This is a nice Michaels! You has a nice selection of lots of stuff and its a bigger store. It is well-stocked and I enjoyed my time here. I would definitely come here again when Im in the area. Definitely better than the other craft store across the street, and everyone is really helpful here.

This is my go-to store for all arts and crafts supplies. The store is organized well and its easy to find stuff.

Recently had a custom framing job done when Michaels was offering a 50% off special for the holidays. Selecting a frame was really easy because the staff were knowledgeable and gave me lots of options. I was given a specific date that the job would be complete, so the day before that I called to check on it. Whoever answered the phone in that department has horrible phone manners. He looked up my order but then for whatever reason couldnt tell me anything about my order and rushed me off the phone saying he didnt have any information, and hed have to call me back. He never did.On the date the order was to be ready, I called again to see if I could pick it up. Whoever answered the phone in that department hung up on me (accidentally.) I called back and was told that the wrong size frame had been ordered, and theyd have to reorder it. My new pick up date was now 4 days later. The following day, though, I got a call saying it was ready. The frame is beautiful, and I love the work that was done.Maybe it was just a very busy holiday season, but I really felt like the customer service over the phone was especially lacking. Im hesitant to use them again, but they did do very pretty work. The price was reasonable with the 50% off sale.

I get lost in this place everytime I go. HahaAnd everytime, the employees happily save the day. Excellent customer service, wonderful selection.

Had to return something recently and had used a voucher that expired unfortunately(which turns out I would have lost out on that reward and not got my money back), the manager at this location-James- was amazing and not only was patient and professional, but also took the time to try and solve the problem and let me use the voucher. Thank you James!

The store had what I was looking for. The folks working there were helpful. I purchased a bead organizer to use for my small drip irrigation pieces. The separate compartments had rounded bottoms to make it easier to get the parts out.

Great place to buy arts and crafts stuff. They have good prices and always have some kind of coupon available. If you are a member in their rewards program (not credit card), uou get a 40% off coupon usable for each week for one item. I bought candy molds from them and it was really a steal. Other christmas decorative items as well are great!

Michaels has the unique items I need for my DIY projects. Their store sales are ok, could be better.

Ugh... Everyone in Plano must be crafting right now because certain shelves were completely bare. Most everything I went in for was out of stock. When I went to check out with the items I did find, the young lady at the check out did not ask if I found everything I had come in for. She knew.

I have always had good luck with framing things here. They are way over priced but have done a good job and were actually pretty good at helping pick the perfect mix of frame and mats. This visit was not even close the guy in there had zero taste or idea how to put things together. All I know is his suggestions were laughable. He seemed a bit put off that I chose discounted frame that was exactly what I described looking for and tried hard to upgrade me to a fancy glass for a simple little poster framing project. Even with 75% off the price was higher than what I have paid other places. In future I will use the art supply store down the road. I dont mind paying for quality but that wasnt what was being offered on that day.

Was nice to be in Michaels been a long time saw a lot of nice Christmas decorations got a few for myself... man I tell you this is the best time of the Year to shop till you drop 😍

I hope this business is around as we move past 2020. We visited on a normal weekday and there were less than 10 customers inside. The checkout process was a little cumbersome as a single cashier was assisting the 3 or so people waiting in line. I would like to see a bit more concern for those people who are actually making purchases. I saw several employees doing other things not related to checkout but again there was only one cashier checking out customers.

They got my curbside order done quickly and efficiently with perfect instructions

There staff are usually really friendly here. They sometimes run out of stock of certain items and often theres not enough employees on the floor to find help from and ask if theres more stock in the back. Theyve got a fabric selection, but its very limited compared to other craft stores. Parking is really easy for this location.

Love Michaels and this is my favorite one for yarn! Always have a few yarn on clearance and amazing selection for yarn!

It was a sale and crowded but everyone shopping is friendly even with carts full. It wasnt a mess which is normally a case in a sale.Check out was fast, the employee even made sure I got my discounts.They have clear walls for protection on covid.

HEy!!! What happened to the coupons that were 40% off for one regular priced item? They quietly snuck the coupons to 20% off 1 item now!!! Im not leaving the house for 20% off..that does NOT excite me! Does Micheals not know its easier to shop on line for better prices..as long as you can wait one day to get it. Geeez.. I will miss those 40% coupons. They should have consulted me BEFORE they made the change....

My wife makes me go to this store occasionally when she needs crafting supplies. Im fine for the first five or ten minutes, but then I get this terrible sense of being overwhelmed and out of place as my wife finds project after project that shed like to complete. That stated, the store is very clean and well organized. They have model rockets and cars that I used to assemble when I was a kid. I suppose this is a great place if you are into crafting... just dont make your husband come with you. ;-)

They watched me like i was a thief. Had a hard time finding stuff.

Peg was by far the rudest employee I’ve come across in a while. I asked if my coupon would work and she rudely replied “no!” And scanned it anyways and said “I told you it wouldn’t” while she was getting rude on the head piece asking “is anyone going to answer me?!” And shaking her head the whole time. If she is your cashier then be prepared to have an attitude. Me and my boyfriend were shocked while walking out of the store. Ridiculous.

I love shopping here. They have a huge variety of a lot of stuff. Great place to go if you are doing crafts, need something framed or sized, great place to go for every Holiday decor. Huge place with great customer service. They have good hours and do all they can to have items ready such as framing things, designing something you asked etc. I go here a lot and will continue to do so. Highly recommended. A++++

The place is always very clean but the staff never wants to help me find things... they will call out a aisle number or simply say they dont know. If you arent too busy facing maybe lead me there ? But the staff is all very young so... at least its organized.

Absolutely love this store

Didnt have bamboo that they showed in inventory. It was maddening going to four different Michaels to find one that did. One store had the bamboo polls I was looking for but they were all cracked. Another had only one and it was cracked but their POS said 14. The staff was helpful, but come on guys I spent two hours trying to find something that should have taken 12 minutes.

Not the best customer service in the middle of the work day. Asked a few simple questions on the return policy & old lady Jo Anne at the register was just short with me & defensive. I felt bad just asking questions. I shouldnt have to feel like that as a customer.Ive been here before at night, & their young night team is way more helpful and kind.

I love this location! The staff is excellent! The managers rock! Maybe its because its near Carrollton and good people live there, but every time I come in, I am overwhelmed with nice people and friendly customers. Definitely worth shopping!UPDATE: As of February 2019, they are currently in the works of offering fabric-by-the-yard at the location. It is a test they are doing for ALL the local Michaels stores; if it does well, you will find fabric by the yard at all locations someday.

I recently started crafting again and was unsure of where to go for suoplies. After a quick Google search, I decided to stop by Michaels first since it was the closest craft store, but I was not disappointed. Ive gone a handful of times and never leave empty handed. They have whatever I am looking for in stock...and have great deals! I love the sales they have as well as the 40% off one item coupon they constantly have in rotation. Lastly, their employees are nice and friendly. Overall, I have a five star experience and will continue to frequent this location for any of my crafting needs.

Very low on stock on everything but plastic flowers, craft paint aisles were empty. Expensive, dont have great discount coupons.

Lots of things to decorate your home for any season. They have good sales too. Just got a whole bunch of Christmas stuff and cant wait to put them up in the house.

Placed an online order that showed as in stock online. Went to go pick up the order 2 hours after placing it. I was literally told they didnt have the product and that they had shipment in the back but couldnt reach the product in the back to look for what I ordered. So they offered no help because they said the online order doesnt not transfer stores with the available product in stock! Then they cancelled the order and said I should receive the funds back on my card but the funds have not come back to my card. So at the end of the day I wasted money and time to go to a store which does not have stock organized enough to fulfill online orders and had no solution to fulfilling my order. Extremely disappointed. Ive ordered online pick up in store and not had issues in the past but wont be doing this again with no receipt or record provided to show my card was actually refunded seems very shady.

Good place for all your craft needs.Last time I was there got me a charcoal sketch book with sets of charcoal pencil.They also do custom framing.

I like this location. The staff are usually friendly. I really like the guys that work the framing counter. They will cut a piece of glass for frame in the dementions you desire. They always have sales throughout the store. This is not just a crafts place. You can buy Many other things (see pictures). When I visited today I was sad to learn they recently did away with their photo kiosk. It was the cheapest place in town I found to print photos from your phone or other storage device.

Amy was so helpful in guiding me through a need for a specific item. She really took the time to walk me through the Michaels APP and how to search other stores for my itemI am thankful!

I love the deals that they always have. You can buy very expensive frames for half or even less than half the price. I suggest signing up for their emails and youll stay well informed on specials.

Spring sale on plants and frames. Found plenty of Easter items to brighten up our living room.Fun place to spend time with spouse on the weekend for an hour.

Went to check out yarn and to buy a Size J Boye crochet hook! Did not find the hook, very few in stock and no Size J. Cant remember if they sell Boye or not. More Knitting Needles and Knitting supplies than Crochet. Many varieties of yarn, but seems expensive compared to other local yarn retailers in the area. I like their jewelry aisle. Lots to choose from. While the store seemingly has something for every craft, I find the store a bit cluttered. Assistants are not easily accessible, you have to locate them, which is inconvenient if you are in a hurry.

They have a better than average selection of Bullet Journal accessories. I also found some really pretty sketch books.
