Good place to shop. Affordable prices for some items. Was able to find my fave stuff except for the Palm Nut so that was disappointing. Clean and easy to look for items though. I’d recommend it.

Seriously, 99 Ranch, you can do better than this! Your sales is supported by local Chinese community, because you are the single largest market of Asian food and grocery, yet things sold at your store is with mixed quality.Today I got this Liangquanqimei “Jay Chou” pancake, which is our family’s favorite, and we have been buying this brand/type many many times. However, the item I got today (9/7/20121) is already passing “best before date”. If it’s 50% off, I can easily spot it, by checking the back and all that. BUT, there’s no obvious discount tag, and this one is already 3 months passing the date. It’s taste, let me put it, like some chemical flavor with stale taste, dry, and really bad. I know this is not something expensive, only $3.99, but one bad shopping experience could easily ruin one’s impression towards everything else sold in the store.Not even to mention some other groceries bought there, like lychee is not sweet at all, dates being pretty dry and not sweet at all…..99 Ranch, enough is enough. You should really label that in a very obvious location that the item is passed best taste date, or simply put it down from your shelf!!!

My experience shopping in this place was a little bit mixed, I love the place, is big, nice and very clean, but staffs should be more friendly and the price is a little bit in the high end!

Nice location, but my experience at this Ranch 99 could’ve been greatly improved. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by musky, stale air and realized there wasn’t great air circulation. Better air ventilation should be a solid requirement, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. I believe there is a bar to basic hygiene requirements when handling raw food at cashier register. The cashier did not clean their hands and workstation after touching liquid from raw food from the previous customer. Will keep this updated

99 Ranch is a great place to go for fresh seafood/fish. The fruits and veggies here are usually amazing as well. Prices and parking at this location are good but service can be a bit slow at times, particularly at the seafood counter. But if you’re ever looking for any Asian ingredients for your next meal I can’t think of a better store to visit then this.

Bought a box of butane gas bottles and a pack of eight bottles were missing. Unfortunately, i only realized it until i got home. I called them and told them about it, as i suspected they didnt believe me. Thus, no solution was offered to me. Went in person and told them about the issue but they say didnt get my call and no solution was given. Oh well

I always go there to buy delicious cakes, lil bit on expensive side but it worth.On average a standard size of cake will cost $30- $36.

Nice place to buy some Nigerian, Singapore and Thai food ingredients- red bell pepper, noodles, Jasmine rice and different soy sauce. Just look on YouTube for different culture food and I go in to pick up ingredients, and I go to prepare it.

Place is great for a wide selection if you know what to find. The only problem for me is when you don’t know Chinese, it gets hard - and most staff don’t know English and not much of service as such because there isn’t anyone to help.

This local 99 ranch has been a staple in my grocery shopping. They always have such unique selections of food items especially in their fruit and vegetable produce section. I love to come here often in the summer season just to check out their what new option they offer. Recently, I bought some amazing dragon fruit that I have not seen in other supermarkets. It was delicious and juicy. As usual, the store is organized and staff is always happy to help!

Whenever there is a sales on an item, they put on the sticker but they don’t reflect it in their cashing system. I often see cases where I got regular charge even though there is sign saying it is on sales. Very annoying. I only visit this 99 ranch when Weee doesn’t have the item available.

Love the store. I (family too) usually come here when we are near Livermore. This store has all of the ingredients for Chinese food! It’s clean too (as it should be.) Fresh fish (yes swimming in tanks), very fresh vegetables, and all the sauces that you need are in this store.

They sold rotten fish to me so when I went to the store to ask for a refund, the employee at customer service was very rude and kept repeating the same thing, and shouted at my child multiple when she tried to explain. The manager came and hid the employee. When I asked for the employee to apologize for not only yelling at my child but for being rude, the manager avoided this. This is not the first time this location had spoiled food sold (with fruit and vegetables). The thought that any of my family members who ate the fish could have gotten food poisoning makes me shudder.

One of the rare clean and organized Ranch 99. They give hot deli coupons. Every $20 spent will get $1 deli coupon to redeem breads, hot food, BBQ, etc. On weekdays, when spending over $60, coupon doubles. On weeekends, double coupon only kicks in when spending over $80.

My favorite place to buy veggies! They always have the ingredients Im looking for and the veggies are so fresh. Bonus! You can buy grocery bags full of fresh veggies for under $30. I bought enough veggies for two weeks (they are so fresh they will last that long)- as well as a giant bottle of oyster sauce! They have Wonderful Asian ingredients and the store is so clean. The only thing I like to warn my American friends about... They sell all the ingredients to make all my favorite Chinese food... Fish with heads, chicken feet, bones! They have it all... It might be a little scary if you arent prepared. For those vegan gluten free people out there... You need to check out this store. Asian countries have a huge population of vegetarians and tend not to use as much gluten in all food.

This was the first time I went to this location. It has a pretty good selection of items. I didnt have trouble finding most things. Im not used to the store so it took me a little longer than it would at a store I am used to. I would come back and shop there again.

The perfect place to any kind of Asian food product. Actually, it doesnt even have to be food! Could be makeup product, alcohol or other household items. Spacious design and layout. They have a bakery department with cakes, cookies, other seasonal holiday items. If possible, come earlier in the day or later in the evenings so that itll be easier to find parking. But if not, there are always people coming and going.

The prices do not match! This is the third time happened to me. $2.09 eggs were sold to me at $2.99 (see receipt). When I caught price mis-matches every time, the manager there always have some excuses. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS AT CHECKOUT. I will keep watching them and report each every time when price mis-match happens!

If youve ever come on a Sunday, sometimes youll see a group of kids excitedly doing some shopping. They are on a grocery tour and learning how to grocery shop! I love that 99 Ranch does this. It seems super interactive and the kids are always laughing. And they dont get in the way of your shopping if youre worried about that!

Having a local 99 Ranch allows me to just pop in and out whenever I want. I can choose to come during the quieter times, so I can beat the crowds. The staff are always friendly and helpful when I dont know the exact name of what ingredient and they actually walk me to whatever Im looking for.

Wide selection of vegetables and fruits. For meat, better get there as early as possible as at the end of the day you wont find anything. Prices are decent. Recommend for weekly grocery shopping.

Very large store. Some of the spaces are leased to others. Has a nice dining area. Merchandise is practically floor to ceiling, lots of shoppers, always a good sign. A bank. A Sprint shop. Beauty type shops even more space available for those who serve the Asian market. A chain thats around the Bay Area. Staff is quite busy with selling and restocking.

Im a regular customer that comes her all the time at this 99 Ranch Market. Over all, this 99 Ranch Market is okay, but the staff here should be more friendly (basically the staff need to work on their customer service). This is because one time, I purchased a live crab and the person who works their handed me a crab that had 4 legs missing. Lucky, I noticed the crab was about to die, so I asked for another one and person was not very happy. Also, the prices on this store is a bit high for what you get.

The attitude of the staff in the deli area is poor, extremely impatient, and the cold attitude makes me feel like being poured cold water, feel no good

I love that 99 ranch has so many variety of juices, sodas, teas etc just like a convenient 7-11 would be in Asia. Thank you to all the hardworking staff for continuing to work during this shelter-in-place so that we can still get our essentials and wants during this time. My favorite recently to help me durin stay at home has been the calpico drinks (tastes like a sweet yogurt drink). They come in different flavors to choose from too. I can just pretend that our local ranch 99 is like a 7-11 in Asia!

I have been craving pears especially asian pears for some unknown reason. Perhaps it is this stay at home order that is making me have odd cravings. Asian pears are definitely superior to pears found at other supermarkets. They’re sweet, so juicy and super flavorful. And right next to it, I found some dragonfruit too! Wanting to increase my vitamin C to help boost my immune system and the fruits here are the way to go!

Asian store with wide variety. Great seafood options available, including live seafood. Bakery is well stocked and has great options to try. Freshly cooked food also available at reasonable rates. Space available for eating. Couldnt find rest room after searching for a long time. Traditional Asian utensils n snacks are very limited.

Super fresh vegetables. Do I even dare say that it could be similar to Costco? On a more doable non-warehouse version of it. Easier to tackle and won’t get sucked into a time vortex. All the sauces I need. I bought some thai green curry marinade and simmer mixes with some coconut milk. With fresh rice noodles and vegetables. One stop shop for all I needed!

I like to go here because of fresh fish,Crabs and Shrimp Only. Very busy place. Parking is limited but easy if you park little far. Deli/Bakery stuff is good. Cleaner than the average Ranch 99 (much better than the 99 in West Dublin). There are some items I buy here because prices are reasonable or an ingredient or sauce is hard to procure elsewhere. Their vegetables and seafood are pretty good, but Id buy meats elsewhere. Hot foods are reasonably priced, but the quality could be lacking. Probably in anticipation of the new Marina Foods to open kitty-corner from the SF Premium Outlet (next exit East on 580), this 99 has noticeably improved its cleanliness as of late. 👍

Great fresh seafood and far east products!

This is our first time at this 99 market. We were there to pick out lotus seed and dried lily for soup. They have a lot of selection and organic ones as well. This 99 reminds me of the ones I saw in LA where they have different little shops within the building. This 99 is like all others, clean and well organized.

Prices after overpriced even though sales. Love the free food coupons.

Tried the Hot Deli at 530..,DONT DO IT!! Thedim sum was crunchy and hard as plastic. The cashier couldnt communicate with English speakers. Other than that, the grocery areas were clean and the produce was clean and organized

The absolutely perfect place to go to for my hot pot party/gathering necessities. So much cheaper than going out to a hot pot restaurant and really captures the homey warm vibe having it at home instead surrounded by family or friends! 99 Ranch has all the varieties I can possibly need or even imagine up. From seafood balls, noodles, mushroom varieties, napa to all the different frozen meats & cuts and sauces. It might sound overwhelming, but the staff are always friendly and happy to help whenever I want some tips!

Good quality produce for a really low price. In general 99 Ranch is pretty specialized in their produce offerings. If youre looking for the usual vegetables, then you will have more selection at Safeway. But if you need Asian specialties in produce or meats and fish, then you have to come here. Their deli is great as well and the bakery is phenomenal. Asian cakes are lighter and less sweet than Western cakes.

Love this place. I commute and always take time to stop here. They have decent prices and the dim sum is good. Wish we had one locally.

This place had cheap grocery and great variety of asian products. Service is ok, depending on their age. They also have traditional Chinese pickle jars for sale and a variety of Asian products like travel and beauty products.

Vanjaram fish or king fish steaks are available here. If you want to handpick good selection is available on Saturday and Sundays.

Cakes are good and fresh but staff is not friendly they dont put name on cake and not giving options todo that. Bottom line they dont care about customer.

Great store. Well stocked, easy to shop, tons of fresh ingredients from a very large butcher shop and seafood section (with a large live selection), to a huge produce section with tons of fresh fruit and veg from all over the world. Some staff are more helpful than others, so if you are struggling to find something, dont feel bad about asking multiple employees for assistance.

Thanksgiving is almost here! 99 Ranch has a super good deal for thanksgiving day turkeys. For just less than $60 you can get a already prepared turkey with an additional platter of noodles! Say what. No cooking for me this year and I love that. Ill just worry about the sides and pick up the turkey the day of!

OMG the new 99 Ranch Market is unbelievable. I have been shopping at 99 Ranch Market for many years and I have never seen a 99 Ranch Market look so nice. They even have a bank and hot food area for take out or you can eat there. They even have a gift shop. But the 99 Ranch Market have fresh fish, meat and veggies of every kind. They always have all you need for the perfect Asian meal.

Its smelly but thats cause its full of fish and seafood. So much seafood. All fresh. Theyll kill and clean it right there. Love this store for lobster crab and clams.

This Ranch 99 was our go to place for asian supermarket blutul they open up a new one one near the outlet 1 exit West. However, this Ranch 99 seem to have more hard to find items than the newer store. There are plenty of parking for SUV and full size vans. Any bigger vehicles will have a hard time maneuvering around. Store is relatively clean and they have public restrooms.

I got 99 problems but finding Asian groceries aint one. Great one stop shopping. Produce and meat selection great. Has the usual services at the butcher counter. Deli and bakery cleaner than par. The roar of the deep fryer as they drop a whole fish is my message alert tone.

I mostly go there to by fresh seafood. Go check yourself you won’t regret. 😊

I have dropped by this market since 2013. There are fresh vegetables, live fishes, fruits, etc. I have loved this place so far. However, the shopping carts are too old to use, and the aisles are so narrow. I still love this market.

Nice east asian products. But I hope the owner invest some revenue to improve customer experience. It is hard to find a shopping cart in good condition. Flying flies, dirty rest rooms makes me don’t want to come again unless I have to. Only their products on the shelves look shiny, but I cannot say it was enjoyable shopping. Asian products here are reasonably priced.

99 ranch literally always have the exact stuff I am looking for no matter how obscure or how I don’t think they’ll actually have it. I was a bit down before they didn’t have Taiwanese fruit beer in addition to their Taiwan beer, but now they have two flavors, lychee and mango. Personally, I’m partial to the lychee. Great for a summer picnic when you want something refreshing!

Awfully long lines outside and then inside too. Terrible crowd management. Slowest checkout ever. And worst part is there’s no express checkout for those who have two items. Stood here an hour in line for three things
