Prices are lower than some of the second hand stores and Facebook Market. Quality of items is better/higher than other second hand stores

They have fairly new items and some new. They have nice furniture, tables, wall hanging, just about everything at great prices!! And for that reason I love turn style!!!

Very inconvenient for consigners. During Covid19 masktime, consigners must wait in the store while their items are inspected for accpetability. This often takes up to 45 minutes. If you call ahead to determine waittime, you get a very lengthy recorded message, but you cant speak to anyone in the store. Very customer unfriendly.

Overall a good selection and prices are not bad. Staff usually pleasant. Id like them to do better folding my clothes after purchase. They just stuff them in the bag..

Whoever does the buying for this location could do much better. There are several items that dont belong on hangers. This is supposed to be better than Goodwill, but there is nothing in here that I cant find there( (as far as the clothing). The shoe selection is pretty good, and my husband did find an AMAZING jacket, so there is definitely promise.

Let me just start by saying if I could give Turn Style Consignment zero stars I would. I have been a consigner here since they opened there first store. For years, I consigned my clothing and received 50% of the profits & was told that would never change because I was grandfather in at 50%. Well, yesterday when I went to pick up my check I noticed that I had now been demoted to 45% (the same amount all new consigners get). When I called to get this straightened out I was told that everyone is at 45% now. Apparently they do not understand the meaning of the term grandfathered in. In addition to this mistreatment, they have now implemented a new store policy that states if you want your unsold clothing back, you have to buy it back from them at the rate of $1.00 per item. Yes, you heard it right, you pay them $1 per item to get the clothes THAT YOU OWN back! Just one more way this company abuses their consigners. Bottom line, unless you want to be treated like dirt, youll take your items elsewhere for consignment.

If you consign here, be very clear on your understanding of what your commission will be. We thought wed be given the choice of cash vs. store credit on our recent furniture sale after it sold, but I was later told they default to cash if its not specified, which gives you much less value for your consigned item. I was then told you can only change this preference once a year.

There used to be some really cool finds but has been a little dry lately. Still a way better option than other surrounding thrift stores and has quality items.

Very disappointed with their new policy of charging the person bringing in the items a fee to pickup their own unsold merchandise. We have been consigning with Turn Style for many years and now no longer recommend this business.

Real disappointed in this store. I used to work at the Roseville location & that’s maybe why my standards were so high when I decided to come shop at the Plymouth location. I asked if they could call over to Roseville & have them check my account for me & the cashier responded, “Oh. Are you buying something?” I replied, “well, not yet because I’d like to know how much I have on my account first.” And she says, “Well I can’t call over there unless you’re buying something. You could call yourself, though.” And walked away.I couldn’t help but to laugh because I know that was a lie. I know how the systems work. I know what the policies are. It just blew my mind. They also had a ton of things out on the floor that was supposed to be next season items & were even dated for next year. And so many items that were from June (I went in beginning of October) & weren’t even marked down. Lol I’ll probably not go here again, to be honest.

I dropped off a number of clothing, jewelry, and household items (placing in clear bin and hanging items as instructed) on Tuesday. Returned Tuesday night to see which items were marked for consignment to discover that my items were entered into the computer system under 3 different consignee accounts and non of the items under my actual account.- At I not stopped in and discovered this, I would be out a lot of money. How many other items that I have dropped off never make it into your system under my account.

Just left this place after wasting hours of my afternoon. I took my clothes in and left them about 1:45 to 2:00. They told me to come back at 3:30 and that would be my turn. At 4:10 I left with my clothes and nobody cared. Most of the clerks were eating and talking. One of them said to me, Oh Good-bye.

Its always really busy here, especially during lunch on the week days, but Im always able to find someone to help. Clothes rotate pretty frequently and always a good selection. Some items are overpriced, but if you consider the brands you are getting and the quality, you are getting a good deal.

First 4 of them ignored me cause apparently they lost some brownies somewhere and all scrambling to look for it. Then I say where do I check out. Ignore...then I say it again shes like up front.. I said where is up front? no one is there. In a distracted crabby voice Shes like just go there and wait they will take care of u. Then I get up there and she adds up my items. I only have a 100 on me and she says Im sorry I cant take that no change. I might have went and got a card but they didnt deserve my money and I didnt need the items that bad. What kind of store dont have access to change?

To clear, for womens clothing or the homes side, this would likely be a 5 star review. However, im a man, shopping in the ever dwindling mens section, and its getting increasingly sad. Im not sure if its a vicious circle causing thing (fewer mens items means things dont sell as fast, means fewer people are bringing in mens clothing and so on) but whatever the cause the department is half or less of its size from 18 months or so ago.Unfortunately, the quality of items offered has dwindled as well, a recent visit saw several Target store label items in the mix.Pricing is largely fine, but a few brands are priced well above their relative value, while others can be had for an amazing deal- if you are consigning good, but lesser known mens brands, be sure to make them aware of it. Again it goes back to the primary issue of low volume, low selection. The buyers likely just dont see enough to be aware of an items worth.Great staff, and as noted, likely much higher rating for other departments.

So pathetic. I was just in there and said they had to be on hangers. I didnt have hangers. But last week they supplied hangers to out stuff on. Will never come back to this place or company again.Lost service, hope you are happy.

Did not have the experience that I normally do here. Lady that checked in my items was flippant and took longer than usual to check on my items. She did not see quality either. I brought in some Pottery Barn items and a jewelry box from Italy. Not sure if I will bring my items here anymore.

They do not have carts or baskets to carry, so be prepared to carry everything, along with your squirming toddler.

Way overpriced for consignment. Lots of stuff to go through. Organized in a weird way.

It used to be fun looking through the furniture and buying pieces here and there. Now they have couches and buffets that are over $500. I guess I should go to Hom and look for sales! Very disappointing...

My seventeen year old daughter and I were visiting in the Minneapolis area from Columbus, Ohio. We love to shop resale and found TurnStyle online. We both found items to fit our style at reasonable prices. We are planning to visit at least two locations of TurnStyle while back in the Minneapolis area.
