We just moved to Pleasanton recently. The first time we went there was back in July for my daughters 2nd Covid-19 vaccine shot(she got the first shot in Walgreen near my previous home so we had to go with Walgreens for the 2nd shot). Even with an appointment, we had to wait for an hour to get the shot. I went there again today for my daughters prescription refill. I paid the copay via the Walgreens app ahead of time. When I went in and waited at the express line, the lady at the window said that they didnt offer express pickup and I needed to wait in the line. There was only one person serving customers at the window. I waited for half an hour. When its my turn, the lady said that they didnt offer express pickup due to Covid-19, I told her that I had been using express pickup in the walgreens near my previous home, then she said each store had its own policy(so it has nothing to do with Covid then?). I further said that the line was long and I had to wait for a long time, the lady simply responded with you can go to other stores with shorter line. Its just unbelievable! Throughout the whole conversation, there was no apology for having customers to wait for so long. It seems the employees are not happy working there. With the limited two visits I had, I definitely see management and attitude issues at this store. I am transferring all of my familys prescriptions elsewhere.

The managers and employees at this Walgreens are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and incredibly rude! The refused to process photos that I took with my own personal Cannon camera saying they are professional photos and they cannot print them!! WOW, just WOW, so if you invest in a great camera and try to get them printed, dont expect Walgreens to process your photos taken with anything other than your cell phone!

Decent for getting vaccinated… but I had a 9:00am appointment which they told me to show up 15 minutes early for but didn’t actually give me the shot until 9:22AM.I’ll give three stars because the doctor was very quick and professional but they need more than just one person to check in people for vaccines and fill everyone’s prescriptions.Don’t go at a busy time…

It’s unfortunate that Walgreens at Santa Rita continues to decline when providing service.Almost Every prescription I have needed to pick up was delayed.I have been given a lot of misinformation, starting with insurance issues, prescriber not sending the prescription, questionnaire not done on ipledge site, etc all inaccurate.Despite multiple visits in person and telephone calls, they have continued to show either they are overwhelmed or short staffed and hence provide poor service.I have been a walgreen patron for 14 years but sadly am moving all my prescriptions and my family’s to another store.

Incompetent staff at the photo center, me and my friend ordered photo pickup and I was the pickup person for my friend, the store manager doesn’t want me to pickup more than one photo orders thinking I’ve ordered both myself. Even after incessant explanation that the orders were from different households and different accounts, the manager just didn’t want to listen and stand by the one pickup per person line.

This store is the worst. Staff is extremely lazy, unprofessional, absolutely unhelpful. The manager is the same terrible one, even worse, almost not presented at all. That probably explains all other issues with this location. WE WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

Decent Walgreens! We use this one for our main pharmacy, there’s usually 1-2 people in line but they’re always getting after it back there, I’ve never seen them have the sort of molasses pace that seems to be standard at a lot of pharmacies. Also they sell like, bottled water and sodas and stuff.

My husband, my son, my daughter-in-law and I redeemed the photo print from T-mobile Tuesday yesterday and it went through. But when my daughter-in-law and I would like to take the photo prints in this store, the Indian employee told us that just 1 for 1 household and she did not want to give them to us. I was very mad at her because of her rude manner. Then she called her lady manager. Fortunately, the manager was full of understanding. Im from other state. To be honest, I never experienced like this before. Hopefully, Walgreens employs polite and friendly employees.

I wish I could give no stars. Always, I give feedback to any place I visit, but this Walgreens, and specifically the pharmacy dont care about any feedback. I received a text message on Sunday telling my medication is ready for pick up, and on Tuesday I received a reminder to pick it up. I went on Wednesday, and the surprise was that the system shows that there is no medication ready for me. When I showed the message to the pharmacist (Tung), he admited that the corporate system is broken. Whats even weired that they dont have the medicine in stock and I have to wait, may be, couple of days to order the medicine. I called the insurance and I found that they processed the order 3 days ago. This wasnt the first time and will not be the last. Today, marked my last visit to this place. I switched to CVS abd highly advise my neighbors in Pleasanton to switch to CVS.

10/20/20 @ around 1030 in the morning I was looking for pain relief cream. The store manager DESMOND TAI then came to me and asked if I needed help. I did, he then proceeded to tell me and everyone in the store near us that he saw me put something in my pocket. After repeatedly saying I didnt and showing him the contents of my pockets, he still said I had something in my pockets. I had no other option but to grab the first thing I could, pay and leave, before something else happened. Im curious as to why I was accused with no evidence. It could have been the menacing way I was dressed in the store. I wore a Carhart shirt, Nike shorts, and Jordan shoes. Please help me out if there is a dress code or something I can do to make Desmond feel more comfortable while I shop in his friendly store

If I could give no stars I would! DO NOT get pictures printed here! If they think your photos were taken by a professional they will not give you your photos despite the fact that you can prove that they were indeed taken on your IPhone.... never have had an experience like this...

Inspite of the negative reviews, I havent experienced those conditions. In addition to adequate staff, there are call buttons in each aisle should you want to chat with a staff member. Parking is easily available even for the disabled (which I am). Many other stores in the same area, so you can shop for different items nearby.

I set an appointment online for a flu shot. They expected me to still stand in what look like an 1hr long line, even though I had an appointment. Whats the point of taking appointments when youre not going to honor them. People set appointments for a reason because they have other places to be than waiting in an hour in line. Unprofessional and poor customer service!

Walgreens Pharmacy in Pleasanton needs a complete overhaul in terms of how they process large numbers of customers. They need an entirely new floor plan, more servicing windows, a larger seating area and a larger staff. These are obvious and serious customer service problems that need to be addressed at the corporate level SOON or this pharmacy will cease to exist. Customers will seek and find better solutions.

The staff knows the right ways to clear medicine orders. Whenever I have an insurance or an approval problem they tell me not to worry and take over. Theyre persistent, kind and efficient at what they do. Its nice to be greeted by name each time I visit; they make each interaction a personal one with a positive attitude and a smile. Thanks!

Specifically in reference to the pharmacy: Incompetent. Called to get a refill, was told I couldnt for another month. The fool thought I had picked up the Rx recently, but it was from LAST YEAR. Even though I told him this, he ignored me, so I said Id check my records. I confirmed that I was correct, called back, and had to wait 10 min for someone to pick up the phone. Same dude. He did not know how to check which prescriptions I had on hold. Had to wait again for someone else. Im still not confident they checked my records correctly, but how will I ever know? Will have to go back to the doc for a new Rx.Totally lost my business.

Don’t know why I keep coming here, but after today it will be my last. I come here mostly to drop off fed ex ground packages, and I’m there before the fed ex guy even shows up, and then they get to me after he shows up- after I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes, after they’ve helped other people who were in line after me. They never have enough people working, nobody knows what they’re doing. I do not recommend.

I had a prescription pickup at the Pharmacy. The lines can be long during busy hours, but customer service is exceptional. The Pharmacy staff is understanding and does a good job with handling customers - long wait though

Today my wife went in to pickup a prescription and was told that they did not have the prescription, so my wife called the doctors office and ask if it was sent and they said yes and it was confirmed, she told the person at the counter, the person at the counter referred her to the pharmacist so the she talked to the pharmacist who was rude to her, she stated yes they have it, my wife said the person at the counter told her they did not have it and the RUDE pharmacist replied the she doesnt know, she doesnt normally work here, what kind of customer service is that. will not be recommending this pharmacy to anyone... Rude pharmacist....

DO NOT I repeat do not get your passport pictures here! Both my husband and my pictures were rejected for not following the strict rules of passport pictures which completely messed up everthing! I truly believe the staff is not trained on how to do it properly.

Wrong price was rung up by system. When brought up to cashier she said I probably got it from wrong area. I took photo and showed her. She argued it had slight different UPC code. She was rude and then not thankful for business.
