After much research we have chosen to purchase a spa with the help of Chip. His knowledge helped us decide which spa would work for us and we felt confident with the purchase. He was easy to contact even after some time had passed before we finally made the decision. We anxiously await the delivery of our spa and hope this great service continues through the ownership of our spa.
My husband and I have been going to the Texas State Fair for over 40 years. We have always enjoyed seeing the Hot Tub Spa companies and their products. We are finally building our dream outdoor kitchen and living area this fall and of course were in the market for what would be our perfect hot tub. One of the key features we were looking for was a hot tub that would provide not just good, but a great therapy experience as my husband has had full blown back surgery and needs this for his back. The other feature is for comfort and enjoyment as we are in the hospitality industry and we do like to entertain and have family over. What we thought would be an easy decision became very difficult when we started to dissect the different products and companies. We were introduced to Chip Stewart with Atlas Spas and Swim Spas. Chip was very thorough and helped us to understand all the intricate features and differences when it comes to these hot tubs. We felt very comfortable working with Chip and had no problem letting him know we would make a decision based on of course price, but most important quality of the product we felt would work best for us. After going back and forth between Chip and these other companies as well as hours of research, the decision became clear as we could see that the quality and craftmanship of our dream spa The Legend Series 900 far exceeded these other companies. Chip went to bat for us and made the process seamless by getting the colors and pricing where we needed it to be. My husband and I appreciate all is help and guidance. Aaron came out to inspect our hot tub and was extremely professional and knowledgeable on any questions we had. He found that pump 2 had gone bad and burnt a hole in a hose right by it. A week later he had the new pump installed, hose replaced and even rotated our tub to face the TV better. The best part is is was all covered under warranty. I would recommend the company and Aaron to anyone.

Would I purchase from this dealer again? No.I’m not going to be the guy that drags everyone in the mud on my experience. What I will say to warn anyone else before purchasing is basic customer service skills are not present from the staff at the Plano store with the one and only exception of Aleena. I researched the best brands and decided to purchase Master Spa. We didn’t like the color of the one they had on display at the expo so we purchased one that was already on order that met our needs on color and amenities. Aleena is the only positive experience we had during this whole ordeal. She is kind, knowledgeable and returns phone calls.We purchased the spa at the Expo in Fort Worth the first week of May. It was supposed to be delivered in August. They finally delivered it on October 16th. The Plano store did not return a single phone call nor did the sales manager respond to our texts asking about status. Pay close attention to your contract and understand what you are signing. You are unable to cancel or break the contract for any reason. I am a reasonable person and understand the challenges due to manufacturing and shortages the last couple years. If the sales manager would’ve called us back and explained what the status was, I would’ve been more pleased with the whole experience. Wouldn’t have received it any sooner, but just keeping me up to date would’ve been nice. Also be aware they do not deliver the spa themselves. They contract that out to a third party. That wasn’t a big deal to me, they just didn’t disclose that at time of purchase. Some people may want to know that.

If your in the market for a hot tub or swim spa look no further. Natalie provided the best customer service I have experienced in a long time and wish most businesses had people like her. Hot tubs are hard to come by during Covid and she kept us up to date on the status of our order and options available in order to get our hot tub sooner. The service doesn’t stop with the sale. After delivery she has been extremely helpful and patient with all my questions and quick to respond (and I’ve had a few being a newbie).

Bought an expensive spa from Atlas. Have a Jet that doesnt work. Have talked to two representatives, said they would check and call back. First call a week and a half ago and no call. Second a few days ago and no call. Two calls today, one at 952, no call back. One at 2, received call from manager around 3. Promised call on Monday with resolution and date of repair. If he follows through, which I think he will I will change my review.Tim Blake made it out and they corrected the issue. The personnel that delivered and later worked on the spa are fantastic. After talking to Tim, I am happy with the final result. Once they correct the issue mentioned above with returning phone calls, they will have a five star location. I would rate them at a 4.7 until then. Again, Tim was great and I am satisfied with the result.

We werent planning on buying right then but her knowledge was superior in helping us determine our needs which truly led us to deciding on Master Spas. Very knowledgeable of all the products on display and everything else the company had to offer including rebates and packages to help get your spa set up. Aleena took her time with my family, letting us get in to try out several of the spas on display. She never once rushed us or pushed us to purchase a bigger or more expensive product. I really appreciated how she listened to my familys needs, wants, and concerns. She was able to find us the perfect hot tub within our budget. She also explained very thoroughly everything we would need to do prior to delivery. We had an amazing experience and I am certain it was all because of her. Really beginning to feel like a fool. I have paid over $15,000 for a hottub and patio in full that has been on order for over a year and I now cant get a call back after 5 requests and tons of empty promises when I go to the store. About to seek further action. Desperately hoping this review gets someones attention. In the meantime, buyer beware. Our experience has been very different than what we were promised.
If you are interested in getting a hot tub and live in the DFW area DO NOT buy a hot tub from Atlas Spas. Here’s my story: Ordered our HL7 18 Jan 2021 to be delivered NLT Jul 2021 per contract. Called in June 2021 to see if we could change the skirting to black, was told “absolutely but it could push delivery to end of July/first week in Aug.” Called first week in Aug for estimated delivery date, was then informed that since I changed the skirting it wouldn’t be ready until late-Oct. I asked why and was told the “freeze in February has caused delays.” If I changed the skirting back to Espresso then I could, possibly, have it by Sept, but Tim Blake was going to call the manufacturer and confirm (this was a Friday). Two weeks later I get a call stating my hot tub was ready for delivery and they needed final payment, so I paid it in full. After payment was received we get a call stating our hot tub’s skirting is graphite! Nothing in my backyard is graphite or even in that color scheme! I was told that I stated to Tim Blake I would accept graphite as a skirting when he called me back…I never received a call back and I can prove that with my phone records! Unfortunately, they had my money and if I refused delivery it would be another 6 months till I could get a hot tub or I would be out $10,000! I even asked, when I spoke to Tim Blake that first week in Aug, if I could just get my deposit back and was told no since it’s written in the contract “no refunds” and when I pointed out delivery of July was in the contract, I was told it was my fault because I changed the order. I then pointed out that I was told “no problem…latest delivery would be first week of Aug” so they are in breach of verbal contract, to which Tim Blake said that the delay was due to the “freeze” and he wasn’t liable for that. I’m a 100% disabled veteran and need the hot tub just so I can alleviate pain, so I accepted the hot tub. They then sent me the revised contract showing payment in full, and I was told it would have the corrected information on the skirting and acrylic. Only the revised contract stated Espresso skirting and Sterling Silver acrylic, NOT Graphite and Tuscan Sun. I requested a corrected contract and have yet to receive one. Upon delivery/set up, the crew was very professional and got it going perfectly. However, I was never told, nor did the crew tell me, to use a water filter directly on the water hose to filter out harsh metals/contaminants. I tried for two days to get my chemicals balanced but to no avail. They told me that I would be sent videos to watch, but I never received them. So I googled Master Spas videos and that’s when I found out about the water hose filter that should’ve been used. We have very “hard” water in my neighborhood and that filter was essential. I emptied the hot tub, attached the filter and put it directly in the filter like the video instructed, followed all the set up steps, and by the next day I had a chemically balanced hot tub. Tim Blake stated that not everyone uses the hose filter and that’s why they didn’t with mine. However, I think that if the manufacturer states that is what should be done, then that’s what should be done.The customer service, communication and integrity of this business is the worst I have ever encountered! The manager continues to blame me, or the freeze, for their incompetence even though I have proof of their lies and incompetence! I feel like I should take legal action but I have no idea if I can or even if I should. So frustrating! Atlas has been great to work with. Colton (Plano location) was able to help me understand where I needed the electricity hookup to be and the correct spa orientation for my patio. Delivery and set up went very well. I have had a couple water chemistry questions. Colton walked me through the process and gave me some great advice. We have really enjoyed our twilight spa!
We are still waiting for ours to arrive. We bought it in March. We did not receive any form of communication when the expected delivery time frame came & went. Getting someone to return calls has been a challenge as well. When we finally spoke with someone, we were told they dont have time to send communications.

Went to the Allen Event Center show & purchased a 7 person spa . Spa was delivered April 2020 with the wrong siding and steps (brown) correct top and shell ( gray ) . We were told by the guys who delivered that they would be back next week to correct it or they could take the whole spa back that day but electrical was already done so we said leave it and return to switch out .When we called after 2 weeks we were told that Covid had slowed down production etc . We understood and said call us when it’s in to schedule to come back out . We don’t get updates we have to call in repeatedly. I haven’t posted any complaints until now bc here we are almost a year late and STILL NOT CORRECTED ! Spa is great but customer service is not . You took our full payment but haven’t delivered our full product so disappointed and won’t refer anyone !John and Stacy AlbaTammy contacted me and got everything set up for our correct siding to be switched out within the next week ! First time buyers here! We have never been to a “spa expo” so had no idea what to expect. When we went, all the Atlas employees were so welcoming. Mandy was our representative and she was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. They gave us all the details for each spa line and how they differ. There were hot tubs and swim spas with water in them and empty ones to get into. If you are looking for a spa company with a high end line that is affordable, check out Atlas. My wife and I were so pleased! Delivery is quick too.

12/9/2020Bought a new 8 foot by 8 foot hot tub and it never worked since it was delivered here at 4:20pm on Friday October 26. It was dark when they finally got finished setting it up. The delivery men said I would have a video in my owners package telling how to operate the new tub. There was no video and lots of the jets didnt work. When following the instructions to release the two filters so they could be cleaned, it didnt work. About one third of the jets do not work. I called and spoke to two different men who did nothing. I called Natalie on Nov. 16 who said shed email me a video showing how to operate the hot tub and also would schedule a repair man to come repair the NEW hot tub. Ive never heard back from anybody. A $12,000.00 hot tub that never has worked is BAD BUSINESS. Its even worse when nobody wants to warranty Atlas Hot tubs. Candice Dyer

We purchased a Michael Phelps lsx850 and it’s been an awful experience since we put our 30% down which was over $5k. The total was just under $20k. The tub was delivered yesterday (may 27th, 2021) and we can not get it running. We called the store, the salesperson, the manager and the factory. Feels like we are getting the run around. No one can come look at it for a week. This is the whole reason we purchased from atlas and did not order a hot tub online. We wanted to make sure it was probably hooked up and probably service. None of that has happened. We have a $20k mosquito magnet. I am so over this company and their lack of customer service. It’s insulting.Salesreps- Megan and Blake
We bought a spa for our house that is being built. Chip Stewart was amazing and patient and help us through all our crazy questions. Unfortunately because of these crazy times and back orders we won’t get our Spa until July, but Chip was always very up front about this and we never felt that he was being anything but honest! They are the sweetest couple and the best sales people you’ll ever find. They worked with us for several hours, even came to our house the same day and got to a price we were happy with. Wanted to update my review. I did receive a call from Tim Blake and he has offered to store our swim spa until we can get the installation scheduled with the company we are working with or possibly the one company they recommend in the area. I definitely appreciated him stepping in, and Im hopeful that he will stand behind what he told me, and if we cannot come to an agreement with the company we are working with or if they are unable to do the installation, he will hold the spa even if it takes a year for their preferred company to put it on their schedule. BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase a Master Spa from a local sale, please know that the service, advice you will receive from Atlas after the sale is virtually non existent. We purchased a 15D swim spa back in September and initially our sales rep was helpful and visited our home twice to advise on installation. However, he never provided any suggestions for who we could contact for decking, etc. as he said he would do. I later found out from a decking company that due to our city codes we would require a 3 foot railing above the deck, which would put it about 1-2 feet over our fence line. We are in an HOA neighborhood and obviously this will not work. At this point, looking at the Master website we decided to do an in ground installation. I contacted our sales rep, who said he had no idea who to recommend to do this and to call Tim Blake the store manager. Tim curtly informed me that the only company they would recommend for this type of installation was a year out. I think I have finally found a company to do this on my own, but Atlas could not even follow through with getting them the requested information they needed. So, as others have stated, know that once you sign, you are basically on your own. I hate to think what problems I may encounter in the future. We will be paying almost $30,000 for this unit with the delivery and it will probably cost us an additional $25,000 for the installation. I could have definitely had a pretty awesome in ground pool with a lot less headache and a team that would actually respond for the same price.
A Hot Tub or Swim Spa Expo is for real! Mandy and Chip at Atlas put together packages of rebates and individual discounts to make getting a Swim Spa in our budget.We got all our questions answered, timelines explained and got contacts of people to help prepare our yard and put in electrical service.They even met us at our house the same day to verify the installation and discuss where to set the Swim Spa.Finally if you are thinking about a swimming pool consider a Swim Spa they can get as large as you like and be used all year.They warranty goes in for years and Mandy and Chip feel like family friends and will help us with any problems or questions as we proceed.

My partner and I had previously discussed getting a hot tub and viewed some at retail stores. We could not agree on the features, the placing of jets and the price. As luck would have it, there was a hot tub/spa expo in town that weekend. I reached out to an associate and made an appt. Aleena responded in minutes and explained she would meet us at front desk. We were warmly greeted. Aleena was top notch! She knew products thoroughly, was friendly and bonus with great sense of humor! She inquired about problem pain areas and was honest about some upgrading. She also included advice to get doctor prescription that would save the taxing. A bit disappointed on the backlog of product, but obviously beyond her control. If you want the best experience ask for Aleena. I believe in Plano store or maybe Grapevine.

Blake and the crew at Atlas in Plano are the best. Bought the Master Spa Michael Phelps Legend spa and don’t regret it at all. What a fabulous benefit for any household. My two boys are athletes and it is a God-send for them to relieve achy, tired muscles...fun to just relax in also!! I totally recommend Atlas and any of the Master Spa hot tubs. We bought our hot tub in May or June of 2020. Unfortunately, outside of the first couple of days, our experience with Atlas Spas has been very poor.1) We ordered a lift for the cover. On 2 separate occasions, the lift wasn’t delivered and installed (e.g., A). Showed up but didn’t have the parts to install B). They rescheduled a few weeks out & it was then out of stock. We didn’t find out until the day of when I called them). Keep in mind, reschedules take a minimum of 1-2 weeks. I ended up just cancelling the order.2) We had our electrician come out because our brand new tub kept tripping. Turns out, he discovered a leak that had been there since the day we purchased it. I thought the water residue was coming from the hot tub cover, but turns out it was an internal leak tripping the system. Okay, things happen, but we have had a terrible experience trying to get someone over here to fix it in arguably the best month to have a hot tub down south. I called in 2 weeks ago, had an apt scheduled today (the earliest available date), and no one showed up. I literally have a voicemail confirming the apt from a week ago. So, I called today when no one showed between 3-5 pm. They can’t find my apt and noted the earliest I can get in is over a week away. If I finally get someone here next week, my guess is they will need to order parts and it will take another month+.Overall, I’m a bit fed up. If possible, I’d like a refund. The tubs themselves seem great, but the backend customer experience has been atrocious.

Im in love with my spa and the customer service I have received from Atlas. Chip Stewart has been SO helpful and never makes me feel like Im bothering him, even after the tub was set up. The delivery guys were professional and set everything up and explained it all to me! Dont go anywhere else if youre wanting to buy a hot tub! Ask for CHIP!!!!

Atlas Spa & Swim is a great place to buy a hot tub. We bought ours at a show in Dallas, TX. They are very knowledgeable and have everything you need including an electrician to come hook up the hot tub. Their hot tubs run on very little chemicals and are mostly mineral based. They have two pumps and the jets are very powerful. We would recommend them to everyone.

We met Mandy today at the hot tub expo in Frisco Texas. She was incredible. Very knowledgeable of all the products on display and everything else the company had to offer including rebates and packages to help get your spa set up. Mandy took her time with my family today, letting us get in to try out several of the spas on display. She never once rushed us or pushed us to purchase a bigger or more expensive product. I really appreciated how she listened to my familys needs, wants, and concerns. She was able to find us the perfect hot tub within our budget. She also explained very thoroughly everything we would need to do prior to delivery. We had an amazing experience and I am certain it was all because of Mandy. If you are in the market to buy a hot tub or swim spa; do yourself a favor, ask for Mandy.

WOW! Today was an unbelievably good day for my family and me. We have been researching pools and swim spas for more than 3 years. Im not going to skirt the issue we need to get back into shape and have learned that swimming and water aerobics is the absolute best method for people of ripening experience such as us to get back into shape without further damage. We looked at pools, pools with water jets, endless pools and swim spas. So when I heard about the event by Atlas Spas & Swim Spas for Master Spas I talked my wife into taking a trip to Frisco for the show. We were both very impressed with the knowledge of the Sales Rep Blake we spoke with. With all the research we were almost experts ourselves so anything they would have tried to pull over on us wouldnt have worked. But to my relief they were straight up. Just a great price and a really great product. I will be back to let you know how the complete service was but Im thinking this is going to be a great experience. Enjoyable Friday afternoon buying a hot tub. Blake was the best representative that we could have asked for. He took his time to answer all of our questions and there were a lot. He educated us on what we needed to know about our first purchase of a hot tub. He didnt pressure sell us at any time. In fact when we needed time to talk just between my Husband and I, he was more than willing to walk away and give us our space. It was all around an enjoyable experience. Then after the purchase Atlas was quick to deliver. Now after we have purchased Blake is still happy to answer any questions we might have. Had a great buying experience with Mandy. She was very knowledgeable about each hot tub we looked at and explained the difference with each line. She was not pushy and patient with us while we decide which one we wanted. We bought ours on Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. The set up guys had it in and up and running pretty quick. Atlas spas & swimming spas is having a show this weekend(8/16/19) at the Frisco Convention Center and we attended. Blake Carmen was our sale rep. He was patient and very knowledgeable about all the products. He was able to save us several thousand dollars and get the 5 person spa delivered to our farm house the next day, at no charge! I am very pleased with the service they provided us. Also financing was a breeze, it only took a few minutes.
My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Mandy at the Forth Worth Convention Center during the Swim Spa Sales Event. Mandy was upbeat, approachable and professional. We were impressed in the fact she took the time to listen to what we thought we wanted and knowledgeable enough with the products to recommend items that would work with what we had envisioned. She accurately determined the Swim Spa was more health related than recreation and focused the conversation on how the Swim Spa could help me strengthen my joints and improve my range of motion from head to toe. She took extra time going over the information package, answered all our questions to include, price, financial options and maintenance. I purchased a spa during an expo and the experience has been first rate. My salesperson Mandy was very helpful and relaxed. She explained the features of each spa without pressuring me in any way. Out of curiosity we visited the Spa and Swim Spa show in Allen since we’ve been anticipating building out the backyard space. We were instantly greeted by Mandy who walked us through their various product lines and the benefits of each. Mandy is very knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely friendly. Most of all she is not a pushy sales type. If you want more in depth information on what to look for when comparing products, this is definitely the place to go, and Mandy is the person to see!
Alena was a very nice salesperson. She really helped to show the different spas that were available and each benefit and feature of each spa. We are really enjoying our Healthy Living Spa.We did not receive the correct color cover and are still waiting for the brown cover. That is the only problem we have had . The delivery boys were very good and do helpful in explaining all we needed to know about our spa.

Upon delivery, the spa did not work when we hooked it up. We notified them and they had someone out the next day. Minor problem was corrected and it was up and going in 5 minutes. To my surprise Colton told me the parts I was looking for were actually subject to a recall and had free parts in stock for me. I was also looking for a (motorized/hands free) solution for removing spa cover unfortunately could not offer any approved automated accessory.
