I have never been disappointed with the meat! These guys are consistently proving their value in the community and now to see them partner with a food spot at the fair. I just had the sample platter - Holy Moly. Delicious and definitely competitive with the other fair food venues around. I also tried the Peaches and Dream Churro Donut. I know it’s not healthy to go for a second one but I don’t know if I can stop myself. DELICIOUS!!

I went in for breakfast sausage. Im real picky when it comes to sausage... Jimmy Deans dont do it for me.Upon thawing and cooking I will say it was also fresh and delicious tasting.Just enough fat to brown the meat, and seasoning is on point.Bought the 20.00 dollar frozen packs up front in cooler 100% happy with purchase I will be returning for more.Thanks

Del Monte did the food for my parents 50th wedding anniversary open house and everyone raved about how good it was. We had their pulled pork, dutch oven potatoes, oven baked chicken and the strawberry romaine salad. All was done very well and ready on time. Highly recommend.

Tony Giesbrecht and his staff at Del Monte Meats catered an amazing meal for my recent class reunion. The food was fresh, varied and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the brisket, green salad with mangoes and strawberries, and black berry cobbler ala mode. After having heard repeated excellent reviews previously, I can concur and highly recommend Del Monte Meats catering along with their outstanding service.

Plans for my daughters wedding rehearsal dinner fell through at the last minute. Del Monte came through in awesome fashion! They provided catering for 30 people with just a few hours notice. The food was delicious. We got the grilled chicken, beef brisket, and beef ribs, and a salad that included berries that was a hit. Best of all, it was delivered on time at the right place. Thank you, Del Monte, for saving the day and helping to make a special memory for my daughter, husband to be, and all of our families.

Its 2019 and theres no way to shop online here! Get tech savvy. Or are you afraid that you wont be able to keep up with customer demands? Dont you dare ask me to pay internet costs because you want to be so cheap. If that happens and I bring in sells above and beyond your imagination, Id want 70% of profits. Why? Because my brain and time is that good!

Was in today checking out their selection of fresh beef and bacon, and have to admit that I was quite underwhelmed. Im not sure if Ive just grown accustom to the large, fantastic butcher shops in the Salt Lake area, or if they get cleaned out before I was there at 5 (an hour before closing), but their fresh meat selection consisted of maybe 3 different cuts of beef and a few slices of bacon. I would love to review the quality of the meat, as what they had looked good, but they unfortunately didnt really have any beef worth buying for what I was after. Will have to check them out again in the future and see if it was a fluke, or a normal occurrence.

They have great deals.. The meats are very high quality this is the only place I buy meats now..the store has a nice country feel to it and they also carry a nice variety of spices and cheese.

Meat was awesome!! But 3 stars because service was awkward. We walked in and no one greeted us. Everyone seemed busy doing whatever they were doing. No one even looked out way or spoke to us. I understand that they may have been busy with the catering services but even the man at the register ignored us. We had to speak up in order to get help. Need to work on better on-site customer service!

Delicious food, professional service and beautiful presentation! My wife and I really wanted to host a picnic/bbq the day before our wedding and include all of our guests because we were having a destination wedding in Victor, ID. We are food lovers who were also looking for an affordable option to serve our guests at the picnic. Our venue coordinator recommended Del Monte Meats’ pig roast to fit what we were looking for and she was absolutely right! We ordered one pig for ~100 people, roasted root veggies and scalloped gruyere potatoes, and mixed berry cobbler with ice-cream. We had excellent communication with Del Monte Meats over email, they arrived promptly at the designated time, and set up efficiently with a beautiful presentation of the roasted pig! They stayed and served the meal at the buffet (which we were really not expecting). And once lunch and seconds were served, they promptly cleaned up lunch, set up & served dessert, again, we had no idea they would be serving. The meal was not only affordable but also a unique treat to serve a whole roasted pig. The servers were very professional, dressed in chef’s attire, and offered a service at no additional fee. Both my wife and I were very impressed and all of our guests were exceptionally delighted with the meal! I’d have had more of the mixed berry cobbler if there were any left for seconds!

The meat they have in stock and their catering is good, but I wont ever take wild game to them again. They didnt seem happy to take in the wild game and chucked my 4 nice game bags of quarters ready to hang in a pile in the corner. I processed the backstrap, neck, etc myself and it was some of the best deer Ive had, so its complete bs if they claim I brought them bad meat. No complaint the jerky, but nothing exciting. The salami was very inconsistent. Some was ok. Most was overdone and crumbled when I tried to cut it. One stick had an off flavor and the dog didnt even want it. And then the pepperoni... After two months of excuses and well call you when its ready I had tried enough of the salami to decide it wasnt worth the hassle to try to get the pepperoni (which I paid for btw).

I get my smoked dog bones here. They also have things like cottage fries and finger steaks that my family enjoys!

Let just say, I have been bringing my wild game to Del monte for a while. 3 years ago, they lost about 100 lbs of elk meat for 3 weeks. This time they lost about 40lbs of deer meat after a week. Finally 3 weeks later, I get my jerky back. It was just a little bag. They said I dropped off 10lbs. I said no...there was closer to 40 lbs. After them searching around for 15 minutes they find my meat in the freezer still in the garbage bag I had brought in. So they say they did a partial bag, I think not. I already know that they do not give the same meat back. I think that is ridiculous. So then they tell me to pay for this bag and then they will get the other bag going and it should be a week or so. After leaving the shop I notice that my bag is jerky and Ice...there is so much frost in the bag on the meat, that I would be surprised if there is not one piece with out freezer burn. I will never bring meat their again, I will start driving 4 hours to salmon Idaho where they will earn my business.
