Best outdoor fly fishing store!

I cannot stand liars. I ordered a sweater online. The email I clicked through included a 15% discount. I could either have it shipped for $12 or save the shipping by picking it up in the store. When the store called and said the sweater was in, I asked about the discount. They said bring the email and they would apply the discount. I made a 50 mile round trip for nothing because when I got there they refused to honor the discount. Dont lie to me! You lost a customer over not honoring a $12 discount. I called Orvis customer service and they honored the discount. This was my first and only dealing with the Plano, TX store. You only get one chance and you blew it.

The staff immediately asked me if there is anything they could help me with. In my case, yes! I reserved an item online and they had it ready! I dont like shopping whatsoever. Hence, the reason I online shop😁! However, the staff was very helpful and I was in and out with ease! Thx, Orvis, Plano, Texas!

Recently purchased an 8wt Recon rod from the guys at Orvis. It snapped on me after my first use. I went in to the store expecting to have to warranty it out, but was given a brand new rod on the spot. Staff is awesome and provides excellent customer service. Kegan (sorry for the spelling), Michael and Cody are amazing employees.

I drove 30 miles to pickup a belt that I had reserved. I arrived at the store a gentleman came forward to help me. I told him what I was doing and he went to look for my item. He returned and could not find it. He then asked the manager about my item. I showed her my reservation. She promptly stated, “Oh I looked for that and couldn’t find it and I told them to reject it.” I was not made aware of the rejection and she responded, “Well we don’t have it”. She turned and went about her work. No apology. Just complete apathy about the situation. I wasn’t going to say anything and then I thought if I don’t speak up then one of my favorite stores that prides itself on customer service will fall prey to complacency as have so many stores.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Directed me right where I needed to go and helped me locate the correct coupon.

Greeted and helped immediately. I knew why I was there so it was a short trip. Quick to help and make suggestions when what I wanted wasnt in stock.

I love this store and location. Ive been here many times and purchased everything from fly rods to clothing. Orvis never disappoints.

Came in looking for a 1wt or 2wt rod... After waiting for 15 mins to get someone to help me was treated like Im stupid for ask about the rod... Ended up getting the rods in southern California from Bob Marriott fly fishing store in Orange... This store need better train staff...
