I had great buying experience at East Bay Mini purchasing a 2022 Mini Cooper SE EV. This was the first time Ive ever ordered a car and salesman Colby Reed made it easy to do. The car was delivered in the time frame expected despite COVID related delays. Colby made the purchasing experience painless and fast and gave me a great price for my trade in. Our interaction with the sales associate Kimberlee AlMatari was exceptionally pleasant and friendly as well as businesslike and productive.  She was readily available, answered calls in person, and reliably informed us of the vehicles progress through shipping and preparation.  She helped us arrange to pickup the vehicle with the minimum time commitment and was at the showroom to help finalize the purchase and instruct as in the use of an electric car, with which we were unfamiliar.  Altogether a  good experience.

Both Kimberlee and Jakob were great to work with. They answered all my questions, were patient, and not pushy. The purchase process went smooth. 5 star rating for them.However, this dealership needs to streamline the closing process for cash buyers. There are many ways to verify funds and quickly. Way too much waiting around for paperwork to be processed and to meet with finance rep, Mr Kong, and then his efforts to oversell services made me want to walk!Rating for close process is two stars!I have purchased many cars with no financing and the entire process has always been smooth and fast.

Simple process as you drive up to the service center. Postings were clear and check-in was flawless. MINI tended to any concerns I had and I was in and out of there in no time. They even washed my car. I chose East Bay MINI for their weekend service availability which was convenient. I’d do services with them again in the future.

Just got 2022 MINI Cooper SE last week. Due to the global supply chain issue, the purchase took quite a long time, but East Bay MINI did their best to make things much easier. My salesperson was Jason Burger, and he was extremely easy to work with, and also very communitive. He was very transparent on each updates and was very professional. East Bay MINI showed great professionalism and hard work in the entire vehicle purchasing process - from the initial meeting to finance sign-off. Definitely will recommend to my friend.

My car was crispy clean inside and out after regular service with their complimentary car wash. I also received a video of inspection process with all necessary suggestions. First time bringing my Countryman in for routine service at this Mini location and I was very pleased with the transparent process. No hard sell on things I didnt need, just an oil and filter change and a replacement battery. I was notified by video from the service center of the battery life, showing a digital alert that it was time for a replacement. I really appreciate the video validation behind the recommendation. It instills trust and I will definitely be returning to this location for future service.

We are very impressed and satisfied with the service provided by the staff at East Bay Mini in Pleasanton.We were in market for a Mini and were helped by Sales Rep James Ylagan. James was very patient with us as we test drove used and new Minis and was not at all pushy in forcing us to make a decision. We got sufficient test drive time and he provided honest consultation and opinions.When it came to financing and closing the purchase agreement, we worked with Gabriel and received very courteous service. The whole process is so smooth and easy; I think from deciding to sell it, getting a value appraised. both electronically and physically, and sold happened within 24 hours with my effort being little to none. The service is excellent. I have been in contact with various Mini dealership, and East Bay Mini got my business, even though I have to drive for an hour to get there. In fact, I purchased my 2021 Mini entirely through telephone conversation. The sales associate, Colby Reed, actually located the car meeting all my criteria from a boat coming from England (putting new meaning to FOB)! I got my dream car in less than two weeks, while all the time expecting to wait at least 4 months to order the car from the factory. The sales force is competent, honest and responsive. I would definitely recommend East Bay Mini for its excellent service and dedication to customers needs.

The service department was excellent especially Will Walker when I asked information about my car he responded very quickly and explained what was wrong with my car and promised my car would be done by Tuesday and it was. The only thing that I didn’t give a five star when I got there loaner car the person was a little cold about if I didn’t bring car back by Tuesday I be in trouble. I have gotten loaner cars from Mini from Stevens Creek didn’t feel like that.

The Hendrick team at East Bay Mini took really great care to make sure all of my concerns were addressed and corrected! I don’t feel like I was overcharged or quoted for repairs I didn’t need. We have been doing business with East Bay BMW/Mini for years and years. Recently, there has been BUNGLES AFTER BUNGLES @The Parts Dept. In May of 2019, I purchased a set of headlight spray nozzles (2 in a set). My customer paid OVERNIGHT shipping and I paid East Bay Mini over $30 extra to have it shipped overnight. A single nozzle arrived overnight. I paid $30 overnight freight for ONE nozzle? Called the dealership right away. I paid for 2 nozzles. I still need my second nozzle! Another 5 working days later, the second piece showed up. By this time, the customer had already demand a refund and left. Forward another month later(06/18/2019). I bought more parts. Attached are the receipts. The UPS confirmation paperwork, the parts invoice and the box that I got. One beat up and squashed box (the content was not damaged). Again, I called the parts dept right away and explained that I only received ONE box. The employee assured me that he would look into it and get back to me before the end of the day. I also called UPS Freight and provided the tracking number as requested. They also assured me that someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours. Hours turned into days and no one called me as previously stated. After numerous calls and emails to them and still no answer, I got my supervisor involved on (07/03/2019). East Bay Minis answer to him was ...it was returned to us. You guys wont accept it because you said it was damaged... WHERE IN ANY OF THE PAPERS, I ATTACHED, DID IT SAY IM DENYING THE SHIPMENT?! YOU SEE THAT BEAT UP BOX? I ACCEPTED THAT, DIDNT I?As of today, 07/05/2019, no one, I mean not an employee, a shipping/receiving personnel, not even a manger has called me to tell me how they are going to get my parts to me. Do they want me to just tell my customer, Im sorry, East Bay Mini wont ship it to me, or Im so sorry. East Bay Mini wants you to pay another $200 before they will ship it.After this transaction has been resolved, it will take a miracle for me to EVER do business with East Bay Mini again.***UPDATE***It is now Friday 07/05/2019 @2:20 in the afternoon. After a little over a week, I finally got a call from Jimmy (Thank you Jimmy). He didnt call to tell me when Ill get my parts. He said he has to hear what UPS has to say to him first. He called because he saw this google review. As a seller, shouldnt you take care of your customer right away? Jimmy, I dont care what UPS tells you. I just want my parts. My customer is waiting. My car had an unexpected repair needed--something that most owners would not expect to be broken at this point in a cars life. Upon request, we were offered a discount and the service rep was willing to contact the factory rep. This resulted in 90% of the costs being covered by the factory. My service advisor Jeff is super nice and very accommodating. The problem I have is that whoever worked on my car stated that I had 2 nails in 2 different tires. I was told I could purchase 2 tires at $380. plus an aligment for $149. I brought the car to Big O to have the 2 tires checked, they found 1 nail in the front drivers side and no nail in the back tire. I would have been charged for a tire I didnt need. Big O did not charge me to patch the tire I would have been out over $500 if I had agreed to the work.

I must say the entire experience with East Bay Mini was fantastic. From our initial inquiry regarding the sale of our Mini, to the scheduling of the appt, to the actual visit for the Bluebook appraisal was efficient. Kimberlee AlMatari was absolutely wonderful to work with!!! Talk about Customer Service. She was welcoming, thorough, kind and truly a great representation of East bay Mini. The price offered for our car was fair and we appreciated the lack direct and upfront approach. The day of sale was a particularly stressful day because my partner truly loved his Mini. It was his first car after moving here to the states. But Kimberlee and the staff at East Bay Mini made the experience a positive one and for that we were thankful. This experience has definitely made us consider looking at BMW for our next car purchase.
