Excellent experience! I have never seen any indian store this much of clean, organized. If youre looking for fresh and authentic indian vegetable then dont go anywhere else. Vegetables are so fresh with very good quality. You wont find these type of quality veggies any where else... Mark my words!
Theres a huge section of fresh produce, a variety of frozen foods and Groceries. The prices are really good. Also, There are some goods that can be purchased at the register if youre feeling hungry. Theyre friendly and I would definitely shop here again.
An excellent range of traditional Indian foods and spices. Theyre freshly cut and packed vegetables are fantastic and convenient. Being a Brit, what I love most, is that you can find a great range of UK made Cadburys chocolate bars, Mcvities chocolate biscuits, ginger nuts, Rich Tea and other biscuits, Heinz baked beans, Ribena, Vimto. I visit here often, the staff are friendly and Im always buying their fresh home made pickles. Theyve always got recommendations for things I should try. There are other nearby Indian supermarket, but you cant beat the family feel of Kamal Spices.
Very careful while buying from this store . They don’t show the price of the produce during checkout. Please check the printed receipt after purchase. Often products are too pricey and they charge 2 times for the same item. Without checking the receipt you have no way to verify. I would avoid going to the store.
Great place to get vegetables and fruits, though they place is a bit pricey
Great place for groceries. Typically I find the items here which are not available elsewhere. The owner is very helpful and responsive.
There vegetable are awesome and super fresh. The shop owners are really good and nice people. I dont think I can shop anywhere else.
Excellent food items and great service.
Very neat and clean but a tad bit expensive.
I would go here for some specific Indian stuff which is not available in some other Indian stores . But in terms of pricing and availability of all kinds, I would go to my regular Indian store .The price are sometimes doubled - an toothpaste which usually is 3.49 $ costed me 6.99$ for which I was surprised and disappointedThe store is small yet resourceful
Very nicely managed store. Items are organized very well. Though this is a very small place, they have an amazing number of items sold. I love their fruits and vegetables in particular. This is the only place where one can get good guavas in season. On the negative side, their pricing is always above the rest - this applies to almost all the items they sell.
Good collection of Indian grocery..Bit expensive & cramped for space.
Quality produce and one stop place for Indian groceries.
Indian vegetarian grocery. Bit tight spaces. Good chapatis.
Fresh and cut Indian vegetables. I find the vegetables to be very fresh here. Very good and friendly service. Always ready to go the extra step to help
So far best experience but not more options
Very clean and nice shop for Indian grocery
Their daily fresh samosas are the best samosas you can have in the Bay Area. Sweets & achaars on their counters with their name on it have both pretty good quality and taste as well. Its a mid size Indian grocery where u can get almost everything. Owner is nice and friendly.
Our go to place for groceries and Indian food/spices. They sell chopped vegetables, saves you a lot of time. The owner is friendly. They dont deliver, but if you text them the list of things you need, and they can keep it ready for you to pick up
Couple of things that I like1) you can call them ahead of time and they will keep the stuff ready. You can just pick up and leave after paying.2) they have cut vegetables that are clean and neat
Excellent, fresh vegetables....I have been coming here for the last 4 years. Best mangoes in the area.....especially the Banganpalli
Nice and fresh vegetables
Excellent quality products!
Compact and neat Indian store. It has all varieties of Indian groceries, snacks, vegetables. It has fresh samosas and ready to eat snacks.
Excellent mid-sized Indian grocery store. They have a bunch of unusual sweets in the front, including some that are actually healthy as well as tasty.
I go here for fresh vegetables and Samosas. They have probably the best samosas in East bay area.
Good quality products. Little pricier compared to other in the area. But have good quality.
Not as big or fancy as some of the new Indian grocery stores that have mushroomed around bay area but Kamal spices still manages to pack a punch in its 25x25 space. You will find here a great variety of both North and South Indian groceries and is THE BEST PLACE for freshly cut vegetables. E.g. White pumpkin, tindora, okra, doodhi thepla, fresh methi, 2-3 brands of Ragi Huri Hittu etc. Awesome! The freshly made rasgullas that they carry are delicious. Its run by a warm and friendly Gujarati couple who are always ready to help. I enjoy chatting with them in Gujarati. You can order things ahead of time, including cut vegetables for convenience. All in all, a great grocery store.
Best grocery place around Pleasanton. Small but clean.
Great place to get Fresh Indian Vegetables in Town.
Great serviceGood selection
This place sells Indian groceries and spices. Fresh cut veggies (not frozen) are great quality and convenient.
Price is big higher when you buy vegetables compared to surrounding grocery shop but no compromise in freshness
Small grocery store with fresh vegetables and carries all the the Indian grocery stuff.
They have good collection of leafy greens and vegetables, this snacks are super fresh. The best part is you get fresh bajra roti, theplas, ragi roti, chapati. On weekdays you might get freshly made Indian curries.
This place charge more even for packed branded items.
We have been buying groceries at Kamal Spices since 2005. Though they are pricey we love the fresh vegetables and the variety that they have.
More expensive than other Indian grocery stores in the area
Good variety & quality of Indian spices, vegetables, pulses etc. Bit on the pricier side.
Prices are definitely a bit high. Vegetables are fresh.
Was looking for Indian instant noodles and snacks and wasnt disappointed
Really good collection of pakistani and indian masaalas. They had almost all the Shan masaalas that you can think of.
Cool Lil spot.
Fresh vegetables, good selection of groceries, but congested store
Hello My Desi Friends,This is one the most places to buy indian groceries. All the prices are too high, for even small items. Take the case of aata Noodles, We get the same for $1.99 in New India Bazaar and Namaste plaza, But here it is sold for $2.99 why? Take Laxmi Ginger Garlic paste, Every where it costs $4.99, But here at this place its being sold for $5.99 Why ?. And just incase if you end up buying any Kharas, They are all expensive, and the worst thing is they are expired, Check the Expiry date for yourself and you will know that!I am in my life never ever going to step in this monopoly hill place...
Cut vegetables are easily available. Even the smallest thing I need I find there.
A great little grocery store
I bought cut tindora and it was a rip off. 0.7Lb costs $3.99. They did not have change for a dollar and conveniently decided to keep the change and pretend its no big deal.
Little expensive, but worth it. Convenient.
Very kind people at register.
