After reading all the negative reviews, I was skeptical. I went in today to purchase a power steering conversion kit and disc brake setup for my 57 Chevy Bel Air. The prices and quality cant be beat, I know most of the stuff is Chinese, but good Chinese. Chris was my salesman, he was extremely professional, polite and patient and I think CPP needs to give this guy a raise. He went over all the pulled parts with me one by one, answered all my questions. All in All I will be back and I will definitely refer all my classic car customers from my shop.

I bought a kit to upgrade my 1966 F-100 to Power front disks a few months ago. I just got them installed and one of the pistons leak. I called tech support, and they said remove 1 caliper, and ship it to them. It would arrive sometime next week. They would then review it to see if it is truly defective, and then and only then would they ship me a replacement. So my truck is down for 2 weeks minimum, and I have to pay the mechanic to store it. So, If they decide my Mechanic isnt lying then they will replace the $21 caliper, with $45 in shipping costs!!!!What would I like???I would like them to take my CC box a unit up and ship it next day Air, and then I can ship the old one to them Ground. If it is not found defective, charge my card. If is then call it a day.When I ordered this it took weeks to get. I will never order another thing from them. They need to learn what customer service is!!!

Ordered parts back on July 20th, said in stock 2 months later Taylor for eBay parts calms me sept 22 and request credit card number after paying for parts in July! Said eBay refunded my money! No such return to date! Called and talk to Dan and said would help me! My truck has been down for 2.5 months cause f this and now threatens to have parts rerouted back! Would not do business again after dong few thousand dollars with them! Disappointed! See what happens next!

Ordered an Offset Spring Shackle for a build I am doing. Decided to go another direction and did not need the parts. The parts I have have never been opened or out of the box. Contacted CPP twice before getting a response that I missed the 30 days return period. CPP must not know cars or how builds go. Things change constantly and ALWAYS take longer than you expect. Even if you do get it returned in 30 days they charge a %20 restocking fee! I guess what is most frustrating is that in my package they included a sheet saying Satisfaction Guarantee. I guess that is a lie. They lost a customer today as I will no longer buy from them.

Wanted over 2 hours to get any kind if service, only 1 person working counter and 3 others talking in the office. I bought a master brake cylinder and it keeps leaking around the fitting. Dont want to deal with the very very poor customer service again. I found another shop to buy from. If you have time and I mean alot of time to waste and money to burn go there and good luck with the parts you get I diffently wont go back.

Have gone on their website multiple times to purchase a product and when I try to put it in the cart click on buy nothing happens. So I email them letting them know about this and I wait a few days go back to buy the same product and the same thing happens. I again email them in all this time I get no response from these people saying anything. I try different products to put in the cart works fine. I did it again today same thing. Evidently they do not take customer satisfaction seriously. Atleast they could do is get back to me.

Purchased a C10 rear sway bar from CPP thru CJ pony November 2020 and received on January 2021. CPP ships directly from there facility. CPP supplied the incorrect clamp and bushing fo kit purchased. CJ Pony has contacted them directly to send me correct parts needed to finish install. It’s been over 4 weeks and CPP has not shipped out items or given us estimated time. I talked to a CPP representative and was told to deal with whom I purchased the sway bar from. I figured they could speed the process since it’s CPP product and packaged and shipped thru them.

Terrible customer service! Placed a $3200 order in February. Just now getting it filled this week. Then, they call to double the shipping cost from $200 to $400. Would not honor the original quote. They said the salesperson (Moises) should have checked with the shipping department before emailing me the quote.

Since getting ahold of a human seems impossible with ridiculous wait times even at 8:00 am when they open i emailed them not once but twice. No reply ever. I even left them a voice mail with my invoice number and call back number. No call back. Extremely frustrating. Im kind of locked into what i have with them.

This company is terrible!!! Worst website ever to order from. Takes weeks for them to process the simplest order. God help you if you try to call them, it’s comical. I called once and was 5th in line. Told me it was a 94 minute hold time. Takes another week to ship. Then when you return an item that was 100% unused and returned perfectly in the same box they screw you out of a 20% restocking fee. This day and age I truly don’t know how CPP stays in business. Zero customer service during the process and screw you on returns.Save yourself some time and frustration and use Summit.

Deceptive. Sells item they know are out of stock with no communication, yet they take your money.Items still listed with no product until possibly two months. No contact no discount. They take your money, deceptive. No reason offered.You must contact them to find out why product hasnt been shipped or received. Bad business practice.Enough poor reviews and worse customer service to avoid this place like the plague. Expected product and had to spend more money since project was already scheduled.

I’ve been using CPP for over 8 years, have owned around 60 classic cars and brokered the export of around 300 vehicles to Australia most of which have had parts from this company. Now I will not be using them anymore.I bought a steering box for my 76 Cadillac Eldorado over the phone with a salesperson, he said it was a “direct replacement”. With the box, filter and rag joint it was almost $500 which I thought was pretty pricey but expected it to be good quality.After the install my beautiful caddy went from one finger steering to almost two hands and driving like an absolute truck. I explained this to a rep and they said it couldn’t be returned after it has been installed. Now starts nearly TWO MONTHS of spending HOURS on the phone to talk some sense into them, waiting for phone calls I never received, being on hold and given the classic BS runaround.They finally agreed to take the steering box back and the rag joint but not the filter with a 20% restocking fee.I spent another three hour round trip to take it back to be left waiting for nearly an hour while a QC looks over it which they didn’t do and said they would call me.They then tell me they won’t take the $50 rag because it has a slight tear (it had 3 miles on it) and it was missing a washer.They never took responsibility for misrepresenting the product. A direct replacement is exactly that, a direct replacement. If it is any different in how it functions or if it completely changes the characteristics of the car it is not. All the rep had to say is that the steering will be a bit tighter and not as easy to steer as the original box and this never would have happened.I was happy to cop the 20% restocking fee, happy to cop not being able to return the filter, happy to cop the 20-30 hours this ordeal has taken away from me and happy to cop the two months of being screwed around and not being able to use my car. But not refunding me on the rag joint is the final straw.In all fairness Moses the guy that helped was a nice guy, I feel like this is a ‘higher up issue’.Plenty of other parts shops I’ll be redirecting clients to. I used red head steering gear to rebuild my original box for $270 and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Shipped to them, rebuilt and back in 10 days.

Ordered off eBay first, was told I’d have the parts end of November, then December, then after complaining was told end of February. Ordered from speedway instead uppers a arms and lower a arms separate but was told I’d have everything in the kit. Received items with no lower a a rms hardware, brackets like it showed in pics or instructions whatsoever. Messaged customer service was told they didn’t include hardware and to use factory bolts, well factory bolts are bigger so I guess they want me to drill 8 holes bigger to mount the lower a arms. Still no instructions. Also spindles off Granada were suppose to fit, instead I call them and find out I have to order spacer shins from them that cost me more money and time waiting. How is this place even in business if they can’t treat a customer fairly.

Ordered a upper and lower tubular control armKit for a 1979 camaro. Parts seemed decent and good for the price. installed parts on a Rolling chassis and after a few months ballJoint boots tore (car was not driven). Seemed premature to have them go bad. Getting a hold of customer service was impossible over the phone, always a 1 hour hold time which no one has time for.Reached out via email and took a weeks for a generic reply. Stated my concern to a rep by the name Erick magdaleno. Naturally he informed me it could be atmospheric conditions that could’ve degraded the boots, but seemed unlikely as ball joint boots don’t wear after 6 months on a new vehicle. He sent my concern up and told me they don’t carry boots, and I could buy a new set of ball Joints for 10% off. A nice alternative but seemed like a work around from their LIFE TIME WARRANTY. As stated” All CPP products are guaranteed for life from date of purchase, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee is void in the event of misuse, neglect, improper installation or misdiagnosis. ”After referencing multiple ball joint types, I realized these ball joints were mounted on the underside of the upper control arm, where as other brands ALL had them mounted from the top. Further inspection revealed a gap and excess protection by the mounting bolts to the boots. Erick assured me this was properly installed as I had received it. Information do not seem kosher and could explain why they may have been damaged to begin with. Escalating to a safety concern and asking for higher management contact and for a refund due to warranty, I was informed I could by new boots at a local parts store and not provided the contact.Overall, Mediocre company that sell improperly assembled parts and do not back their products. Will not buy from again and will recommend you think twice about ordering from themThank you CPP and Erick Magdaleno for wasting customers time and money.

This company treated our dad, a 72 year old veteran on a fixed income, with zero respect making him contact them multiple times with no answer regarding an issue; leaving him out hundreds of dollars and unnecessary stress. His entire family gets involved to try and help and they don’t return our calls and make us wait over an hour to speak to a rep. Then after two months of trying to get an answer they finally say sorry we can’t help you. They clearly have no desire to help anyone and want to take advantage of people not getting a hold of them so orders can keep charging. DO NOT order from them. Ease share this with everyone you know. We are kind and understanding people that were willing to find a solution but this company does not care about people at all.

They shouldnt take orders if they dont have the parts available. My falcon is starting to rust from being on jack stands so long. It should have been back on the road months ago...

Ordered gas tank from them . I ordered wrong one. And I admitted it. Open box measured knew that it was wrong immediately. Contacted them to send back for a refund. They where slow to respond also agreed to pay 20% restock fee . Sent tank back .they said it was scratched and couldnt accept the return . So in conclusion I paid for shipping back to them and back to me because they wouldnt accept the returnDue to scratches keep on mind never pulled tank out if box . I placed an order on 6/30/2020 for a big brake kit front and rear for my c10. Good looking kit that was priced fair and seemed to meet my needs. I ordered over the phone. At the time I was told one piece of the kit was on backorder for 3 weeks. One month later I inquired about the status as I was not updated at all-at that time I was told one more week. One week later--guess what? no update. I called AGAIN and was told one more week. I should have cancelled then. The same game kept happening.Finally after multiple calls asking for updates my kit shipped on 9/2/2020! I recieved it 9/10/2020 Hooray!! For those of you keeping track that is 72 days. Guess what? The kit wasnt complete-a whole box was missing. The rear hard lines were damaged by UPS to boot--not their fault stuff happens. I called them to inform them, got the third degree about whether I had all the packages...I found that insulting. After determining the missing parts I realized the master cylinder was different from what I thought I ordered. Sales rep was nice and helped me send it back to exchange--great--didnt even complain that I had to pay shipping (miscommunications happen). I sent it to them last week and it showed up today 9/22/2020. The missing pieces from the 9/10 have now showed up today as well. I called to inquire about the rear line replacements and master cylinder exchange (AGAIN me calling them to see if they are doing what they say theyre doing) and was told it may take up to 3 weeks for the warehouse to process the return prior to them sending me the exchanged part. Today is now 9/22/2020 and they have had my money for 21 days and I still dont have a complete and functional brake kit. No master cylinder--No rear hard lines. The reps are all nice and quick to apologize but the tale of the tape here shows they dont care. Theyre nice but they do not care--Its been over 80 days since product is ordered and its still not complete.I asked if a manager was willing to make it right by giving me some sort of compensation for all the mistakes and wasted time and was told--No not likely. Essentially they say theyre consumer oriented but only truly worried about sales. Theyll tell you dates to keep you from cancelling your order and going elsewhere. I truly hope the kit performs well because I cannot imagine dealing with tech issues with them. From my experience here it seems that if a part fails your vehicle will be inoperable for the amount of time it takes them to recieve the product youll pay to ship. Then 1 to 3 weeks for them to evaluate the problem. Then the amount of time for them to send you said part. Then however long your install takes. I will say the kit looks nice and was priced well. At this time I wish I would have used someone else. Now that this happened I looked at their google reviews and BBB rating....things make sense. Go elsewhere if you can.

Caution!!!!!! Bait and switch! Called to purchase a rear suspension kit and was sold the wrong kit. After being verified that it was them that made the mistake. Still insisted on me paying for the parts I thought we’re included in the kit because the associate and I talked through everything, and mind you they verified that over reviewing the phone calls! So I paid 1161.80 for what I thought was everything. Well it wasn’t. So since I needed the trailing arms that weren’t in the kit I got. The difference in price of kits was 600 dollars. So at first they told me sending me the arms at 600 was a discount since they were normally 770. I confirmed that that’s sold individually not part of the kit. So these clowns think they’re doing me the favor after waiting six weeks on parts delaying my project and insulting me by telling me I’m getting a deal? I told them I wasn’t happy so they offered me 75 dollars off and to ship the trailing arms out today 8-5-2020! Kathy the manager I spoke to at ext. 106 assured me they would arrive by this Friday 8-7-2020. So still not being happy about this.... I need the parts so I let them complete their bait and switch routine on me costing me another 623.88. Something tells me I may not get my parts this Friday with this untrustworthy business that CPP does! So the Manager lady Kathy didn’t understand why I would want to put their parts on my truck after being so unhappy even after I explained to her I have the matching tubular control arms on the front of my truck and wanted it all to match. For I want to complete the job unlike CPP. I wasn’t asking them to send me the parts for free, which I know they could have and it wouldn’t have hurt them at all! I merely asked for 25% off the trailing arms since it was their mistake. Which would have made them 450 instead of the 525 they tried to make up for. So after talking to Kathy like a three year old and just telling her to charge my card so I can get on with my life, she still wanted to debate with me as to why I wanted to buy the arms still! Really blown away at the disregard for customer service. Even after listening in on the old calls and knowing they’re wrong! Zero compassion! Please everybody stay away from this place!Here I am later in my build! The same ol story! Bought their put together kit and they sold me parts I didn’t need and didn’t sell me some that I did need! So trying to give these people another chance to do the right thing.... what do they do but black list me and lock my account because of my bad review! Ha don’t worry though guys I got the parts I needed from Summit Racing! A company with real customer service! And the parts came the next day! Wow CPP! You guys truly are terrible! They dont have a problem selling you parts, but when it comes without hardware and instructions its very disappointing. You call for help and information on the issue and they never get back to you. Customer service is missing from this company. If you get a person named Caesar, well youll never get a call back or any further help from him at all.I will never use or buy another Classic Performance Product ever againworst customer service Ive ever seen in my 57 years on this planet!

I only gave one star because zero wasn’t an option. Placed an order on 6/4/20. The eta was 6/11/20.......laughable. I have contacted them a number of times to get an eta. Got a different excuse every time. It’s now the 26th, and I still don’t have my order. I have no idea whether or not the order has even shipped yet. Very frustrating. Wish I had spent my money somewhere else.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a rear disk brake conversion kit from this place. They gave me the wrong brackets to install the kit. (Their fault) I call in it takes 2 days before they can figure out what to do. They come up with the plan to replace the brackets but I have to buy the right brackets and they will refund me after they check my brackets. 15 days later still no refund. Im letting my bank handle it now. Im tired of dealing with this place. NEVER AGAIN

I really dont like to leave bad reviews but I also feel like I need to warn people so they dont fall in the same trap I have. I purchased a stage IV pro touring kit for my 1965 Skylark about a year ago and its been a very disappointing experience particularly in the customer service department.First and foremost we drove to the Placentia show room to place our order so we wouldnt miss anything and so we can see the place. I asked for everything needed and made it clear that we had drum brakes and a single cylinder master cylinder so we would need absolutely everything for the front and rear suspension and brakes. when we got the order the spindles werent included, so back to Placentia we went and it turns out they apparently theyre not included in the complete kit so we had to throw down more money to make things more frustrating.Next we get to the installation. The instructions are pretty much useless and some parts didnt even have instructions in the box. Their website isnt much help either, although you might get lucky depending on your application, but dont expect quality videos, instructions or tutorials because you wont find them. Then we start inspecting everything and we find that one of the allen head bolts on the upper control arm is deformed and cracked and somehow passed the QC process apparently. We were stretched for time so I installed a new one myself and moved on.So far everything can be forgiven (after all they are cheaper than some of their competitors and that does have to count for something) but that brings me to the rear brakes. Im finally done with the car and the last thing I need is to install the rear brakes. Once I get to shimming the brakes using their Ford 9inch bracket kit I quickly realize Im missing some shims. Now listen, Im a reasonable person and its taken me a year to finish this car, I understand personal responsibility, so Im not going to accuse them of shorting me shims. It is possible I lost them at some point or maybe the kit was missing them, but I cant say for sure and Im not going to accuse someone unless Im 100%. So we email and then call to ask for help and Im willing to pay for them or whatever it takes. At first were told thats no problem and they can help but then were told to hold. When the rep returns now we cant get just the shims and we have to buy a complete kit for $129.00. Fine, maybe not preferable, but fine. Then were informed that that some of the parts are on backorder to complete the entire kit (most we dont need) so were going to have to wait. Next I get a response to my original email saying I see we have a quote for the entire bracket kit and asking if thats what I needed or did I only need the shims. I respond and tell them I really only need the shims and time was of the essence so anything they can do would be appreciated. That was 7 days ago and Im still waiting for a reply.Lastly we get to the rear sway bar kit. In the instructions it starts by telling you that you need to install the billet bracket. Well, mine is definitely not billet, its a u-bolt and and mild steel bracket that looks nothing like the pictures. To make things worse the bar and brackets wont fit my Quick Performance 9 inch because the housing ends are too long where the tubes are welded to the housing. So I guess Im going without a rear bar...The moral of the story is spend the extra money and go with QA1, UMI or Wilwood. Trust me youll regret it if you dont and youll be $5k in the hole and have a car stuck on jack stands...

Placed a phone order on may 9th 2020, its now June 23rd 2020. 7 weeks later, Still havent recieved my order. Save yourself the headache and order somewhere else. Everything about this company makes me never want to do business again. Horrible customer service, long backorder waits, innacurate shipping times, wrong information given. *update* fuel pump sending unit was installed for efi tank conversion in my 67 mustang, went to start the car for the 1st time and the brass housing for the sending unit is leaking and spraying fuel everywhere. This is not coming from the lines, nor my AN fittings. Very frustrating. Ive left voicemails for information on a warranty swap and no call back. Im not sure if these parts get checked for quality control, but this is a horrible quality part.

So once again cpp let me down got new stock replacement front brake calipers, pad, rotors, bearings. An they squeal due to low quality sloppy brake pads some oReillys brand pads fixed it. It seems like every time I shop there somthing is wrong. With my steering coupler/rag joint wrong size, swaybar with no hardware, wrong inner and outer tie rod ends kit. The bump stops on there tubular control arms is broken not even 100miles. It would be nice if they spent the same time and quality they put in there show room too there products an customer service. Will NOT waist my time there ever again.

IT BY FAR HAS BEEN THE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! The customer service is horrible, cant get call backs from sales associates or the manager. They sent me the wrong parts and held the correct ones till they saw movement in return shipment. I had to call and tell them it was in transit, three days after item was shipped back. I also had to call manufacturer to get details about my correct order since no return phone calls. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CPP AGAIN AND TELL EVERYONE I TALK TO ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE.

They screwed me on a set of Viking shocks. They would never admit that they sent me the wrong ones. Then they wanted to return them for a fraction of the price cuz they said they used. Ordered parts in November and some were on back order. Its January and called on back ordered parts. They are in but they cant send them cause they are doing inventory. They seem to not care about customer service. My project is delayed two months now. They dont even know how much to charge you due to shipping. They send you a PayPal payment request after they have them ready to ship. Waste your time with the way they do businessHello CPP! Its 2019 we have lots of tech now why not use it? The rest of the world does. Im done!

Bought the big brake kit for 87 c10 and nothing but problems. Customer service was terrible, typical we do nothing wrong it must be the customer and shops he took it to. Never called to check in knowing we have had problems for Months. After trying and trying to make it work i finally wrote them and said how disappointed i was. Then all the sudden they have a top mechanic that can help, where was he when i called and emailed months before giving up. I will never buy from them and will advise anyone i talk to do the same.Most important thing is customer service and they have none. I spent my hard earned 2000 on the kit alone, another 1000 on different shops and now i have to buy a new wilwood kit. They dont care as long as they get your money.

Very disappointed with the customer service we have received. Customer brought us a Cadillac brake booster/MC kit to install, it was missing the brackets (which make the kit specific to the Caddy). No problem, there was a shop that attempted to mount this kit previous to us, so they were probably lost in the shuffle. We call to order the brackets. On the phone in the middle of describing the issue I was cut off by the rep and put on hold, again. Then I finally get to explain our issue, he says ok we can sell you those brackets. Ok, good, we are getting somewhere. He then informs me that he cant ship the product to our physical address. What? Our shop has a different mailing address than shipping address, they wont ship to our shop. I have not dealt with a single supplier in 10 years of business that refused to ship to our shop address. Good thing MBM is literally in our backyard, we wont be doing any business with CPP in the future, and we will certainly be steering our customers away from them as well.

Dont use this company,customer service is non existent,had a question to ask about a set of control arms I ordered and whe I called got placed on hold for 30 minutes just to get hung up on,called 2 more times to get hung up on,then next time automated system answered leave a message,then all space was full,Im returning their $750 Control arms and going with hotchkis control arms which are proven and great customer service and well worth a couple extra bucks

We purchased their show stopper brake kit for over $1000. The master cylinder and proportioning valve were both damaged where the flares connected and would not stop leaking. After removing the parts we found that the products were flawed which they agreed with. They shipped us new parts but we still had the hassle of a double install and a car that did not run for weeks due to this.What happened next was worse!After the system was reinstalled and on a test drive the optional brake light switch that is on the proportioning valve blew out! This switch has a brass threaded fitting but the insert is plastic and not secured in any way. Not only did we not have any brakes but the brake fluid sprayed out and ruined all the engine compartment!We were shaken and extremely upset. We could have been killed or wrecked the car.I called them immediately and thought they were understanding of all we had been through.After numerous phone calls, emails and pictures back and forth with the manager James for over a week we were expecting to be reimbursed for all the damage, time and expense.But we were not!This company then tried to call us liars, even after we supplied them with all the evidence!Their behavior was despicable and this company has no ethics!

If you deal with these people you will not receive your parts in any reasonable time. They will tell you 7 days, then10 days then they are sorry it will be there soon. When you finally receive their product it doesn’t matchup and the you have to go through the whole process again, even though they tell you they will be sending it right out. Still waiting for the parts.THEY DON’T DO WHAT THEY SAY.I live 300 miles away. I should have driven down and bought it over the counter where I could have checked for the right parts. It has been close to 4 weeks my cars been on jacks.Stan

I ordered a set of Viking front coil over shocks for a 1973 Camaro and was sent one 1967 and 1973 shock. The shocks were sent in two separate boxes that did not indicate a make and model indicating which is which. The shocks are physically similar with the 1967 shock being about 1/2 inch shorter that was not evident until after installation.I returned the incorrect shock and CPP refused to replace it because of a small scratch on the housing of the shock. I didnt take pictures before sending the shock and was not aware of any scratch to the shock so I could not refute that this might have happened while sending the shock back. I paid $425 for both shocks, springs, and hardware and CPPs proposed solution was for send the correct shock for $170, essentially full price.I proposed splitting the difference at $85 because I do not see why I should have to buy a new shock because they sent the incorrect part which was impossible for me to know until after installation. Despite being a repeat customer and having spent over $4500 with them year they have left me with a set of shocks I cannot use.Their customer service is argumentative, I was left on hold for 30 minutes, and repeatedly lied to by rep. Danny Castillo. I spent 2 months trying to get the correct coil over sent so I could remove my Camaro off the jack stands. Eventually I had to settle for having them send the incorrect shock back and pursue my claim with my credit card company.Avoid CPP at all cost. CPP is your best friend during sales and a complete nightmare if you have problems. When you purchase from CPP, whether they send you the correct part or not, you will own it. They will not back up any of their promises, accuse you of damaging a return, and not respond to emails or voice messages. I have found out first hand that they make their money by unethical business practices. CPP has many 1 star reviews here. Don’t be fooled by these 5 star “customers”.

Save yourself alot of time and hassle buy from someplace else. Orderd big brake kit said instock 45 days later it shows but now is missing booster for master cylinder. When I order the kit they said it came with but now it does not for only 139 more dollars they will send it out but is not in stock so it will be at least 2 months. Tech support is a joke the only thing they do well is put you on hold. Oh ya most of these parts come from CHINA cpp is a joke.
