Small place that took over a taco store awhile back. Most customers got take out for weekday supper. We dined in. Service was prompt and food served hot. And we got plenty for leftovers. Its a BYOB restaurant and the liquor store is next door.

Really not sure how there are such high reviews for this place. It was bland and the furthest thing from fresh. We ordered here because their website says “everything made from scratch”, which could not be further from the truth. They serve they same chewy, frozen, garlic ‘knots’ as everyone else. Pasta was from a box and over cooked. Each entree was $15 and very small and underwhelming. Tiramisu was still frozen in the middle.Real “fresh” Italian, made from scratch……

I got the eggplant rolltino or something and added shrimp pretty damn good. He got chicken Alfredo looked good. The rolls were the most amazing part. The Alfredo dipping was not as good as the Alfredo on my eggplant. Great service

We came by on Sunday and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the waitress was very nice. I had the Stromboli, and enjoyed it a lot. My wife had the Amoretto Tortellini and was very pleased as well. Definitely recommend coming in for great Italian cuisine!

Love this place. The Spaghetti and Meatballs were perfect. Our waitress recommended the Baked Tortellini which I had on a subsequent visit and it was also great! The garlic bread was fresh and very tasty. The service was over and above. I see myself as a customer for a long time to come.

This is a little treasure of a restaurant. They have a great variety of options on the menu. Food comes out of the kitchen piping hot and perfectly prepared. My favorite is the fettuccine calabrese - I could drink the sauce all by itself! They seem to run on with a micro staff and can be a little rushed but dont worry - the wait will be well worth it, especially if you bring a bottle of wine to help pass the time!

Small Italian restaurant that is hard to spot. BYOB .. but just walk next door to S&K to pick up a beverage. Friendly staff and owner. Good choices on the menu. Affordable prices. We enjoyed and will be back!

Great little BYOB restaurant in a strip mall right off of 75. Parking in front is limited but there is plenty around the corner. Restaurant is clean and nice as are the bathrooms. Serving staff were very personable and helpful. Food was very good. Highly recommends

Okay this is a small Italian restaurant with quality food. The menu is simple but quite effective. Even though upon arrival for late lunch only one man was running this place one of the owners he was the cook cashier and the waiter he knows what hes doing and took care of business. I would definitely recommend this small restaurant thats keep it in the neighborhood its a good place reasonable prices. Please try this place if you havent I highly recommended.

If there was a 6 star option this place would deserve all 6 hands down! Wonderful experience! We ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms with a brandy creamy Dijon and lemon sauce. And I had the Sausage and Pepperoni Stromboli and my girlfriend ordered the Arugula Salad..Guys, forget about Olive Garden.. Forget about Romanos!! This place is the absolute best!! The food is so good. Fresh, hot, and seasoned just right! Very very good!And the people are friendly and helpful. Suggestions about the menu were spot on.Highly recommend this place!!

This was our first attempt at Italian food in the Frisco/Plano area and we went for a small, family owned setting. It was good, not great but good. The food was certainly authentic and tasty. The bread was very nice and the Pasta with Pesto sauce and Chicken was very good! That said, there were few small things that can be improved very easily - the house green salad was not of high quality; the crab stuffed mushrooms were much too salty; the server did not really know much about the menu offerings (she was nice but not much help!). Overall, recommended for giving a try!

We were looking for a BYOB restaurant for our 25th Wedding anniversary. We had a special bottle of wine to consume. So we ended up at Amoretto. After reading the menu, it was an easy choice. There were several items that sounded very good. And the prices are a great value. Its a great location, we will defiantly work our way through the menu.

Best sauces i have tasted, tried 3 different pasta sauces and they were all amazing!! So hard to decide. The bread!! Small business but service was quick, plenty of space inside to eat oh and to top it off byob right next to a liquor store. So good all of it!!

After driving past this place to work almost every day I got curious and saw all the good reviews so I had to try it!The inside was nice and deeper looking (length wise) then the outside looked. The waiter was very friendly and attentive (It was Sunday lunch and not too many people).The prices seemed solid and the quality and taste were nice! The salad was like any other salad, the house was was a little but vinegar-y to me but still good! The garlic rolls were delicious :DThis was the first time I had tortellini and I was a fan! (Saw the recent BingingWithBabish episode on pasta hehe) and my girlfriend had their Spaghetti with marinara and Italian sausage and that was good too!Two pics didnt come out so only the garlic rolls and tortellini showed T_TGreat place, will be back!

Looking for a new Italian restaurant as our fav one has made my wife and I sick the last few times, and the one previous to that burned down, we’re not having a great track record!We were reviewing restaurants in this area and saw Amoretto, so we decided to check it out. Love how the place is BYOB and kid friendly. While we only have a 4 week old it is nice to find places when she is older and a tad louder that will be acceptable to bring her.The crab stuffed mushrooms were beyond delicious!! The main entree (chicken pesto tortellini) was awesome as well! Leah and I split the main entree and we are both beyond stuffed!!I love how they give the bread knots with marinara sauce, major bonus points.Our waiter, Jay, was awesome!! Give him a raise and a bonus!!!

Our first time to visit and everyone in out group of 7 enjoyed it. The food was tasty and service was very good, very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you try it out.Our only comments were the ceasar salad was overdressed for our taste and the fettuccine carbonara sauce was a little too greasy for me. Still everything liked freshly prepared and we especially liked the chicken Limon and the marinara served with the bread.

This small, unassuming restaurant never ceases to impress. The food here is always superlative and the service is attentive without being obsequious. On our latest visit, our group tried the Chicken Limone, the Chicken Modo Mio, the Chicken Marsalla, and the Chicken Vesubio. In all cases, the pasta was properly cooked. The chicken in the Chicken Limone was a little dry and the sauce could have had a touch more seasoning, but for the other dishes, the chicken was juicy, and the dish overall well seasoned. A shared Tiramisu for dessert rounded out the evening. The establishment is BYOB and we took advantage of that, taking our time for a relaxing meal. Prices are quite reasonable and portions are generous. If youre looking for good Italian food without a pretentious atmosphere, look no further.

We were very impressed with Amoretto italian restaurant.The food was Molto delizioso(delicious)and Very Authentic. Being our first time here we tried a little assortment to see what was good and Everything we ordered was Amazing!:Stuffed mushrooms, Pizza, Spaghetti, garlic knots with Amoretto sauce and of course Chocolate cake🎂we couldnt stop eating even after we were full. Definitely added this spot to our favorites list.Highly recommend this little gem.🍕

Today was our 1st dining experience at this restaurant, and I must confess, it was a beautiful experience in taste and presentation. We have dined in cities around the world, but none equaled in taste the meal that we enjoyed this evening. In the future, this will be our eating establishment of choice. Wonderful, delightful, and something that brings a smile.

The food was exceptional! The sauces on everything were absolutely delicious. The bread they bring to your table reminded me of garlic knots and were so good with the tomato dipping sauce! I really loved the muscles & clams appetizer. The service was also great. I will definitely be going back!

This dish was spectacular! Actually, everything was delicious... the calamari was the first, best, and only Ill probably ever have. Our waiter Jay, was incredible!

We have dined here many times as just a couple or a group of 10. There service is consistently excellent. The food is delicious. This visit I had the Fettuccini Calabasas with grilled chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy and the pasta was properly cooked with a generous sauce but not drowning. The sauce was delicious. We were a group of 6 this visit and all or food arrived together and hot. I highly recommend a visit to Amoretto the next time you crave great Italian food in a nice quiet atmosphere.

The garlic bread is awesome, their sauce wonderful, the Taramiso melts in your mouth and it’s a place where custom service still matters . It’s a great place for lunch- very reasonable and a wonderful experience for dinner as it’s a small great find for homemade Italian food.

Stopped by after reading reviews. Though in a strip mall it is a very warm and inviting atmosphere. There were a few large groups enjoying themselves. The greeting from staff was warm and the service was excellent. The bread was that of a soft garlic know and it was served with a side of marinara.I ordered baked tortellini and it was good. The side of meatballs was good as well.I felt the salad could have been a little better but it wasn’t bad.I only gave four stars because it isn’t a five star restaurant.The prices were very fair and on the lower side for italian restaurants.If you are looking for a no frills Italian restaurant this is a must visit establishment.

You know i went like 3 week ago and the service was slow i waited for an our on a sunday but now i went sunday and i waited for less than 20 minutes honestly i love when restaurants learn from costumers i talk to the owner and he apologized and told me that will never happen again and honestly now the food has great quality and its delicious 😋i tried the lasagna and the chicken alfredo and honestly it didnt disappointed me im honestly goin back next week for some chicken alfredo ....by the way the owner its such a nice guy 👦 i honestly didnt want to put a bad review in my first visit because the owner promised he would do his best next time and he did as he promised probably was because some new guy was working that day but congrats guys on becoming better and becoming our neighborhood favorite 👍.....i give it a 9.5 out of 10You should try it

This place is good! We ordered the Tri Calore Calamari as an appetizer and it was excellent. The garlic bread is to die for, we paid extra for the garlic oil and loved it too! I ordered the grandfather pizza, which was delicious. My only complaint was that I added jalepenos and when the pizza came out, there were no jalepenos. He asked to bring me some, which he did, but they would have tasted better cooked on the pizza. The customer service was great, we did go at 4pm on a week day so it was empty. We will definitely go back and try some more dishes.

Great, quiet Italian restaurant with free wifi and a lunch menu full of good options. The calzone was hot, baked near perfection, and filled with family goodness. The marinara was full bodied, robust and fit well with the entree. Their salad and fresh bread were both fresh and good accompaniments to the meal. I will come back again and would suggest you see for yourself.

I was craving Tortellini and ordered online from Amoretto’s for takeout. This was hands down the best Tortellini I have ever had and it even tasted great after being reheated! I highly recommend and will be back.

For anybody who has had actual quality food you would know this is clearly premade fake food. All the sauces share the same milky premade base and they add like a pump of whatever flavor pasta you choose. Staff is nice but let’s be real the food is far from authentic.

I have eaten here twice and Im very impressed, love the stuffed mushrooms and the pizza is right up there for me, specially for the price. Good toppings, good crust and no greasy residue.

When we called to place an order I made a special request for a vegetarian item. It was not a problem at all and price adjusted fairly. Plus it was delicious! I couldnt find a lemon caper cream sauce with all the extras anywhere else. Our new favorite place.

Ordered from door dash. The Amoretto salad is described as “Lettuce mix, arugula, spinach, mushrooms, red onions, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, croutons, and salmon over amoretto house dressing” on the menu. What arrived did not have arugula, spinach, croutons, or mushrooms. However, it did have olives, which were not listed on the menu and I cannot eat olives. The “focaccia” we ordered was not focaccia. It was a very bad flatbread that showed up looking like it had been shaken up inside the container. Small portions for the prices. Do not recommend.

Not a good sign.Waitress was very engaging and conversational and we ordered. She brought out some bread. THAT alone, was worth the trip! Great bread!Ordered two appetizers - Stuffed Mushrooms and Calamari. Both were VERY good choices. We were told theyll won best Calamari in Plano.My meal was the Salmon Al Limone. It was also VERY good. During our meal, more patrons came in, including many to-go orders. You will NOT be disappointed dining here. I highly recommend Amoretto.

My first time to this lovely restaurant. I got the lasagna and my friend had the angel hair spaghetti with meat sauce. Delicious. Lasagna was not the usual stack of heavy packed pasta, rather lighter but large and flavorable. Sauce was perfect, not acidy or too sweet. Friend raved about her food, it looked great. Oh and homemade rolls come out hot with REAL BUTTER....so good! Were going back next week to try more!

We have really enjoyed ordering from Amoretto during this most difficult time of Covid. We have ordered their lunch to go weekly. Great portion is generous and side salad and all for a very reasonable price. Quick and friendly service !! The food has been awesome !!

Ate there last night, food was great! I want to praise the young lady that was our server. I didnt catch her name, but we had discussed her school ambitions and goals. She was refreshing and excellent at interacting with her customers. She gave information and recommendations. She had a great personality. Amoretto is fortunate to employ this great young lady. Great service helps propel a restaurant to excellence. Again great food and service. I will be back again when in the area.

Chicken Marsala was great! Portion could have been larger. I would have rather pay more for larger portion like at Cheesecake Factory, but this was very taste. Small place but good service and atmosphere. I live close so we will be back.

Excellent service and food. This is our go to for pickup Italian. We’ve had it at least a couple dozen times and it has been consistently high quality and hot every time.

The food was absolutely delicious. The young waiter that served us was bad. We had to chase down our silverware and beg for extra napkins. Through our meal we also watched the hostess lick her fingers while putting together the next sets of silverware/napkins. If you want excellent food and can get past sharing saliva and serving yourself? You need to go here!

We live in the neighborhood. My family and I went here for dinner a few weeks ago. Excellent food and the staff was very friendly. We took our 13 month old baby and the restaurant was very family-friendly. Im really happy this restaurant is in our neighborhood and I wish them well. We are repeat customers!
