I helped my sister replace her worn out car. During the online shopping process, I indicated interest directly to several dealers. The only one that responded was Brock at Drive Auto. He showed an innate sense of good customer service all the way through the process. Although the price was not negotiable, it was fair. The car had been serviced by a mechanic like a big lot would do so I felt assured I wasn’t getting stuck with a bunch of maintenance tasks on day 1. He also provided the CarFax report without hesitation. (If a dealer won’t give you one, run like the wind.) I would shop here again.

On the positive side, we were able to test drive and purchase our van with minimal hassle. We found the van online and then the process to finish the paperwork was quick and easy.On the negative side, the repair that was promised to be completed did not actually happen. We left the van with them for a day and it looked complete when we picked it up. However, the problem resurfaced a couple of weeks later. I’m left with the impression that they don’t inspect the vehicles as closely as I feel they should.

We bought a 2016 Highlander and have never had an easier experience buying a vehicle. The website was easy to navigate. We found the car we wanted for the lowest price out there. We called and asked about it, showed up, took it for a drive then went home to think about it. After a day, and making the decision to buy it, we texted Gentry with a few concerns we noticed like missing GPS card and enigma chrome. Not only did they replace the missing parts, they also filled up the gas tank, and Brock had the paper work ready and waiting for us so we were in and out within 30 minutes.To make the buying experience even better, we noticed the day after we bought our car, it was missing the passenger side floor mat. When we returned a couple days later to pick up our ordered parts, because they didn’t have one rubber mat, they gave us a whole set of carpeted mats to make up for the missing mat. They also fixed a rubber door jam that was loose.Not only was their price the best one out there, their customer service went above and beyond. I would definitely buy from Drive Utah Auto again and recommend it to others.

I bought a vehicle from here about a year ago experience was okay. I bought a vehicle whose rear lights won’t turn on been pulled over many times at night and had to replace tires that had a different size thread on all of them. Make sure everything on your vehicle works for you before you leave. Besides those things I’ve mentioned it’s been a good car.

Pros: The sales team was very low-key, low pressure. We really liked the sales person that we got. It was a pleasant experience! Also after shopping around a TON, I can say that the cars are priced fairly.Cons: Parking and driving through the lot was a bit on the dangerous side as the cars are piled up. Also the car that we test drove had some obvious engine trouble. It gave off the impression that the cars werent as well taken care of as wed hoped.Would I come here again? Yes, but I would definitely park somewhere else and have my mechanic on hand to check everything out.

Had the vehicle for less than 4 months and it started leaking oil. Took it to Honda and they informed me that the vehicle was in an accident years before and that voided the warranty and they wouldnt approve the APEX warranty (that I purchased with the vehicle). I called drive auto and was told they have never heard of this before. After paying it off pocket for the repair, drive auto told me I should have brought the vehicle to them. About a month ago, the front shock on the driver side started making a horrible clicking sound. Again was told that the APEX warranty is voided. Very frustrated since I was not informed that the vehicle is considered a salvage title from Honda.

I came in last week to test drive a vehicle and called them the next day, specifically Brock. We heard nothing back. Finally just called the receptionist and said they would get back to us... never did. I then texted Brock a few days later and ALSO heard nothing back. I texted them and asked if the car was still available and they said yes. Well after I finished selling my car and setting up the loan I ask them about it the very next morning.. not even 24 hours and they sold it. Without even telling. Very frustrated that they never bothered to reach out. On top of that, very bad customer service from Brock. They say they dont work off commission but to not return texts or phone calls is next level.Dont bother purchasing unless you expect no help whatsoever from these people!

I have worked in sales in the Auto, Motorcycle, and RV businesses, and I can sniff out a sketchy dealer or salesperson from a mile away. This dealership is awesome! I spent more hours on KSL trying to find a decent import car for a decent price than I care to admit and they are no where to be found, until you find Drive Auto Sales. 1 owner lease returns that are priced very fairly. Riley is a wonderful young lady! Ask for her! The sales manager Brock was great also. They gave me more for my trade-in than they should have, they never waivered from what they said, I harrassed Riley on the phone with questions and she was patient and just made this process super easy. As for the 1 3 star review, every dealer has a documentation fee, no one likes them but there is no difference here than any other dealer. They are a full service dealer, so you can get your financing there, you can get Gap insurance, extended warranties etc. but they wont pressure you to buy them. Gap insurance is a great idea by the way if your not putting any money down. Im rambling now, but I just cant say enough good things about this dealer, they are unique in the world of sketchy dealers that promise to be honest and then give you the same old Plaid coat wearing annoying, dishonest car dealers. Save yourself some grief and just buy your car here.

Make sure to get a Carfax report, bought a Civic there in 2016 - great service and all and it was my fault to not ask for a car report. The one they sold me had structural damage. Didnt find out until trying to re sell the car currently.Would have been nice to have been told before hand but Utah is a buyer beware state.

This was a perfect car buying experience. Yeah, I said it. If you know what you want and they have it, they make is perfectly simple. I had my own funding through the credit union and they didn’t push me to finance through them or try to add in any extras that they knew i didn’t need. It was a 10 minute test drive (by yourself, no salesperson with you) and a 10 minute transaction when I came back with my check. They were short staffed and I kind of rushed them, so they didn’t get a chance to wash it so they handed us a free car wash.Earlier in the week I had the EXACT opposite experience with a different dealer and had to eat some cost after I felt lied to and taken advantage of.So, what a breath of no BS fresh air to come here. I will definitely buy here again and recommend to everyone.Besides that, the car is in great condition and a great price!

Hack job the cars I looked at had major auto body repair. When I asked them how extensive the work had been on the cars I looked at. They denied that there had been any work done on them at all. Ive been in auto body profession for over 25 years and the work was clearly mediocre at best. Fenders didnt line up tool marks on bolts after painting was completed to help body fit better. Missing parts under hood. Miss matched bolts. Inner fender rivets missing and mismatched left right and under bumper cowl area just a real smorgasbord of different parts holding things together definitely not factory equipment. All I wanted was an honest answer about how much work had been done on this car. They insisted none?? PS not accusations but facts. instead of telling me that Im accusing you of things maybe trying to apologize it be more apt to get a better response

After doing research for over a week, Drive Auto has by far the best prices anywhere in the Salt Lake or Utah county area. They were upfront with their dealer fees and car’s conditions. No pressure sales people made purchasing a car super simple and stress free. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable used car.
