Stopped in this morning and had the best experience! This cute little spot in Frisco is family owned and the donuts and kolaches are simply amazing. For a Saturday morning there was not much of a wait, and I was served quickly and everyone was so kind and offered recommendations. I got the seasonal ooh la la donut - completely worth every penny, and I love the flaky texture of these donuts, very similar to a croissant! You can tell they are a labor of love since they take 3 days to make. I also got two croissant kolaches (little pigs) for my husband and I to have for breakfast and we loved those as well. The balance between bread and sausage was perfect! I also snapped up a bag of glazed donut holes - also delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try more items and grab a coffee too!
First time here and I decided to get a classic glazed donut, the lemon wow donut, and the raspberry white chocolate mochi donut. In my opinion, they were all great. I believe a good donut shop should be able to make a good glazed, and this one was pretty good! Shipley’s is probably better on the glazed front but I’d get it from WOW again.I’ve never tried a mochi donut. It was light and only slightly chewier than a regular donut. I’d also get this again and try the other flavors. I’m trying to see if there is anywhere near my hometown that does these mochi donuts. The WOW donut was delightful. I was worried the filling would be too sweet but it was perfect with just a hint of lemon. They are very generous with the filling which I am a big fan of.All in all, I would definitely recommend. Hope I can come again.
If youre looking for somewhere to satisfy your donut cravings, look no further. They set the bar high, and have so many delightful options to choose from. I challenge you to resist trying them all! On top of the quality donuts, this is a family owned business, and I always feel so welcome every time I stop by. Unlike most donut shops in the area, they also have extended evening hours (for those late night cravings), so go grab yourself some delicious treats and support small and local at the same time!
This is a family owned business. They are such a sweet family that welcomed us as soon as we came walked in. I took my husband and son to Wow Donuts to celebrate Fathers Day and the owners allowed us to taste test their new potato donut and have gave us 2 free donuts. So delicious.. light, fluffy, melt in your mouth! Not only are the donuts fresh and delicious, they are well priced. I can’t wait to go back and support this local business.
Bought 1 of the rainbow donuts and 1 cinnamon sugar donut and it was over $10 for TWO DONUTS. The cinnamon sugar donut didn’t have any cinnamon on it and it tasted more like a biscuit. The employee was very nice but it’s just not my kind of donut shop. Plus they don’t even open until 8am. Couldn’t even get donuts for my kids before school.
Kiddos loved the donuts and the strawberry shortcake was awesome . Kinda bummed they ran out of the rainbow, but the vanilla and chocolate sprinkles were great. The two guys working the register seemed a bit confused, but had a good overall experience. Thank you
Easy to order online, hand delivered to my car, well crafted and hands down delicious. I picked these up to enjoy with my family, and no one was disappointed! We ended up cutting them in 4’s and sharing all the different fun flavors. I think in the end we were all so stuffed and there were still so many donuts left over! We ended up snacking on them for the rest of the day and wow, they were just above my expectations. The flavors were tasty. The donut pastry was fluffy. All in all I will be back here to order more donuts soon!Favorite flavors ended up being:•Lemon Drop•Elvis•Creme Brûlée•Cream Cheese with Blackberry Compote
I have been a loyal customer since WOW was located in Plano. Donuts are amazing !! I don’t mind the longer drive to the new location because the donuts are worth it. Service is always great and my donuts are always fresh .
Really great donuts!!! Blown away by the variety & cuteness & taste! My fave donut place now in the USA
Fancy cupcakes! The cupcakes look amazing and the pieces I tried today tasted great. Looking at them all laid out makes it hard to decide on a choice as they all look so appetizing. The coffee is good, bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking. There is also a wide variety of tea available. The staff was helpful and friendly. Minimal wait for complete order. Make sure to wear your “eating pants” when you visit as I’m sure you will be full by the time you leave.
Nice, clean place with friendly staff. But, the mochi/pastry was awful. Whatever type of chocolate was used as filling was not appetizing at all - it completely clashed with the chocolate used on top of the pastry.
Decadent and delicious! I love having them closer. I have been even known to get a donut delivery.
I wasn’t sure at first about these donuts because they are very unique. It turns house they are amazingly good! We will definitely be going back.
Best place for coffee, mochas, espresso - any s. Skip the lines at Starbucks, McDonalds, & Dunkin Donuts. Oh yeah, they sell donuts too!!
Very neat donut experience. Extravagant donuts made fresh to order. Almost edible art. Luxurious coffee and tea also. The donuts are a bit pricey, but they are excellent. I recommend this place just for the experience. There is a lot of seating and floor space. They make several batches of donuts throughout the day, so youll get fresh donuts freshly made whatever time you go in. They are open a good while too, longer than your average donut shop, which this place is not.The place is clean, well arranged, and the staff are very friendly. Will be returning!
Great spot for specialty donuts! Our favorite picks were the French toast and creme brûlée donuts!
Tried today, maple bacon and creme brulee. Outstanding. Mostly commenting though because I saw an earlier rating of one star and nasty comments because.....they required masks! OMG, how horrible and traumatic that must have been to wear a mask for 5 minutes as you ordered donuts. Hopefully youve recovered. Give me a break....
This neighborhood is not worthy of such a cool little donut shop. Loved my Oreo donut, and the taste I got of my friend’s honey-lavender miracle of a pastry was SO good. It’s highly instagrammable and the crew behind the counter was awesome. Definitely a good place to catch up with a friend or meet up with someone new. It was a little pricey, but the concept is so fun, it will be worth it for the occasional trip.
We went for the 1st time this weekend, EXCELLENT donut shop, gourmet, best donuts in Dallas. We got a half dozen, the mochi donuts were unreal good, especially the mango mochi, and the Oreo donut was great too. Cool designs, very designer too. A worker gave us a free donut too, it was a glazed but their own “special recipe” and it was amazing good. We will def be back, and we don’t even live close
First let me say this place is great! Family owned. Great donuts and amazing coffee. A real stand out.Secondly, to the guy with the one star review: You need to get over it. It’s Covid dude and businesses are struggling. Your one star review (which you placed simply because you were put off not because of the actual service or product) greatly effects the popularity of this place. So I just request that before you give one star you think about the fact that this is a small business that thrives on reviews. Thank you.
GROSS!! Small blueberry cake was super hard smelled gross and didn’t have any flavor. And there were gnats in the display case which is the same case my food came from did I say gross 🤮. Oh and the donut holes were also flavorless o and she only gave me 5 donut holes . It was suppose to be half dozenWasted$ 5 bucks . Couldn’t went to crumble
Not sure about other branches but the one in Frisco is too small and doesn’t have a dine in area. Donuts didn’t meet my expectations at all. It wasn’t fluffy or fresh at all. I was too excited about it but it failed my expectations.
Could have more cream in the donuts - 3.5 stars!!I got a 6 pack from them last Friday.. each donut is unique and very flavorful. Blueberry, Ebony/Ivory, KO by Chocolate, Tiramisu, Key Lime and Mint Chocolate. Two big issues for me - 1) Donut wasnt as soft as I would expect; 2) They were filled donuts but there was barely any cream. Dont get me wrong - the cream tasted fabulous.. but it wasnt much. My kids also complained about the same.
After I moved from Angola 10 years ago to my current home in North Carolina I have always dreamed of having the delicacy Americans call donuts. While North Carolina has duncking donuts and other donut places I had never had them. I had a friend who moved to Texas and said that he had been to this place once. After I heard that I got in my car and made the trip down to Frisco, Texas. When I arrived I was met with a studious worker named Trevar. He was incredibly helpful with picking out my FIRST donut ever. I could not believe the service he provided me. I would go down there just for that young mans service. Anyway the donuts were alright.
I love the unique variety of flavors they have, and some of the staff are pretty cute too ;)
Family owned business and everything was quite tasty. One customer strongly recommended cinnamon croissant donut and he was so right.
Wow, best donuts.Wild berry tea lemonade was so refreshing
Good golly miss molly. This place has some of the best donut creations Ive ever witnessed/tasted. Ive been twice so far and they did not disappoint me. The glazed donut thats under all of the goodness is pretty great. But the TOPPINGS...magnifique! The raspberry cheesecake and the lemon cake donuts are incredible.
Hours have been changing lately as they are just starting to reopen and adjust to a new schedule. Call ahead if you are driving in as they run out of donuts quickly as well. We arrived and they only had 1 type of donut left. Donut was good and would come back but would definitely call in an order to be sure.
The best customized donut place in Dallas. The donuts can be customized with whatever you want satisfy your craving. We ordered 4 customized donuts and everything was mind-blowing. The donuts with kitkat- Nutella and Marshmallow was simply our of the world . The red-velvet donuts with M and M and PB and J was also nice. The ambience was too good and clean. The staff working there was so kind and heard our customized order with lot of patience and serve it quickly. A must visit if you are in Dallas!! Amazing donut place on Earth!!Tip- Check-in in Yelp app to get a bag of donut holes for free!!
Good place for gourmet donuts! Service was excellent. The donuts are pretty & tasted good (fluffy & sweet). I’m not normally a donut person, but these were good imo. I went close to closing so they were out of a few flavors I wanted to try, but the quality in the remaining donuts was still basically there. Biscoff is my favorite! (Highly recommend this, even if biscoff isn’t normally a flavor you get). I also really liked the creme brûlée.
Not only the best tasting, but certainly the best looking donuts Ive ever eaten! This is a fairytale princess donut shop. Its so beautiful inside with 4 cases of increasingly intricate gourmet donuts. I dont know much about coffee, but there is gourmet coffee here as well. My daughter loved it. Definitely going to be back often. Great for family or a cute coffee date!
We will no longer go to this donut shop now that they are requiring ALL to wear a mask. Plenty of other donut shops out there.
What an amazing experience ! Very professional, clean, and luxurious. The staff is so friendly and explains everything. The strawberry shortcake, KitKat, and Reese’s donuts we got were sooo delicious. It is pricey but the experience is worth it. Didn’t have a chance to try the tea, but I will definitely be back.
First time in and it was so amazing! Coffee is good and you have to try their specialty donuts they’re awesome!
Amazing atmosphere, amazing taste, amazing customer service from the person taking the orders to the lady helping us clean after we spilled the coffee and the person replacing the spilled coffee with a smile and at no charge! I don’t have words to describe the excellent customer service we have received today! Will definitely be back!!!
Drove 20 minutes for donuts and the place is literally closed permanently, completely bare inside. Update your hours and location info let people know it’s closed. My kid was excited for the donuts
Great specialty donuts and good coffee
I came in today with my brothers since one of my brothers was craving donuts and I havent had coffee yet so why not combine the two and come check out this spot.It is a chill spot to come hang with their style of decor and neon signs that brings color to this modern aesthetic donut + coffee spot. The service was wonderful to the guy who took our order to his knowledge about the coffee maker that they used called a steampunk. You gotta check it out!We ordered the 1/2 dozen glazed donut that cost $5.00 + tax and they were made homemade and fluffy. If you are in the Plano area or near Willow Bend Mall, come check out WOW Donuts and Drips. 🍩☕
Cutest Casual Date Spot! Ive come here several times with my boyfriend, then with his mother, and later with my grandmother! Yes, even my grandma loved it. She thought the set-up was so cute and enjoyed talking to the manager more than she enjoyed talking to me! : P The donuts are GRADE AAA (Get the Bacon donut-no regrets!) and the atmosphere is intimate and relaxed.
Ive been driving by this location on Park Blvd in Plano for months watching and waiting for WOW - Donuts and Drips to open - so when I saw an open sign the other day, I decided to venture in. This isnt your typical donut shop - best thing I can compare it to is what Starbucks is to coffee, WOW is to donuts. These are artistic creations, masterpieces of dough and sugar - seriously...these donuts are displayed in a specially-created case that gives the illusion that there are endless supplies of these tasty goodies. You dont actually purchase one of these donuts in the display cases, you tell them your order and you might just get a hot and fresh one right out of the oven! Two things you need to know before you venture in...first, these donuts arent cheap - the more creativity, the higher the price, and I believe the range was from $1 for a simple glazed donut to $5 for some of the more unique creations. Second, youll need some time to ponder the variety - Ive never seen to many donut creations - my short time there didnt even scratch the surface. Oh, and I learned that WOW offers more than just donuts - apparently their coffee and tea selections are incredible, but I didnt try either.Ok, for the donuts. I tried a cherry fritter - mine was hot and fresh out the oven. Excellent. I tried a chocolate old fashioned (I think thats what theyre called) - I didnt like their chocolate, not my favorite. I tried a maple bacon donut - incredible (seriously, how could it not be topped with bacon!). Finally, they gave me a hot, fresh glazed donut as well - wow, it was really, really good! Will I return to WOW - Donuts and Drips? Maybe. I have a difficult time getting past the price point for their products, but we live in a culture that pays $5 for coffee, so I assume theres a market for $5 donuts as well. I think these specialty treats items will compete with the specialty cupcake and bundt cake places and once youve tried something from WOW, youll be impressed. I would recommend stopping by and checking it out - I think youll like it.
Well after getting excited about this shop coming to Frisco, I can no longer support this small business due to their ridiculous mask mandate. No other donut shop in town is requiring this and it will not be hard to take my business to the dunkin that sits in front of this shop✌🏼
A fantastic place for a better coffee and Donuts experience, where care and quality is sought above all else.
For what it is, I totally dig it - coffee, tea, and a wide variety of donuts. No espresso, but they had 7 or 8 single serving drip coffees to choose from. I picked the Guatemalan and had a donut called “The Elvis”. 🍩👑 Both of those plus a plain glazed donut for about $6. The interior is clean and pretty instagrammable. 📸 I’m not really a donut guy, but this one was legit decadent. 😋 Overall fun and pretty inexpensive spot to check out in West Plano. 👍👍
Pretty cool concept for donuts in west Plano. A couple things stand out from normal donut shops...the wide variety of donuts, late hours, variety of drinks and the wide open spaces for seating. All the donuts have the same base but are topped differently and to order. You wont have the excuse of saying they didnt have a flavor you like. Also, I do appreciate the later hours because who doesnt crave donuts at night? It seems like a cool place to eat and hang out although it can be a bit pricy when buying more than one.
Great service ! Espresso was delicious.
Really great unique donuts
$15 for a water and two donuts wft not coming here again.
Absolutely incredible donuts and drinks! My family and I cannot wait for the reopening!!
Normally Wow donuts are amazing but I had the new oh la la apple croissant donut and was very disappointed the apple filling makes the donut soggy, along with the pungent taste of the spices. The Strawberry donut is too sweet as they take a glazed donut and dip in Strawberry icing. I still will go back as they have so many other donuts that are amazing.
Okay... listen it seems a buttload of money for good to very good donuts. However, the price is not truly for the donuts. The price is for all the unseen business and operations costs (business loans, lease or mortgage on the space, remodeling costs, employees, POS system, fan y coffee machine, bakery equipment, etc.) If having a donut at a ultra chic boutique store is your thing this is the place. If you want an affordable donut and dont care about the ambiance go anywhere else.
Tried this place last night 12/26/19, while we were ordering we were lucky enough that the owner (older lady) was changing out display donuts so she answered our questions, and immediately could tell this lady loved her business and was proud of it, and she should be these donuts are great, fresh, homemade (even toppings), and their hard work shines through. I high suggest the turtle cheesecake, apparently the cheesecake is made in house with way less sugar, so it tastes as real cheesecake should, and it was phenomenal. This place is absolutely amazing and we will be back.
Very fun experience this last Saturday. The service was really good as the gentleman walked us through the process of how we order and how it is made. The donuts were very good and very fair priced. I have never had a bacon maple donut with freshly made bacon. That was the best one i have ever had of that flavor. I also had the Chocolate strawberry. The artisan work done to create these donuts make it well worth it. Loved this place. Highly recommend.
Went to try the Ooh-la-la (cronut). Found it not as good as Jarams. Wow was a little tough, too greasy. It just doesnt have the crispy, airy texture I was hoping for. Coffee was excellent though!
Love the donuts from here. The maple bacon is incredible!! I had to wait 10 minutes because they ran out of donuts ( National donut day) but well worth the wait fresh donuts the bacon was incredible just the right amount not too little also got the blueberry cream that was so delicious I will definitely be coming back here. it is a little pricey but well worth it. the donuts are excellent, everything we tried here was so delicious the best donut place around my area.
This place is adorable and well designed.they dont accept cash bc they understand the future, lol. the donuts and coffee were delicious, we had great customer service and the baristas facemask matched the decor!i cant wait to dine-in once thats a safe option again.
The basic donuts are good and about what youd expect pricing wise. The fancier donuts are a little pricey but are worth it as a treat. Their coffee maker is fun to watch, and the person working it was more than happy to explain how it worked. A nice place to enjoy a coffee and donut and a book
Well, 2 years ago I had a couple of their donuts and the white cream filling was awesome!!! (Like no other). Today, they use a satin type filling and its not as good to me. They look beautiful and your choice will be a hard one to make for sure. I just prefer a real cream filling to the one they use now.Wish I had a choice to choose a real cream filling. 😌 perhaps they should offer it. I probably will not go there anymore.
This place is a MUST- TRY for delicious donuts. They have certainly earned the name WOW in my opinion. My husband has picked up several donuts for us to try at home, so I can only imagine how amazing they are fresh and in house. Its hard to say which flavor is my favorite because all the ones weve tried so far have been really good. The one that always catches my eye that I cant resist is the Fruity Pebbles! Its just mouthwatering and perfect. My husband and I plan to make a trip to their store together in the near future so we can try out their coffee also! If youre looking for an excellent sweet-treat experience, Wow has exactly what you need!
The place is clean and nice. The donuts are very artistic and fancy. They run about $4 a donut give or take a dollar depending on how fancy the design and flavors. We bought 6 donuts and a cup of coffee for $30. A bit steep but they look beautiful. The flavors of the cremes and fresh fruit were on point. However the whole experience was very disappointing. The base donut itself was heavy and stale. I was expecting a lighter donut, it was not a cake donut just heavy. It tasted stale and tough as if it was yesterdays. Maybe the prior day was slow, but for the price I was expecting more. While pretty in design, it dis not taste as good as it looked. I wanted to like this place, but I couldnt. I will try them on another day to see if there is a change.
The staffs attentiveness to customers was first class. A very open and inviting space. Makes you want to hang out for a while. My donuts were freshly glazed per my order. The donut was so moist and fresh! If youre a donut lover, WOW Donuts should be at the top of your list!
