Always an enjoyable atmosphere. Quality of food is great. Never any regrets when eating here. Staff is friendly and interior is nicely decorated. Food itself is always fresh. Strongly recommend while in the neighborhood
The food is always fresh and delicious at this restaurant. We would recommend it to anyone wanting quality food.
I decided to try TCC again in hopes that they finally got it together. Unfortunately I was disappointed again. The tomato soup was decent but the sandwich was a soggy mess. By far the worst was the cupcake! I paid $7.50 for a cupcake just a tad bigger than your average mini-cupcake and it was horrible! It did not taste like carrot cake and was drenched in butter and oil.Same dissatisfaction from my visits during pre-COVID. Management should look into a new cupcake vendor!
Food is most often delicious and the venue is gorgeous. However service has been on a downward trend over the last 5 years. My biggest reason why I am giving now this place a 2 and not a 4 or 5 is because they no longer seem to play the great music that they played for years (easy listening, vocal jazz, classic) which was fit for the ambiance and the type of customer that this venue should be trying to go after. In all of our recent visits, the music is horrible...combination of disgusting rap and R&B even some salsa or merengue. As such, we are starting to shy away from coming here but we love the food. We have brought family and friends of ours before and they are also giving the same feedback....great food but music killing the ambiance. To management: please go back to your roots that made you special....great food, service and music...and you will have us back way more often and recommend others to come back!
This is quite a gem hidden in the heart of plantation. I got the tuna melt which came on a fresh baguette, with creamy cheese, and crunchy chips. This compares with authentic sandwiches Ive had in Europe and was very pleasantly surprised to find it in Florida.Theres plenty of outdoor seating in sunny Florida. The portions are generous and the price is fair.
One of the worst service experiences ever. So rude. So unprofessional. Served dairy to someone with an allergy and then gave attitude when we tried to point it out (despite asking for no cheese). The manager was just as rude. I would literally never go to this restaurant. So gross.
Im not one to leave reviews unless theyre really impacting. The food was pretty good but the girl serving the front of the house was rude and full of attitude. She seemed like she didnt want to be there at all. I asked for some extra dressing and she told me to give her a minute. She then cleaned a table (mind you there was no one else in the restaurant) and went outside to talk on her cellphone, then took food to someone elses table. I went up to the kitchen window to ask for the dressing. Terrible service but again, food was good so if youre willing to put up with someone like that.
This location kinda sucks! Sitting here now and bathroom is out of service and they have no water in bottle or machine so we had to get drinks full of sugar. Cashier was polite and helpful. We usually go to the Weston location but the plantation one didn’t really make it out for us.
The food is pretty great; we ordered Serrano Ham and Prosciutto sandwiches with a cup of soup and they were both incredibly tasty. Customer service was decent but not overly good. The place could use a little cleaning, especially around the restroom area where they had a bunch of boxes store for no reason.
Had a great time. Food was great. Servers and cashier were perfect.
I will never go to this place again. I love 3 Course and this place ruined it for me. I found a bug in my salad. I can only imagine what the back of their kitchen looks like. I lost my appetite and left my food and walked away. I will stick to the 3 Cheese Course in Coral Springs. Never again in Plantation !!!
Minus 10 if I could, worst customer service ever. I ordered a sandwich with no olive tapenade and they brought with it so I asked to be re-done and the manager came to me saying that he did the sandwich himself and did not see my request so he went back and threw the sandwich in the garbage and floor in front of us, I was mesmerized! I understand you can have a bad day but not when you deal with customers. I have been going there for years but not anymore!
We used to go there since 4 years ago and was a fantastic place. Stopped going there for a while for lack of good customer service and decided to go there this week. Surprise, salads got smaller, see pictures! Prices are tremendously expensive. 12 dollars for a small salad and a very small soup. And 13 dollars for a full tuna salad that’s is so small (they add a huge bed of plain lettuce to make it look big). Plus some attitude there by the-cashier and attendants. No good.
Great cheese selection, nice service
Food is decent but not worth the steep prices. A fountain soda is almost $4!!!!! Not returning.
The soups are delicious and the wines are pleasant tasting. Ive only ordered the cheese plates, its pretty good if you know the cheeses that you like. Some good sauces/dips/jams to choose from. Havent tried the sandwiches. Nice place to go when you want some light snacking and wine for dinner instead of a heavy meal. Outside seating good when you have a dog.
This is a decent choice for soup, cheese, salads, and sandwiches. But its a shame that they seem to use pre-cooked, microwaved grilled chicken breast for their sandwiches. It really ruins what otherwise would have been a great sandwich. Also, their variety of cheese for sale is not very impressive and has worsened over the years then it comes to variety or harder-to-find varieties. Otherwise, its a clean place and a decent place to have a quick meal. The baguettes are very good.
The food was disgusting! The lettuce was old and and gave a stomach ache. the bread. The serivde was ok, girl that attended us was very nice.
Pizza was straight from microwave. What a shame! Don’t waste time and go to the pizza place next by that is coal fired. This place is not what used to be. Avoid at all costs!!!
The cashier today was a woman whom seemed to be bothered to be taking my order and was impolite and unfriendly to me, my cousin and my 2 year old child. I asked for extra fruit chutney on the side and it was forgotten when my meal was brought to the table. When I went back to ask for the missing item, a man offered to get it for me, but then got distracted greeting a friend that came into the restaurant. The same impolite cashier then proceeded to go into the kitchen and without washing her hands or putting on gloves, grabbed the fruit chutney for me, which was disgusting to say the least. She then ran to greet the friend visiting with a big smile and hug. So it appears her kindness is only reserved for friends and not paying costumers. Also, a hair not belonging to any of us was found in my soup. Instead of offering a refund for the soup, the server offered to give me another tomato bisque. Another soup with hair in it? No thanks! Furthermore, it’s Florida law to offer changing tables in restaurant restrooms and this location does not have one in either the women’s or men’s restroom. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again and will share this horrible experience with family, friends and colleagues.
Terrible service and the sandwiches are just ok. Will not be going back
I’ve been here many times. The food is delicious and always presented nicely. On this particular visit I came with my family. The place was empty. The guy that took our order was pleasant and gave us some good recommendations. HOWEVER, a girl by the name of Maria had the most unpleasant, unwelcoming, and offensive attitude. WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS WORK IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY???? If this girl had just smiled and was nice this place would get all 5 stars. Maybe she needs some customer service training or maybe she should only work around the back.
Came in at just past 4 and ordered the fondue. Big mistake. Cashier was a brunette Brazilian that couldnt wait to clock out and even still was just messing around with her phone. Our wine never came to the table until I had to sort that out well after the fondue arrives and I brought it to the attention of the replacement staff as miss Brazil was long gone. Do your self a favor and hire some adults and get ride of the kids.
What a cute place for an afternoon meal! My husband and I got a great Americano coffee with a little cookie on the side. The cheese platters looked delicious. Their food looks awesome. We plan to come back for a glass of when and a cheese and meet tray. The decor is very nice and relaxing. Well worth a visit if you are in the area or if you have spent the day shopping at the Fountains.
Good fresh food. Nice choice for lunch. I have only had delivery, but each time it was good. I could tell it had been just prepared. I would continue to go back but it is far from me so the fee is astronomical, but that is no reflection on them. I would recommend the cheese course, and will be going there again in the near future.
The food is great. It’s a nice place to splurge. They really know what to recommend if you are not sure on cheeses.
Food is good but this location is getting super cheap with everything.First of all, I ordered a BOWL of soup but it was the size of a cup!! Then if you wanted a piece of bread to dip on that soup it was extra.Ordered a Large sandwich and was smaller than other locations.
Nice restaurant with really awesome staff. I ordered cappuccino and a cookie which I thoroughly enjoyed.I liked the flowers on the table and more so the arrangement under the ceiling.
Staff not friendly or helpful. Went to buy some cheeses by the pound to go and didnt seem to care whether we ordered or not. No list of cheeses or willingness to help even with no one behind us waiting. Would think they would want the business especially during the Covid crisis. Needless to say we walked out.
When they first opened everything was delicious and very helpful friendly staff. Its changed drastically since. Its as though youre imposing on them and they are at times rude. They dont offer, suggest, or smile. No longer a fan.
Delicious and relaxing. Presentation of food is just as delicious as it tastes. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and mushroom Brie soup ... scrumptious! The Pinot Noir recommendation was spot on! Ill be back!
I placed an order through Doordash and my food was neatly prepared and fresh! I ordered the French Field Salad it was delicious! This will definitely be my go to place!
I had lunch here by the recommendation of a co-worker. The best chicken salad sandwich!! Chicken salad is all white meat and has grapes mixed in! I didnt think Id like the idea of grapes in my chicken salad - but it was AMAZING!!! You can pair up any sandwich with a cup of soup for about $10.00. Sandwiches are a good size served on a fresh baguette. Ive had lunch here several times now but still stick to the same soup bc its so good - Yukon Potato Soup! The potato soup is full of creamy, cheesy, bacon-y goodness! The tuna melt and the chicken breast sandwich with roasted red peppers and basil pesto are good too! The red velvet cupcake is a great way to end lunch. A little pricey at almost $5.00 a piece but totally worth it!
Seriously disappointed. The place was freezing to begin with, and the food was less than Luke warm. I had a quiche that tasted like it was a couple of days old which was served with the most un- fresh salad and then plastic utensils to cut both with... A friend had soup of which she said was OK and a chicken sandwich that was very chewy. I have heard people say that they are best known for their cheese boards with wine, so maybe they should just stick to that on their menu. And service was terrible. I wouldnt even call it service.Over all just very disappointed.
Nice little classy place. I got a soup and sandwich and both tasted absolutely delicious! It has a very neat atmosphere inside too. Dont forget to try their sample cheese of the day! Very minor critique; you dont get a lot of food for your buck, however, I felt content after my meal, which is probably what Im supposed to feel, as opposed to FULL.
The food is delicious. The atmosphere is cute and the employees seemed nice. definitely a little pricey but over all good. We will be back!
I go this cheese course a least once a week. The food is amazing and so are the staff! Especially Alice, she is very professional and has great customer service. it is a nice atmosphere as well and decent prizes. I find this location so much better than the Weston one.
I go to the Cheese Course almost every week, and they have not disappointed. The food there is really good and they have a couple of good vegetarian options there. The Service there is also very friendly and will do anything to help. You must eat here if you’re craving for cheese.
We normally go to the Weston location and we have nothing than great things to share about that location, however, for the Plantation location Its a total different story. After coming for to eat full meals three times in this Plantation location within the last 2 months I think I am being fair by making the following statements:- Staff does not seem to be well trained in customer service. (From the service itself to handling complaints and finding solutions or simply making it up for clients).- They forgot main dishes of our dinner. Even though quality of food is the same as the other locations, today I didn’t enjoy my “warm soup” and cold cheese fondue.- The fact that clients need to order at the counter (like you were in a fast food place) and the table service is mediocre to poor again made us loose the appetite to come back. (Make sure you grab your napkins, pepper, salt drinks, etc to bring with you to the table).- They close at 9:00pm on Sundays . Make sure you go early enough so you get out of there at least 20-30min before closing, otherwise you will watch the staff placing tables on top of booths, chairs on top of the tables, then swiping and doing all the deep cleaning schedule while you finish your meal.- You need to order EVERYTHING you want at the time of ordering, even if you are not sure if you are going to have room for it cause the staff will close cashier at 9:00pm without warnings, so coffee and dessert was not an option so we finish our meal with a cold apology fondue and zero intentions to make up for it. (I most say after I had a conversation with the supervisor and after sharing my frustration he recognized the performance could had been way better).I really wish this location changes to a full table service, do a proper training to their staff and put customers service first as the Weston location. Its a place and concept with a great potential and nice ambience. Please reply to my review when the above happens. I will be happy to come back and give it another chance.Today we spent about 125$ for 3 people and it was definitely not worth it.
Good fresh food. Small portions next to others & higher prices. Not an everyday place to eat but ok for special occasion.
Cheese course used to be amazing and worth the expensive price tag. Since they sold they went down hill. $15 for a baguette with one slice of ham. The service is subpar, I won’t be returning after once again getting cheapen version of what used to be.
The assortment of cheeses is like no other place around! Try a pre-sorted cheese plate or choose your own assortment. Order a charcuterie board to taste a variety of aged meats. Accompaniments include mixed olives, candied walnuts, sun-dried tomato puree, fig jam, etc. They have delightful sandwiches both hot and cold. At the Weston location they have added cheese and chocolate fondue for a fun/romantic twist. Dont forget to pair everything with a bottle of reasonably priced wine from a generous selection.
Great place for gourmet sandwiches and they have a wonderful selection of cheeses for sale. Sometimes it can get crowded and you will have to wait a bit for your food order. The inside atmosphere is nice with some rustic tables that always have fresh flowers on them. And the outside has a seating area with umbrellas for cover. Dogs are allowed on the patio.
Today is my last visit to cheese course. While the food is excellent I am convinced the only way to get hired is to be sullen and have the personality of paste. DONE WITH EMPLOYEES WHO ARE SCARED TO WORK.
Horrible service. Phone attendant left me on hold for over 6 minutes and then would not answer my calls
Normally I love it here. I ordered the 1/2 turkey on Friday and it came with one very thin slice of turkey. This is not an exaggeration. I asked the manager and he said the portions are pre packaged and he couldn’t help me. Total rip off. Won’t be ordering that again. The food is normally great but this was disappointing.
It is good but different than Weston’s location, the menu is smaller and don’t have many dishes
Food was good, enjoyed the wine, environment was relaxing. But, the server was a bit of a dud. Was not clear in describing meal options-ie cheese plates, not the friendliest.
Always a relaxing atmosphere. Food is simple but delicious 😋
Great fresh food! Indoor and outdoor sitting. Quick service. I highly recommend.
Love this place! Great food, fresh salads, charcuterie, cheese trays, excellent sandwiches, wine...perfect for a casual reasonably priced yet elegant dinner.
I had a lackluster experience here. We came for the chocolate fondue. When we ordered I mentioned that someone in our party had a food allergy and asked to not have strawberries. After waiting for about 30+ minutes we received some bread and a few minutes later our fondue came and the strawberries were there. This was a rough trip
I been coming to this place for years but I had not been in the last few 3 months. I came today with my husband to find out none of their soups are vegetarian. I don’t understand how a tomato soup is not vegetarian but I guess they put beef broth . I order a greek salad, when they brought me my food it was overflowing in this tiny bowl. My husband always gets the brocolli cheddar soup and said it tasted different in a bad way. Anyways don’t know what happen to this place but the service is not great, food does not taste the same and not many vegetarian/vegan options. Not worth it for the price they charge.
Perfect brunch spot. Great sandwiches, salads, and soups. Good for a light and healthy meal.
Their sandwiches are pretty good. Sometimes the bread is over toasted, but other than that I enjoy them.
We go there quite often, and the service is good. One of the few places that serves Torta de Santiago, the famous almond cake. It is those kinds of offerings that make places special aside from the soup, salad and sandwiches that are popular.
Fine quick bites and wine. Good service.
The food is good the service is awful...the servings are inconsistent... the staff is careless if you need something... A way to destroy a place with good food
Very cool sandwich stop with fresh cheese and such.
Cashier was rude and has an attitude. I ordered 3 meals and asked for a cup to get water and there wasn’t any water left on the fountain. Instead of offering to refill it they just ignored it.
Amazing
Good food, reasonably priced, no atmosphere and very small.
Best paninis & salads in the area. Healthy options. Local beers available. Outdoor seating too.
Delicious sandwiches and soups
Wait time was a bit longer than expected BUT the food was delicious
We love have Sunday’s breakfast here
They always have great sandwiches but employees could be nicer.
OMG, the turkey sandwich with the chutney....OMG....so good we went back before I flew back home to have another!
Have looked forward to coming to this location. The food is always on par for my experiences but today I come in to order and see one of the associates picking his nose with gloves on.hell no.not coming back.
Food is always food but the server was either exhausted or simply bad....couldnt tell which...
Hadnt been in a while but twas just as awesome as before
Freshly made. Not much variety but good food. I dont know about service because I had a take out
Perfect for a date classy and pricey.
Food is really good service very poor.
Great place to get good sandwiches and soups for lunch! Their cheese samples are great, and the staff are very friendly.
Food, place and people are great...with wide selection of cheese...
Small place but it definitely has tasty salads and sanwiches youbwont find anywhere else. There are also plates of cheese and accompaniments for that lighter need or to go with some wine.
Nice place for cheese and wine
Very good for Friday happy hour.
Very good service and soup was delicious!
The food is awesome, but the counter service isnt as great. The people behind me had to actually ask to place their order because they just kept walking by without acknowledging them.
Charming, clean place where service is fast and polite
Love love love. The end. :)
Love the quality of all their products! The cheese is to die for, pate, cold meats and the bread!!!!!!! So yummy!!!!
Delicious but pricey.
Its a delightful place to have lunch.
A very nice place to visit
We came to check out the cheese course to enjoy a supposed happy hour promotion which seemed so foreign to the staff - meanwhile it is quite apparently printed on the menu! With our first order which was a bottle of wine, we were given glasses which must have just come out of the washer, easily over 100 degrees - ideal if you enjoy a nice cup of wine soup.Due to the lack of staff the tables were not sufficiently bussed/cleared to allow for not an excessive amount of turnover. For an establishment that uses hot fudge sunday glassware in lieu of wine glasses (understandable to mitigate glass breakage) the owners might want to consider a trash/bussing station that is accessible to the patrons. A similar set up similar to that of Panera could work. What made the experience ultimately negative was how one of the members of our group was thoughtful enough to order some food for the group (2 cheese platters and a sandwich) which never made it to the table. After the 1st bottle of wine which was consumed in roughly 30 minutes we inquired with the staff as to the status of our food order. We received an inappropriate stressed response from one of the staff members there is only one of us back here, though they did have what seemed to be 3/4 staff members working. Ok, so we order a second bottle of wine which amounted to over and hour the food order had still not made it out. The slowest place Ive ever been to, overall the staff was uneducated to the items available for purchase. Not likely to visit the cheese course ever again, Id prefer to pick up a bottle at Total Wine and some appetizer type items and enjoy them at a more intimate scenic location.
Love this place! If you are a foodie, get a soup and sandwich and dont go with something safe!
1st time here and I love the quality and taste of the sandwiches !
Cashier sitting down eating and watching videos on her phone, then had the nerve to get an attitude when I advised her that I was ready to order. I got home and the orders wrong. Never again!!
Great lunch place, food is fresh and well priced
Horrible service . I see a lot of people complaining about the manager, the supervisor and about not getting the items right and this is exactly what I need to complain about too. Stay away.
