Super disappointed by the lack of care for others. Ive purchased art supplies here several times before and always have had little issues here and there but the shop is local so I want to support.This weekend I called Asel Art in Plano and specified that I needed 8foot or taller foam core and they assured me they had plenty. Since I dont own a pickup truck or van, I rent one to specifically to come pick up black foam core. I asked the woman who answered to please double check before I spent money to rent a truck and come get it. She put me on hold and when she came back said there was plenty. Not 2 hours later I am there with the truck and they dont have it. She never checked.There was absolutely no regard from her or management for my time, or inconvenience. The last few times Ive been in the customer service has been pretty bad, but this time it wasnt just the lack of expertise it was the total rudeness and disregard for my time. I was floored to see how little they care about customers now. A HUGE waste of time and money - Save yourself the headache and order online instead.

Came in today right at open - all the staff members were very welcoming and nice. Nice selection despite the manufacturing issues some art suppliers are experiencing, there was clear signage for out of stock items and plenty of alternatives.Will come back when were in the area again because of the staff!

Holy cow, why have I never gone into one of these stores before? Excellent selection of art supplies ranging from painting and drawing to a small selection of pottery tools. Good sale on paintbrushes right now. The clerk that helped me today was super friendly and sweet. I will return for more supplies.

The owners and staff are always wonderful and helpful. Im a artist so I spend a decent amount here. Theyre so reliable to find more obscure products I may need as well always having new and fun products. 10/10 do reccomend!

Always nice staff and great customer service. It feels kinda of home-y and the environment is rather welcoming. I always go to get new sketch books and refills on led and erasers. Such a great store thats filled with many different materials for different artists and knowledgeable staff that can help you under figure out what you need.

Not convenient or close for me to get to, but worth the occasional trip.. again from where I live.. you may be closer. They carry a wide variety of artist supplies and i found pricing reasonable on all the brands. Very nice and helpful employees too. Enjoyed my shopping experience.

Great store with a wide selection. Came here to get a premade art packet for my drawing 1 class and unlike what another reviewer said all of the items were present and new. I remade the entire packet with the cheapest items I could find online and it was still more expensive than this store. Really happy they had everything I needed.

The experienced staff is worth its weight in gold. This store is an island in a sea of big box supply chains. Their inventory of golden acrylics, Windsor Newton gouache, pastel high quality choices and huge selection of paintbrushes will be the reason I wont ever go back to Michaels for paint again.

The staff were uneducated or at the very least uninterested in helping me. When inquiring about the prices of stretched canvas the employee informed me that there was a sheet with price listings but he would just scan the particular one I was holding. After obtaining the price he asked if I wanted to purchase it, I did not but would rather be shown where the price sheet was, so I could shop by myself. The man ignored my request and said its over there . Even while doing something else while Im in the section, he couldnt take the time to show me the sheet. I found it eventually but by that point I had enough of the store and its uninviting atmosphere, not something one expects walking into an art supply store.

Prices are reasonable sometimes a little high but they have many items that you just cannot find anywhere else

Bought a class bundle for my art class. If I hadnt of checked it would have been missing stuff and received some wrong stuff. The staff seemed like they rather talk to each other than help. Lastly very expensive but has some cool stuff.
