This was the first time buying from this place. To our surprise it has been a nightmare. We bought 2 love seats with the same fabric as the floor sample. The order was placed in April and we got the first love seat in August when we were supposed to have received it on June. The second one we still dont have, that one we were supposed to have received in September, but in talking to Angel the manager, they think it might ship at the beginning of November. In speaking to him he kept reminding us that we signed a contract and it says we have to wait without complaining about them missing datelines for deliveries. How can a company function in this manner?. We cannot cancel the purchase either. So before buying from this retailer, please read all of the fine print and expect the worse possible service. Once they sell you they forget you.No communication at all. You have to keep calling and following up because they move to the next victim without care.Worst mistake ever. We are so sorry we went into this store.Buyer beware.

I bought a traditional Lazy boy chair for my husband and we were really surprised at the quality. Unfortunately, the chair immediately made loud sweet noises that drive all of use crazy the squeaks are so loud you can hear the TV. The fabric ripped in a matter of months, arm fell off and when you move it to vacuum the whole upper part of the chair comes apart from the base. What a waste of $750.00. The warranty only covers parts not the labor to repair.

Unparalleled service and the best selection and quality of chairs for big and tall people in Dublin (I called a lot of other furniture stores). We have purchased a la-z-boy recliner a number of years ago and its held up well. We needed another one for my wife in the bedroom. Anita came over quickly and provided excellent service. She spent a lot of time to make sure we we got what we wanted. Due to my wifes orthopedic problems, we valued comfort and ease of use over anything else. She spent some time in various different chairs before making a selection. Anita was very patient and did not rush her into a decision. The companies products hold up well. We liked the new reclines have a cordless remote with 2 programmable position settlings.

Furniture shopping can sometimes be like car shopping.....enter the showroom and the sales rep pounce. But we had an experience nothing like that at the Pleasanton La-Z-Boy. We walked in, browsed a bit before Anita asked if we had any questions. Like most people, we knew why we we there and what we were looking for so we told Anita. She presented some options and let the furniture do the rest. She allowed us to find the solution we wanted, helping us refine it along the way until we got to just what we wanted. Nicely done Anita.

Wide range of recliners, sleep flat position, lift chairs and other furniture. People greet you on arrival and are available for assistance as you tour the store. They have basic models then you can upgrade the fabric to your choice. Lots of parking, although not necessarily close to entrance. Certainly wheelchair accessible.

Good furniture selection, but the sales rep is misinformed and told me I could cancel my order by just forfeiting the deposit. Less than a month later, I try cancelling my order and I am told that I cannot and still need to wait 6+ months for delivery.

She was fast and efficient making the process easy and enjoyable. We chose La-Z-Boy based upon quality of the product as well as warranty.

I explained what I was looking for and we discussed floor models and sales item. I arrived at the store and made my purchase within 15 minutes. I should receive my new furniture in a few days.

I ordered 2 very expensive Harbor swivel rocker recliners. It took 3 months to have them delivered. Then to my disappointment they were done incorrectly. I ordered swivel rockers and there were no swivels. I went to the Pleasanton store immediately to tell them about the error and was told they hadn’t ordered the swivel. The manager was out for a couple of days so he would call me when he returned. He called and told me that even though it was their error I would have to pay an additional $300. I complained and felt this was very wrong considering their error and the 3 months I had been waiting for them. He told me he could give me $100 off which wasn’t a very good deal considering I bought them on a 30% off sale so that was no extra savings. Now today I get a call to schedule the delivery of the swivels. I wasn’t going to be available that day so they said it would be two more weeks out before they could schedule the next appointment. I will never shop here again. Terrible customer service for the high prices they charge. Very disappointed.

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Pleasanton when we went shopping for recliners. Our salesperson, Anita Thorn, was very friendly and courteous when showing us around the showroom. She was knowledgeable, considerate, and gave us many helpful suggestions while still keeping in mind our preferences and our budget. Anita is tops when it comes to excellent customer service. We came away that day with a lovely, comfortable sofa recliner with two matching single recliners, and two end tables, which we know we will enjoy for years to come. Anita keeps us updated via e-mail as to when our furniture will be ready for delivery. Good customer service gives the customer satisfaction and joy that their money-spent was well worth it. We commend Anita on her excellent service. We have been La-Z-Boy customers for many years.

If I was able to leave negative stars, I would. Still trying to get a sectional sofa fixed that was broken when we bought it 5 years ago. The electric recliner has never worked, the reclining chase reclines but is crooked. There is also a tear along the seam of the electric recliner that started a month after we purchased it. I will also add that at the time of purchase, we were told the frame was metal. HA! No, the frame is wooden. After fighting for over two months to have our throw pillows delivered, we ended up picking them up ourselves only to find, after getting them home, that one of the zippers hadnt been sewn correctly, so there is a hole where the zipper should be sewn to fabric. This place is a joke. Six grand out the window.

They have nice furniture - something for everyone. Unfortunately, they are paid on commission and it really shows. The sales staff attack you when entering and want to immediately know if you are taken or not. They want to claim you as theirs even when you just want to walk around and see what they have. They claim to do custom work but are very limited in what they offer. We ended up returning and buying but first impression was not good at all.

Surprised by the low rating. We came by shopping for a recliner with no intention of purchasing yet. They had a lot of options. Daniel was helpful without being high pressure. We ended up finding a great sale price and even got an additional Yelp check in discount. Id recommend swinging by as they have a lot of selection at various price points.

We purchased a couch, recliner, and two end tables in June.The salesman was professional and knowledgeable.We were happy with delivery and all that.However the customer service and repair department are HIGHLY unprofessional. Its nearly impossible to speak with anyone in management.

We ordered 2 chairs...leather recliners. First the delivery, scheduled for 6pm - 9pm on a Tuesday night, as delayed to to mechanical issues with the delivery truck. They ended up delivering the chairs at about 11:00pm. Then, we noticed one of the chairs had a spot on one arm where the leather was flaking off (for lack of a better term). They sent a repair tech out to look at it. He wanted to color in the spot and we said that was not acceptable. He said that he would note that we refused the repair. I told him that this was not a repair and not acceptable on a brand new chair. Apparently you only have 3 days to return items and, unfortunately, we were out of town for 10 days just a couple days after the chairs were delivered. The Tech then suggested replacing the whole arm of the chair. That was on 8/28. Over 2 weeks later, we have heard nothing. I guess I need to call and follow up with them...

Buyers Beware: La-Z-Boy uses poor materials and does not stand behind their products. Learn from my mistake, I regret my purchase.I purchased a $4,000 sofa from La-Z-Boy and it came with a 12 month warranty for the sofa and 3 year warranty for the cushions. The sofa is lightly used by my family. The cushion materials started to deform after 12 months and are clearly defective. I contacted La-Z-Boy store in Pleasanton where I purchased it and La-Z-Boy‘s service center after 13 months of owning the sofa. They did not stand behind their furniture and honor their warranty for the sofa. The manager named Angel in Pleasanton mislead me when I purchased this product by convincing me the warranty covered what I was concerned about with the soft cushions when I asked questions about the materials. Their service center sent foam materials to my home address and tried to schedule a service appointment for $550 to fix the sofa which was promised to be covered originally. I’m extremely disappointed and will never purchase anything from the Pleasanton La-Z-Boy store or any La-Z-Boy furniture in the future.

Initially my experience with Lazy boy was very good. I purchased a chair for my 95 year old mother who has problems with sleeping in a bed because of back issues. Six months after the purchase an actuator that lifts the leg portion of the chair broke. I contacted Lazy boy and put in a claim for repair. It took two weeks to get someone to come out and look at the problem. Before the repair man showed up I took pictures of the part that was broken and gave them to the sales person that I dealt with originally, so as to make sure that there would be no delay. The repairman shows up and says that they would have to order the parts and it would be another two weeks before he could return. In the mean time my Mother slipped and fell trying to use the bed and was in the hospital for 3 weeks recovering. They came out and fixed the chair 1 day before she was released from the hospital. To say the least I was not happy with the service I received. Lazy-Z-Boy does use an outside contractor for their repairs and it seems that the communication between them and the contractor was where the problem occurred.

Paid $8000 for power recline leather LR set and stone top tables Added 5 year protection plan Table stained immediately and a technician was dispatch. Warranty denied because they claim tables werent sealed by manufacturer. La-Z-Boy Pleasanton denied because it was under warranty company (Their third party provider). Leather then started peeling of sofa (17 months later). Again, warranty denied (normal wear). Local employees avoided calls, neglected to return calls, etc. Look at their BBB rating and complaints

What can I say. Their fast to take your money in the showroom. 2 weeks and counting for delivery. Was supposed to be last Saturday (7days ago) called at last minute, it’s damaged, reschedule till today. I asked to be 1st on the list today as we had evening plans. No go- 3-6pm and it’s now 645pm.Pretty sad service

We are returning customers, having purchased living room furniture before.While we were Happy to take advantage of the advertised Presidents Weekend Sale on the motorized recliner we bought, we feel that the delivery and setup charges were ridiculously high for a recliner: Nearly as much as the advertised discount! Set-up consists of attaching two pieces together and plugging it in! Store is less the 6 miles from my home. So much for getting a break on the price!Feeling a bit shortchanged! :-(

I have been trying to get my couch fixed since September of last year. The customer service department just doesnt return calls. When they finally sent someone out, whom I thought was going to fix it, he said he was only there to inspect. That was in January. I only need to have the foam in the seats and back replaced since they lost their density in less than a year. Hopefully someone will read and revamp their customer service department and fix my couch!

Lazy boy used to be the go to place, my wife and I bought a 7k sectional couch 6 years ago. one of the main used recliners is broken and they cant repair or replace, they claim that they will only honor parts but not labor and the fabric is no longer available for purchase so I cant even replace it. I WILL NEVER BUY LAZY BOY AGAIN

At this moment, I can only give this store one star, because we cannot seem to get them to deliver our chairs on a morning that we are available. This is the third time now that we are trying to set up delivery with them. We have told them repeatedly that due to job obligations we need them delivered early in the day and they call us the day before and give us a three hour window outside of our availability. Perhaps I will give them another couple of stars if I ever get my chairs, but right now I am not too happy.

I had a store credit and needed to use it. I knew what I was looking for and did not see it on the floor but we found it on the kiosk and it was just perfect for the space. I have worked with Anita over the last year and she was so patient with me as I dealt with family illness and could not make it in. 《 BUYER BEWARE 3 DAY RETURN POLICY 》Been a long time lazy boy customer, in the past couches use to last 15,20 years.We purchased a leather recliner couch with all the bells and whistles, in about a week and a half wenoticed it wasnt as comfortable as it was in the showroom. We tried to return it and thats when wefound out about the 3 day return policy. Shortly after that the arm broke and they replaced it, it broke 3more times, now I think we have a lemon. A year goes by with 4 repairs on the same arm, and now theywant us to pay for the repair, no way defective part, and we have a three year extended warranty. Called warranty at least 3 times. They said they were going to do something about it but never did. Found out this place is aIndependent ownership not a corporate lazy boy, did not know that till after the fact, now Im stuck with a broken couch that is very uncomfortable.P.S. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Lazyboy Pleasanton rates extremely low in customer service. We purchased a sectional several months ago that was delivered damaged. I had to make multiple phone calls trying to get a response from Pleasanton Lazyboy that a replacement part was ordered. The inexperienced front counter girl provided nothing but attitude. She wanted to pass on her responsibility to another department. I purchased from Pleasanton Lazyboy and shouldn’t have to call the service department. Not once did the Pleasanton Lazyboy store call us to to inform us when the part would be replaced. Nor has Pleasanton Lazyboy contacted us about the status of replacement. Three months later we still don’t have our replacement part nor has Pleasanton Lazyboy called us to provide an update. Again I had to follow up with Pleasanton Lazyboy about replacing a simple foot to my $3,000 couch. What is it going to take to get what I paid for? Let’s see if they call me back with a solution.I love my couch but will never purchase anything from Pleasanton Lazyboy Good luck to you if you need Pleasanton Lazyboy to stand behind a piece of damaged furniture.
