team would have my car completed by Saturday.That did not happen - FAIL#3Here we are on Monday and they call me and tell me the parts have just arrived and my car MIGHT be ready by closing time.ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME?I called in Monday to give Don one last chance to save the sale and he FAILED by offending me with an offer to take off $100 from the total cost.I told Don to return my car to its original state and I will take my $1800 elsewhere so I can give some other hard working mechanic my hard earned money. Don will eat the cost of lost labor and returned parts etc.The irony is, it was the Yelp reviews that brought me to you Don. BEST Car Repair Company Ive ever used!10/5/21: 2015 Hyundai Tucson LTD- starter unexpectedly went out at only 49K miles. 1 year past my 5-yr warr, dealer quoted $1,000 P&L to replace. Same day, I called Placentia Super Service. Benjamin quoted $419 for same electrical job AND gave me additional $25 Yelp discount, for a total cost of $394. Wow! Plus, part was ready when tow truck delivered my car. 2 hours later....I had my car back. Friendly! Honest! Great Pricing! Through! FAST! I went in to Placentia Super Service because my check engine light came on and while driving my car I could just tell something was wrong. I was able to make an appointment for early the next day after the light came on. From the beginning everyone was super helpful. The day I came in, check in was quick and I was told I would get a call when they knew exactly what was wrong. Once they found out what was wrong they gave me a reasonable estimate and told me they would have my car ready by the next day and they did. I was so pleased by the amount of time it took them to fix the issue. Coming here was the right choice.

I learned of Placentia Super Service through Facebook where they offered to allow you to spread the cost of your repair over monthly payments. As my car was having cooling system issues and I had very little money, I gave them a try. I was approved for the monthly payments called Easy pay. My service writer took me to the service bay so the mechanic could show me my leaking radiator. The mechanic also told me I needed a new air filter. I just put a new air filter just a few days ago, so that led me to not trust the mechanic. The service writer told me the car would not be ready until the next day, so she provided me with a loaner. The next day, the service writer told me my car and paperwork would be ready to pick up after hours. I got off work after 830 pm and did not find my car out front as I was told it would be. I walked to the back of the shop and found a tech working after hours. He was able to pull my car out of a fenced area and give me my keys. I still did not have a copy of my final paperwork. The next morning at 11, the service writer gave me some excuse of why my car was not out front and told me she would e mail my final paperwork. My car was finished on Friday and I still don’t have a copy of my final paperwork!! I will not use Placentia Super Service again!

I made an appointment a week prior to have an oil change and to have my turn signal looked at. The oil change took over two hours and the tech didn’t look at the turn signal. The office staff was nice though.

The staff is the most professional I have met super kind and they were able to walk me through a step by step on what my car needed. They got my car in and out in two days. With plactenia super service you really cant get any better than them and I will be a life long customer.

My car battery had given out on me the other night. The following day I gave Placentia Super Service a call with hopes in getting a new battery and hopefully having my alternator checked. Benjamin surpassed my expectations. After getting my car jump started by roadside assistance, he told me to come on over and got my car taken care of in the middle of their crazy busy schedule. Not only did he get my battery taken care of, he was also able to get my car fully serviced. I cant thank him enough for taking care of me and my car. Definitely will be new go-to when it comes to getting my car serviced. Used to only visit the dealership mechanics for my car service, but not anymore. After getting the final invoice, Ive now realized how much Ive been getting overcharged. Highly recommend!

This is an update to my previous review. Bob called me to let me know that after my comment about the high price of the parts, they had confirmed that there was an issue with the pricing they had charged me for my cars parts. They refunded me a fair amount. I appreciate that they took my complain seriously and acted accordingly. The job was completed to my satisfaction and the car is running smoothly.

There were some issues on the brake repair. I called and talked to Bob and he apologized and was right to the point to make everything good. They corrected the problem, rechecked the car and I very happy with their work. The are my go to mechanics from now on. Oh, nice waiting are, very comfortable.

I went here because of the good reviews but unfortunately I can’t leave one of those. When I called they told me they could take me in on a Friday but I’d most likely have to leave it overnight. I asked if they’d be able to work on it if I brought it in on Saturday and the said yeah to bring it in anytime. They didn’t perform the diagnostic test until the following Monday morning after I called them twice. They they told me it was going to be $700+ to fix the brakes on my 2008 Toyota Corolla. I made the easy deduction to take back my car and go somewhere else that wouldn’t overcharge me and take days to run a simple test.

Alex Lakis was a great service advisor! He was honest, polite, and very conversational. The other service advisors were also very kind and polite.The mechanics, along with everyone got my 2004 F250 Super Duty Diesel working in top condition WAY faster and cheaper than having my truck serviced at the Ford dealers! We will definitely use Placentia Super Service for all of our future service needs.

It took 3 hours for an oil change, replace windshield wipers and hood struts. I brought them the hood struts. They said the parts were defective. They ordered the part, I brought my car back (2nd trip) those were defective too. They have ordered yet another set and i have to come back a 3rd time - as if i have all day to sit in their lobby. I am deeply disappointed and the part is too expensive for such a run around.

The team is always very helpful and honest. Ive been bringing my cars here for years now. Most recently my mustang had an electrical problem which I thought was going to be very expensive but it turns out it was just the battery. Thanks again Super service team👍🏼

Edit: The manager was friendly and apologized for the lack of communication. He gave very sensible reasons to make me think the service I received was a one-off mistake. He was also willing to explain pricing and go over how they strive to provide good service. Overall, I think it would be worth coming again, they may not be the cheapest but they do care about their customers---Staff is friendly but will not return your calls. It takes them a whole week to inspect my vehicle and then they wrote me a $7k dollar estimate and well over half of that was labor. The diagnostic was partially done and the prices are insane. buyer beware

Alex and team are friendly and professional! For my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 167k miles, Placentia Super Service repaired two oil leaks, replaced all 4 shocks and fixed the windshield wiper nozzles. I was ready to give up on my Jeep and now I feel really good that the work done by Placentia Super Service will give me way more driving miles.

They saw me within two hours of me calling at 11am Saturday morning. About the nicest waiting area of any shop or dealership for that matter. I know alot of places have tv in the waiting area but they leave the remote out so you can watch what you want. Also side tables next to couches have cell phone chargers and coffee and cold drinks, candy dish and other snacks like granola bars etc. Very clean and friendly shop.

I was happily surprised to find they have a service that will drop you off at your house if you aren’t waiting in the shop for the repairs. They kept me updated about my repairs and the cost. The lady at the front desk was really nice. I have had my car for a year and a half and haven’t figured out how to connect my phone (the dealership tried and could not do it). The front desk lady (Lorrie?) came out and had it connected in under 2 mins. Very impressed with the service. The prices were also reasonable. I will be coming back and telling my friends.

I had my van towed there on a Saturday around 2:00 pm, not expecting them to get to it til Monday or Tuesday. I went home and about 1-2 hours later I got a call telling me it was ready for pickup. I was very pleased with their service and I will recommend them to my friends.

I went there so they could see whats the exact thing thats causing an engine code (after I replaced most of the stuff that can cause the code) and they came back to me with a list of things needed for my car to be running again. Unnecessary things such as transmission replacement and valve cover gasket were recommended.The engine code that was bothering me was also misdiagnosed. I replaced the part myself but its still giving off the same code. They seem to be overpriced but they also seem to know a lot about what needs to be done. Not great but also not bad. Still upset about the misdiagnosis.

PSS provided great service at a fair price. While working on the engine, they inadvertently punctured the radiator. They disclosed the accident to me, replaced the radiator and didn’t charge me for the replacement. I’m happy that I took my car to a place where they did their work with transparency, professionalism, and integrity.

Top tier service. I was on a trip and needed immediate car service. Don was excellent, he took the time to diagnose the issue with my car, and kept his promise on making sure I got the quick service that I needed to get back on the road home.Once diagnostics are complete, the shop sends you a full report, complete with pictures and notes detailing what issues they found and what needed to be done. My car was ready to go within one hour and I immediately noticed the improvement in how the car drives.

Very efficient, friendly, informative, and understanding. I have been coming here for awhile and will continue to do so as well as recommend to others.

They usually have a $99 “inspection/lift fee” just to confirm the cars issue even if you already know the problem. That it self is a red flag sorry. (They waived it for me though). I had a simple exhaust weld issue, they wanted to charge me $160 and thats WITH some sort of made up “coupon” hahaha. Literally everywhere else for the same issue was charging $40-60 total. No BS fees, no hidden coupons, no fake charges. With that 1.5 hour experience, I mentioned the fact that EVERYWHERE else were charging LESS THEN HALF of what they were, they still didn’t want to do it. They took my truck off the lift and I drove to Anchor Muffler in Anaheim, paid $40, took 30 min and done. Sorry, I would never use these guys d’or any service because i know they make up fake fees and bs coupons to make their over the top prices seem a little more tolerable. For mechanic work, go to Community tire and auto in brea, for muffler work go to Anchor Muffler in Anaheim. You will save a ton for FAR better service.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Only had an alignment done but seems like this shop does good honest work. Waiting room is updated and nice, and fully stocked with snacks and drinks. It also has a big window into the shop where I could actually view my car being worked on. There was an error on my paperwork afterward but they’re on top of things and called me before I even got back home. A corrected version was then sent to my email. The error did not affect the work that was done. I would recommend.

Went to Placentia Super Service for the first time this week. Place seems professional, and the waiting area is fairly nice. The service did seem to take awhile for having a scheduled appointment. I arrived at 10 and didnt leave until almost 1 for an oil change and alignment. Prices seem reasonable, though I do wish they were more upfront about the discounts/coupons they offer like a few other shops Ive been to. Overall decent first experience. Will try them again.

Don and Michael addressed the problem and located the issue, they kept me informed of the cost and process the entire time. They also offer loaner cars if needed. When I saw that the splash shield under my car was dragging on the street, I knew I should get it fixed right away. I called Placentia Super Service and was able to get it repaired the same day. Michael was super friendly and helpful. He recommended a couple other repairs, but I didnt get anything else done that day.The next week, I called AAA because my car wouldnt start. George from AAA replaced the battery and recommended that I check the alternator, so I went back to Placentia Super Service. The alternator was OK, but the car still needed other repairs (because it was old and I ran over a tire on the freeway years ago and never got it fixed properly at another repair shop). Michael remembered me and I started talking to him about buying a new used car. He said Placentia Super Service offered prepurchase inspections for $120. That sounded like a great deal, since buying a used car would save me thousands.After doing some research, I found a used Honda Civic that I liked, and the guys from Auto Republic took it to Placentia Super Service for an inspection. Placentia Super Service did the inspection and texted me a link to the results (so convenient!). I bought the car the next day. I couldnt be happier with my new car, and I want to thank everyone at Placentia Super Service for giving me peace of mind knowing that this is a good car that will last for years, especially since I will be taking it to Placentia Super Service for all of its routine maintenance. Brought my car here to have my head gasket fixed. The shop did a great job at fixing the issue, however, they forgot to replace a part so I had to bring my car in again to have the part changed out. The second repair was covered by the warranty they issue on their repairs so I didnt need to pay anything out of pocket. It would have been nice to have it all fixed the first time around, but all in all a good shop, they will take good care of your car.
