Shawn the manager was punctual & incredibly patient & helpful with my 70+ dad. He helped set my dad up with the best phone & plan for him, not the most expensive. He also transferred everything from the old phone, making my dad’s life easier & therefore better.
This was my first time buy my own phone by myself and I was extremely nervous to do it but Macarthur was so amazing and really helped settle my nerves. We had run into some problems with getting the phone I had originally gone into get but instead of making me feel bad for all the trouble getting the phone had caused he was very understanding and helpful. Not only did he help more work through all of the chaos, he even helped me get a different phone that was cheaper but just as good as the one I was originally going to buy and Im extremely grateful for that. Honestly my experience here was amazing and the workers here are so great!
Shawn was AMAZING! He deserves a raise! Initially went there to get off my parents plan and start my own with my husband (who was switching providers). Shawn showed us all the different plans and pricing, and I ended up staying on my parents plan and adding my husband to it! Shawns suggestions saved us a TON of money! The 7 of us ALL upgraded to new phones. It was already pretty late, and we went to the PG store because it was the only Verizon store that stayed open an hour later than the rest. Shawn was by himself and was stayed 4 HOURS AFTER CLOSING TIME to get us all of our new phones and transfer everything over. Almost every single one of us couldnt remember any of our passwords to sync our phones over and had to reset multiple times. Shawn was incredibly patient, kind, friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude and smile the whole night. We felt so bad but are immensely grateful for him. He had every right NOT to be. He even came in the next day on his day off to get my husbands phone situated because everyone to call the night before was closed, and we needed to get his old number transferred. So many more things to say, but he went above and beyond in every little and big thing we needed. Were SO THANKFUL for him and our experience with Verizon. Shawn gets a 50/10 for me!
I was stressed out cause of my Debit Card, which every month automatically pays my Verizon cell phone bill. But I had some fraudulent charges and my debit card was cancelled out and a new one issued. I forgot to notify Verizon and my cell phone got shut off. And I had problems with my new debit card and the bank had to issue me another one and I am without a debit card to pay Verizon. I went to the bank, I got money out of my account and went to Verizon in Pleasant Grove to pay my bill so I could get my phone back on. Shaun whom assisted me at the Verizon store, did an amazing job with understanding my situation. He was very professional at his job. I have a working phone now and a big relief from the stress of this incident. Shaun---#1 and a awesome Verizon employee.!!!

Its been 4 yrs since Ive bought a phone and now I remember why. Very slow service. More interested in making a sale then caring about the customers needs. Sold me a phone in another store. Then argued with me about buying a bundle to save me money. Asked me questions like do you usually make decisions like this when declining a warranty. I literally paid an extra $100 dollars so he would shut up so I could drive 20 minutes to another store to pick up my phone 30 minutes before the store closed. Also how dare you ask the sales rep to give me a nps score to his face.

Recently switched here from T-Mobile and MacArthur was fantastic! He explained how the whole process would work with switching and was very honest and helpful. When we came in the next day to make the switch, he literally stayed like 30+ minutes after they closed while our phones were still backing up and updating.Fantastic service as well! Never switching again. Verizon is the way and is the best carrier hands down!

I had a very good experience at Verizon in Pleasant Grove. The Sales Professional that assisted me in purchasing my phones, Reilly, I believe was his name, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was nervous because in the past, it’s always been such a hassle getting and setting up a new phone. But, Reilly offered a ton of help, and he made everything go smoothly. I would highly recommend Verizon in Pleasant Grove if you’re looking to get a new phone or iPad.

I had been having nothing but problems with the Provo mall Verizon store so I reached out to this one and had the pleasure of having MacArthur help me. Ordered my phone online and was told it was ready to pick up. Arrived at the store and waited and waited while the one cashier played on his phone while ‘helping’ another customer. (Not sure with what, he wasn’t engaged with them for 90% of the time they stood at the cashier stand). While 3 of us were waiting to be helped, he told us he could only help one customer at time? After 15 minutes, a fourth customer walked in and somehow, magically could be helped (even though the first customer was still standing at the cashier stand).This place is either woefully understaffed, or needs to train the one person who is working to multi task.I’d choose a different Verizon store.
These guys were super knowledgeable and informative. I was very impressed with their safety procedures during the pandemic and appreciate their commitment to the health and safety of their customers.McArthur was very courteous and quick in helping me check out and I got everything that I needed.
Really terrible slow service, stood around for about 20 minutes. Never even got a, “We’ll be with you in one minute” or anything. Store employees should be trained on basic customer service before they’re allowed to help anyone.

I just wanted to thank Shawn and MacArthur at this location for not only highly meeting, but truly EXCEEDING my expectations for HORRIBLE, DECEPTIVE service.So yea I have the recorded calls of both you lying about the $150 being used ANYWHERE when in fact it is only good at Verizon. You lied about the credits being issued. You didn’t even say thank you after wasting three hours of my time. Your district manager sides with you guys and openly condones deceptive and unethical conduct. You know you lied and I have you on recorded calls doing it. Yet you want to continue to deny any wrong doing an refuse to make the situation right. You baited and switched the contract, which is illegal. Shame on you.As I told you in the store, all cell phone companies are here to screw consumers sideways, and your actions and lies have reaffirmed that belief more than ever before. Good job guys! It must be nice working for a company that pays you to lie and cheat people.
Every time I come here they are nice but it TAKES FOREVER. I come, wait a while and still no help so I leave to come back another time but every time they’re busy (always just 1 other person too and two workers yet they can’t help me when I walk in?) Their system is buggy and slow a lot, then they’re on the phone forever figuring out their system, confirmation emails aren’t sent, and so on. Just plan for a lot of time. I even tried to set an appointment to make it on my lunch break and they didn’t get to until a half an hour later and then their system was down...sadly the whole thing is not great.
They were so helpful and didn’t take all day! They also didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need! 10/10 would recommend :)

I’ve had a lot of difficulties with Verizon corporate stores in my time. So I thought, “let’s try PG Verizon.” Best decision ever. MacArthur was super friendly, understanding and cared about my needs and questions with my charging port. His other co worker with the beard also helped with additional information. Shout out to MacArthur and beard dude for treating me like Verizon would want me to be treated. Go Pleasant Grove.

Went in for a new phone and they had everything I needed. They were very friendly and didnt force me to wear a mask. Usually I hate going to Verizon but these guys made my visit much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this store!
Shawn at the PG office was incredible, I had a difficult situation and he was quick to find a solution, he had a great energy and made me feel well taken care of.
My wife’s phone broke, so i purchased an upgraded device on Verizon’s website and went to pick it up at the store at 7. Apparently Google and Verizon’s website both weren’t updated with the new hours, showing that they close at 8. So I roll up at 7pm sharp and try to check in, wearing a mask and everything, and some dude in the back of the store is literally hiding behind his computer monitor so I can’t see him.Doesn’t come to the door, doesn’t show his face, doesn’t explain the store’s changed hours, doesn’t apologize for the wrongly hours on Verizon’s website, doesn’t answer my multiple phone calls, just pretends I can’t see him as I sit there knocking on the door and Windows trying to get his attention. Really great customer service.

Like most phone places it’s a there a long series of steps to buy a new phone but they answered all my questions. I had no problems there, just be warned it gets pretty busy at noon so go in the morning or afternoon
He was awesome, WiFi was running slow so it took longer then we both excepted but made conversation, which made the time pass fairly quickly! Huge thanks to him for all his help today.

Pushy salesmen. Shawn wouldn’t let us leave without pressuring us to buy a watch, iPad, screen protector and case along with the one thing we actually wanted which was the new iPhone. Lied to us, didn’t explain pricing until he charged my card. Also... wasted 4 HOURS of my life.

I have been three times all of which Ive waited over an hour. There is also only ONE person working at a time. The first time I came in I waited for over an hour so we left. The second time we waited over an hour and finally got help but they didnt even have the phone so we ordered it; it was supposed to be there on the following Wednesday, I waited two weeks. I finally came back to get it after I waited and Ive waited over and hour for this visit. While waiting they were letting others go in front of us when we have been waiting, but only because theres will be just a few minutes.
I went in just to pay my bill and George was totally awesome, nice and personal. He helped me save money and get a new better phone. Thank you George.

This store, and specifically, Shawn and Austin are amazing. I ordered the pre-paid service online and after it arrived had nothing but problems trying to get it set up. I went to the American Fork store and had a horrible experience with the staff - it can only be described as extremely poor customer service.The long story short is we decided to give Verizon one more try and went to the Pleasant Grove store. I have never been treated better - Shawn and Austin went above and beyond to get the situation figured out. They are the reason I am keeping my service.

These guys are terrible. I was lied to about who they were (they hide Victra, and make it look like you are dealing with a factory store). They charged me a set up fee for 6 different phone lines costing an additional $150+ . They told me I would get my corporate discount, but it would take a couple weeks. I still havent seen it. I went to the REAL Verizon store and was told the plans they sold me wouldnt qualify for the discount. They Real Verizon store wouldnt have charged me the set up fees either. I tried working with the manager to get the set up fees back, but he wouldnt work with me. I called their customer support line and was told I was out of luck.After getting ripped off by these guys and wanted to just return the phones and go to the REAL Verizon store, but they wouldnt refund the set up fees, and they wanted to charge me a 30% restocking fee.TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!STAY AWAY!!!
We went in in October and got our new phones set up. They lied to us and charged us an activation fee AND a setup fee (verizon doesnt have a setup fee just Victra) which they screwed up and I had to setup the phones on my own. Then they told us our phones were free and have since found out that they are billing us monthly for them (I NEVER would have picked this phone if it wasnt free). Then when we went to talk to them about it, they swore at my brother and kicked him out of the store. I HIGHLY recommend you go to the real Verizon store as everything we were told here has turned out to be a lie.

Well I typed out my whole awful ongoing experience with Verizon Victra and I exceeded the word count for google reviews. Bottom line, I have lost $70 trying to switch over to Verizon, I’ve spent 20+ hours in Verizon stores in the past two months, I’m paying for Verizon service that I can’t use, and because of mistakes on Verizon’s part I haven’t had a phone for a month now.If you’re thinking about switching to Verizon, save your sanity and do not.

So disappointed with this place! After 9 years of being a Verizon customer I closed my account. I bought the iPhone 11 for 700. After a bunch of fees, and taxes it was more like 900. I was hesitant to buy it because of the size but was reassured if I didn’t like it, I could bring it back. At the end of the 14 day return period, I decided the phone was just to big for my liking. I went to return it, I was going to get a different phone. They wouldn’t let me. On the paperwork it says you have 14 days. I was there exactly at two weeks and they said I was too late! I was so confused at why! The kicker is, he asked if I wanted him to call the “helpdesk” for clarity and I said yes. Helpdesk said yes, they can return it, this is their last day they can return it and he sat there and argued with “Helpdesk” until they agreed with him that I couldn’t. Wow. Now I am out 900 with a phone I dislike and he didn’t care a bit.
Rashaan is a stud, took care of me when switching over from AT&T. Very happy with the service he provided and stoked on the new phone. I recommend this location, ask for Rashaan he will shoot you straight and get you taken care of
I have been a Verizon customer for years. I love Verizon but this store makes the company look bad. They are extremely pushy, rude and only want to sell you what they want. They dont stand behind anything and tbey lie to the customers. I will never go to this store again!!! Nor will I buy anything from Victra either!!!!

2 reason why: This store would not answer the phone, and when they did they placed me on hold without a single word.My dad went in to get a new phone and the guy messed up his account so bad, that my dad has to spend over 4 hours fixing all the issues. When getting his phone he was told it would be 10 minutes, and ended up being an additional 3 hours.I would not recommend this location.
The employee I worked with was nice and helpful and the store was clean. I just get frustrated with all the useless set up fees, which is a Verizon corporate issue not this store specifically.
