Great people! So thankful for all they’re doing for the Plano community. May God bless them and their families ❤️
Not a thrift store just a food pantry. The employees were rather rude about me asking if it was a thrift store. When I said that Google maps shows its named food pantry & THRIFT store they said they use to be but not anymore. A lady did point me in the right direction to another thrift store. Only reason for the 3☆ is because it says its a thrift store when its not.
Ive been blessed by Christian Food Pantry on three occasios. At each visit I was greeted by very friendly volunteers. There are many volunteers who are there eagerly to assist and the wait time is in and out. On the first visit, a picture I.D. and proof of residency is required. Each time I left there with MANY fresh vegetables, eggs, bread, dinner and sausage meats, and staples. In fact, I am going there today in need. Im quite sure this visit will be no different. I suggest whenever you are in need of food, come here. I believe that you will be pleased, satisfied and grateful.
I took this morning a friend of mine to the Pantry. There was a lot of cars and there was a black female in her late 50s shouting and yelling, she was being very mean. when i finally was able to understand what she was saying without the negative attitude i parked at the drive thrue area and when she looked at me said: get out of the car get your box, horrible tone, my friend said dude shes talking to us like we are nothing. all i could think of maybe she was having a bad day or hates what shes does! I will make sure to never recommend no one to this place!
Dropped Food and Clothing off. Was impressed with the amount of food I saw people walking away with. I had limited interaction so there is not a lot to base my rating on. A request was made for Jelly for kids and will definitely return to donate that and the gentleman was pleasant. Awesome to see that people in the neighborhood get assistance. Kudos to all that were there giving their time.
Well organized, friendly volunteers. Primarily grocery surplus that always includes some pantry staples, fresh fruits & vegetables, and meat (which I dont eat). Different selection every week, so coming home to plan menus is always an adventure. Cause if weve found ourselves in this situation, we need more adventures... right? {Eyeroll} Sarcasm aside, they really are a blessing to the community. Godspeed CFP!
Lovely and hard working volunteers. Food is fresh and maintained. Need more volunteers to help.
DONT RECOMMEND!! From the moment i called to the time i arrived at a different place, not the right address and til finally arriving, i had a bad experience. First, the rude and disrespectful person who pick up the phone all the way to the black lady late 50s who was volunteering (YELLING AND SCREAMING IN A MEAN WAY FOR NO REASON). Free food doesnt always have to come along with bad service and negativity if you enjoy to help. Not only that, what they gave me was unacceptable, a open package of chicken breast with no date of expiration, salad bowl of 4 days old, almost rotten tomatoes! really?
Wonderful place with wonderful people. Very giving and kind. Interacting with the community in a big way. God Bless.
They are all disgusting in that place thickening by the owner and then all the food they give away for free is all rotten from years I do not recommend this ugly place
It is indeed a Christian Food Pantry where every one is welcome and attend to equally without discrimination as to color, race, religion, social status. There is decorum as well
Such a lovely place!! They need an upgrade! Such friendly and polite volunteers, fresh food. A bit crowded and not easy to find the entrance. Needs air conditioning
Dont volunteer here unless you absolutely have to. This place is good for people in need but volunteers ( especially kids) are disrespected and mistreated. A lot of people here are nice and helpful but some people in charge take it too far with volunteers here.
I just won’t be returning not worth the disrespect
Wonderful non-profit. The volunteers are sweet and helpful.
Dont bother if youre disabled. The owner, Walt, stated that he will not serve anyone with a service dog, even when told to violates the ADA to discriminate against a disabled person in an area accessible to the public solely due to the existence of a service dog.
Its a Charity, to actually Help people in need. Always a five star in my book.
Great workers willing to help you.Plenty of food, fruits and vegetables.
Pleasant people. Good service
Im wanting to volunteer now good organization
Good people, Walter and his great people who are there to help you with anything they can
Always sweet and kind. If your in need this is the place to go
Very unfriendly staff, crowded, and unorganized but helpful if you fall on bad times like I happened to this month.
Please be polite to the volunteers, they work very hard
The owner is very rude to teen volunteers. Not a fun place to volunteer.
Great place to help people in need
Loving charity helping people with free food
Theyre Open Mon-Wed ( 10am-2pm) & Saturday ( 9am-1pm)
Nice people, and very helpful.
Kind and very helpful.
Friendly people. Not a lot of food.
They are so kind there!!
I hate to say that, but his place is closed and for good.
Great
A family food pantry

It makes me very sad to see how they make Hispanic people less, I go out of necessity and they give me almost nothing but their people fill their shopping carts there is a lot of favoritism among them and that does not seem fair to me because we all have a need for that. Come on, not only they should check them so that this does not continue to happen
They are very greasy goodbye people
Very good people
