As a new worker in Plano, I wanted to take donuts and sausage rolls to work (and be liked by everyone). This place was closest to me so why not. It was around 8am, and it was a lively place. There were a handful of people but the staff had two check out lines open. I ordered a mixed dozen donuts and a dozen small sausage rolls for $20. Not only did the items look good (artisanship) but they also tasted good—a key emphasis in donut academy.

I’ll just say I don’t like the taste of some donut places that have an odd flavor or after taste lol this place doesn’t! I came in my birthday to get some donuts and got this super cute box which made my birthday feel more special. Everything I’ve had here is incredible! They always give me donut holes with my order for free which is super sweet. II’m not sure they’re policy on that and I don’t want to make it seem like you’re bound to get some because I did. The chocolate glaze doesn’t taste artificial like other places which is great. Anyway, this is a great choice for donuts!

Been on a donut kick as of late, have tried tons of different places that are reviewed well both on here and Yelp that have ended up being sorely disappointing. This one I have seen forever and always wanted to stop - best donuts Ive had in probably a 50 mile radius. Light, delicious, just the right amount of glaze and - most importantly - no greasy aftertaste! Highly recommend!

Honestly the sausage rolls were ok but they had been sitting out over night. Asked a lady if i could have fresh ones and she just glared at me then put them in a microwave, then to my surprise they had another batch just sitting behind her covered up and she poured then onto the rack with the rest. Everything there is old unless you see it made infront of you. I suggest this place only if you either dont care about old food or you can convince them to make a new set for you.Honestly what really upset me was the advertising on the sausage rolls.... They look nothing at all to what they advertise like barley any bread.

I stopped here for an afternoon snack. They were closed and the doors were locked. As I walked away, a woman unlocked the doors and let me in. I thought that was extremely nice since I was there after closing time. Im so glad she let me in! The donuts were very fresh. She also gave me free donut holes which was a nice surprise. I shared them with my husband and he said they were the freshest donuts that he has had in awhile.

Big donut selection, full drink cabinet, and pig in a blanket choices. This place hustles in the morning with a long line but very fast service! We got a milk and donut holes. Most people are getting a dozen donuts for their offices. Non-chain, non-franchise.

Rainbow Donuts is a great place to start the day with a donut or kolache. The people working there are very friendly and they take care of you quickly. The kolaches and donuts are very tasty without being heavy. They have a variety of drinks that you can choose from in a sliding door refrigerator.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The staff is rude as hell! I bought something and told the owner that I just needed to use the bathroom so I boughtsomething. Once I checked out the owner told me that i couldnt use the bathroom because I just cleaned it. He then told me to never come back once I left. Worst place I have ever been. Never would I ever tell someone that they couldnt go to the bathroom if they really needed to go just because I cleaned up. 🙄👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

I have been coming to this place for quite some time since I work closeby. I came in last week to get a breakfast taco and dr. pepper as usual. I handed the cashier my card and she swiped and nothing. Later she swiped my card again and she handed me my receipt showing that it had declined. I told her to run it again and she refused. I was livid but some customers in the store were kind enough to pay for my breakfast. I called my bank immediately and was told that everything was clear on my end but the store owner was swiping my card instead of using the chip. She basically embarrassed in the store and normally there is not a language barrier, so I dont really understand. I wont be going back though.

Great local doughnut shop. Get there early for best selection and choices. They stop making fresh doughnuts as closing time approaches. I dont know if everyone gets free stuff with their order (I hope Im special and so now Im just bragging) but I always receive free doughnut holes and sometimes when I put in a big order, I get some free doughnuts.The apple fritter is the best Ive had. Anywhere. Period.
