Andreas did a phenomenal job at altering my wedding dress. My dress needed quite a bit of work as it was too low/revealing in the front and back, but Andreas was able to give me exactly what I wanted. They closed up the front and built up the back with a beautiful design. In addition to their amazing work, throughout the whole process they were so flexible and accommodating. A brides schedule is insane especially in the months before the wedding and they always tried to work with me. On top of all this, I brought them my dress in January and they had it all ready to go by May. Amazing place, highly recommend them!!

I appreciate this business for literally recreating the entire dress. I am a masculine presenting woman who never wears women clothing, but for a best friend’s wedding I decided to. The original bridal store (not this store) measured me and told me what size dress to have made for the wedding. Apparently, they did not make the correct size and thanks to Andrea’s Bridal Alterations they were able to completely redo the dress to wear I felt more comfortable wearing it. Thank you so much!

Andreas Bridal Alterations literally saved me!!! I took my wedding dress to a different seamstress who destroyed my dress and I didnt think it could be fixed. I brought it to Andreas at the last minute and they were not only able to fix it but they went above and beyond to make sure my dress was absolutely perfect for my big day. They did everything: fixed the errors made by the previous seamstress, added lifting cups to the top of the dress, made a custom bustle for me, took it in even though it was difficult fabric so it fit me like a glove, and steamed my gown so its ready to go for my big day. Dont make the same mistake I did. Take your dress to Andreas the first time around and they will absolutely take care of you and make it perfect.

Beware- the website says if you continue your alterations with Andrea’s Bridal, they will use your $50 initial consultation deposit toward your alterations. However, the lady assisting me told me that was not entirely correct. I wanted to go home and discuss with my mom before giving them my dress to alter. I paid my $50 willingly and assumed it would be deducted from my total alterations when I come back to move forward with the process. When I asked to clarify, she told me if I don’t hand my dress over to them immediately during my first consultation, then I don’t get my $50 towards the dress even if I decide to go with them later. (See my screenshot from their website below that never mentions that caveat) One good thing- I appreciate they were able to get me in on a short notice for an initial consultation. Unfortunately, I did not feel the person assisting me was hospitable. She almost never offered to help me carry, unpack, or repack my huge wedding dress and made me feel pressured to make a $600+ decision instantly. If you want an amazing experience of hospitality and excellent craftsmanship, I recommend Gowns of Grace in Farmer’s Branch. You can have consultations for FREE and they treat you with the highest respect throughout the whole process.

I had the absolute best wedding alterations experience ever. It is one of my favorite wedding memories! I had 2 trials and each time my dress looked so great especially since it was way too many sizes too big. The day before we were leaving to Colorado for our wedding, I decided I wanted to tweak one thing. I texted them, they got me in for an appointment 30 minutes later, and within 30 minutes they adjusted it!! I was so amazed that they bent over backwards to make the dress exactly how I wanted it. They altered my dress to fit perfectly and it looked amazing. The entire staff is so sweet and took very good care of me for these last few months. My wedding was supposed to be in May and they never skipped a beat with continuing my dress alterations, even though I didnt need them nearly as soon anymore. My dress came out TO DIE FOR! This place is great! The were able to get my wifes dress altered within a day. Even though they were closed they still work d within our timeframe of getting married. Id give them an extra star if I could.

I HIGHLY recommend Andrea’s Bridal Alterations! I called them because I needed to get my dress bustled. I spoke with them and they got me in ASAP. You are greeted by Adriana at the front who is the absolute sweetest! She also facilitates the appointments and is extremely knowledgeable! I wanted a super simple bustle with as few bustles as possible. They got the job done with three!! These three were able to pin up both layers of the dress in a beautiful way. Not to mention they worked with me to get the dress done ASAP with a possible move ahead for us and the uncertainty of COVID. They were clean, friendly and fast! They went above and beyond my expectations!

I appreciate this place and what they did for me. They didn’t have to do much to my dress- added a bustle and raised the hem. But they added a heart made out of my dads shirt. He recently passed away. It came out better than I initially imagined. When I saw it and started crying, the sweet young lady just held me for a minute and reassured me it will all be ok. The bustle looked fine to me but the tailor wasn’t happy with it and re-did it while I waited. They are so sweet and genuine. You can’t go wrong coming here!I don’t know much about cost for alterations, so I won’t comment on that. I paid $308 for a 2inch hem and traditional bustle. They didn’t charge for the heart.

I bought a wedding dress off the rack which was quite a few sizes too large. Andreas was recommended by the bridal shop and I was SO pleased with them! This is a small family operation and they are the sweetest ladies to deal with. The pricing is fair and they do great work very quickly. I got married in February and brought them my dress the end of October, they had it ready with a few weeks to spare.

I can not recommend this business enough if you need your wedding gown altered!!! They did an amazing job altering my dress and it fits perfectly and looks amazing. They even repaired the beading trim on the flutter sleeves I had added onto the dress. I can not wait to wear my dress at my beach wedding. Thank you!!!!

I had a great experience with these ladies. I needed my wedding dress to be altered quickly and I was recommended them because of their ability to accommodate my timeline. They listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. I needed it to be done in 3 weeks and it was finished right on time. They were very lovely and made me feel comfortable the whole time.

I only had one month until my wedding day, and decided to come here based on their great reviews. My dress was from a consignment store and needed to be shortened and steamed. They offered both services in a timely manner. I had three appointments, all to make sure I was happy with the length and not tripping over it. It’s a small Hispanic-owned business, but you can see they care for what they do, and only put out perfection.

Everyone at Andrea’s Bridal Alterations is super nice and friendly. They made my dress fit perfectly to my body and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They’re super talented. Andrea’s Bridal Alterations is absolutely amazing!! It was a couple weeks out before my wedding and I didn’t think I’d find anywhere to do my alterations in time. They were able to alter my dress so fast and with beautiful, precise work! On top of that, they worked on one of my bridesmaids dress, my mother, and grandma in law dresses as well! My best friend stopped by Andreas after having a very unpleasant experience at another alteration shop. She visited Andreas and immediately experienced a warmth and friendliness that was missing from the other establishment and knew Andreas was the way to go. Her choice was further validated each subsequent visit as the women of Andreas continued to welcome her and make her feel so pretty and so special, which is how a bride wants to feel. Additionally their quality of work is amazing. It seems as though the measurements they took were near exact, and they were very patient and accommodating to any requests that we made. When we got to the last alteration and celebrated the fit, they celebrated with us...not because the work was done but because they were equally happy and shared in the excitement that my friend had. During that experience, Andreas became a part of our extended family and we will definitely use them for future events, for sure.

I want to give my honest opinions on this location so this might be long but it’s 100% the truth. I was referred to Andreas from the boutique in which I bought my dress from. The dress itself was a mermaid style dress, however it wasn’t hugging my curves the way I wanted it to. The top of the dress was lace and the bottom was satin with a lace train. The first day, I was welcomed so openly and they made me feel so confident about my dress; however it was just a tad bit over my budget which made me hesitant. I voiced my concerns and they were so open about working with me and ensuring I got what I wanted from the alterations while staying on budget. So after that I had two more appointments. That’s right; a total of 3 appointments and each one no more than 20 minutes.(keep in mind I didn’t take my dress to them till July and the wedding was a month away) I was able to tell them what I wanted but I had so much trust in them that I just let them do there thang and WOW! My dress exceeded my expectations; it hugged every curve and the added sleeves made it so modest. I was in complete awe and all thanks to Andreas bridal alterations. I don’t think anyone could’ve done what they did for my dress with my budget. Everyone who works there is so welcoming and kind. I HIGHLY recommend them to any bride or just anyone really!

I chose Andreas because when I was calling around and finding pricing and timing, they fit the best. I was having a hard time getting an appointment at any other bridal alterations place that didnt require a base fee for them to even look at my wedding dress. Andreas Bridal Alterations got me in quickly and and they are reasonably priced and their work is impeccable. My dress had lace, pearls and beadwork and they had to take it in at the most intricate parts of the decoration and you wouldnt even know that they altered it. This alterations shop is simply the best! I was referred to them from Brilliant Bridal, where I purchased my wedding dress. I didnt need a lot of alterations on my dress and I was worried it was going to be so expensive, knowing that bridal alterations are usually really expensive. The final cost was so incredibly reasonable and the work was completed to perfection. All of the ladies at the shop are so wonderful. I was greeted so warmly and they wanted to hear all about my wedding. I cant say enough wonderful things about this shop. I am having a very small wedding and a larger reception in August. I am taking by dress back to be shortened for my August party and have already called to make an appointment!

After looking up so many bridal alteration shops, I’m so glad I found Andrea’s in Plano. The customer service was excellent and the pricing was reasonable. All of the ladies were so nice and made sure my dress was perfect. They did an excellent job on my Pronovias gown and I was able to have it ready in just three weeks!!! I am recommending this place to anyone looking to get alterations not only on wedding gowns but any type of clothing. I can’t say enough good things! Andreas did an amazing job getting me into my dress and quickly. My original dress I had purchased was much too large and the second one I got was too small and would not zip up. They changed the button back to corset that was absolutely beautiful.

Had my bridal dress alterations done here. They did great work and were able to take me in when I was desperately looking for somewhere to take my dress. They were very accommodating and I was so relieved when they said they could do the alterations I needed. Very different attitude than with other bridal alteration shops that make it seem impossible to do alterations on a dress. They made it really simple to get my alterations done and I am very thankful for that.

I was pretty bummed with my first wedding dress alterations experience with a different company, but after meeting with Andreas, all of my worries were taken away. They were so easy to work with- fit me right into their schedule immediately and delivered my alterations request with 1 month of my wedding. When I brought my dress in, they immediately knew how to fix it, even when I couldnt explain what was wrong with it and they did such a wonderful job! I was very specific about what I wanted done to my dress and they didn’t deliver. They couldn’t do what I asked, but didn’t call to tell me about the problem. They did what they wanted. I also told them to have them double check my fit bc it was too big, but they didn’t listen or care. So my dress is still big. It was a very rushed service I just smiled, paid my money and left. Very sad.
