Love getting my products here.The selection of even drugstore brands is gigantic with surprisingly decent prices. The Ulta Beauty collection is a a step up from the drugstore brands and just as good as the top of the line products. Plus they almost always have some kind of promotion running if you spend a certain amount you receive a free gift.

Took my daughter here yesterday (7/3/2021) to get her hair cut and colored. The color looks OK but the dye was and still in her hair on her scalp, neck, fingers, ears and forehead. My daughter was in tears because the hair stylist didnt do the cut we asked for and was shown the picture twice of what she wanted this is not what she wanted and the back of her hair was chopped up way shorter than what we asked I understand hair will grow back but when you go to a place with professional hair stylist ( professional not students ) and given pictures you had for reference I expect to have I looking like it I called the store and all the were going to offer was the same stylist the next day no why would we go to someone who messed it up in the first place very upset about the whole thing

I’ve been having Savannah do my brows for a while. She always does a great job. I had previously had someone wax off too much and with her help they’re grown back and shaped perfectly. The brow tint makes them even better! Her product knowledge is amazing. I hope she can do facials again soon!

The hair coloring I got here was highly disappointing. First off she didnt even do what I had asked for even after I showed her what I wanted. Second, there is blue in my hair which there is not suppose to be. Third, it has only been about two weeks and after three or four washes a substantial amount of color is coming out of my hair. I will not be coming back for sure after spending over $200 to not only not get what I wanted, but also how it is not lasting at all.

Workers are very judgmental and aren’t very welcoming 0/10 idaho falls ulta is WAY better compared to pocatello. Honestly won’t be coming here anymore unless i absolutely have to.

I came in for some skincare products that I cannot get anywhere else. I do not care to purchase online when I want a product asap. The manager tried telling me there was a mask mandate in the state of Idaho and that I need to wear a mask. There is no state mandate in Idaho, never has been. She harassed me and went back and forth with me in front of many people. Telling me I could not buy what I wanted. Meanwhile, there was a woman with an arm full of expensive products shopping with ease, no one harassed her about a mask. I was buying 2 little serums worth $15 so I guess I was an easy target, so she thought. I purchased my products. She then asked my medical condition which is a HIPPA violation. She said I couldnt buy my products but I did anyway. She wasted her time going back and forth with me just so I could still buy what I needed in the end. What is with these little workers thinking they are the police🙄🙄

I go to Savannah for my brow waxes at the Brow Bar. She does an excellent job, and always makes sure I leave happy. She also gives the best skincare advice!

Friendly and helpful staff. Didnt have what I needed in stock but offered to order for me and then gave me a coupon for free shipping when I told her I would just order it online. So nice!

KELLY, TIFFANY, & STORMIE ARE THE BEST!!! Yesterday I went into Ulta to pick up a couple of things & was so excited to use an old gift card I’d forgotten about. Long story short the pin on the back scratched off when I tried to scratch the sticky part so we couldn’t see the #’s to finish the transaction. I called customer service & had not the most helpful of reps, so after seeing the problem the manager just discounted my stuff for how much my gift card had been! I have NEVER been more appreciative in my life! I felt so bad holing everyone up in the checkout line & Kelly especially was so SO nice to me the whole time trying to help me figure it out! Thank you guys so much! Best customer service ever!

Savannah is amazing! Not only did she fix and even out an eyebrow that was longer than the other! (Oops!) But she also made them full and fluffy i recommend her services anyday!

Dont believe any clearance stickers you see. This is the 2nd time I have been to an ulta where a sticker for a product with matching name and variant is advertised as one price and when brought to the register ring up as a completely different price. Now I check to make sure there arent any sales dates or anything on the sticker, but they do not say anything of the type and when they are told that there is a sticker advertising this exact product and variant at a different price say well it cant be because it didnt ring up like that. Didnt check or anything. Terrible customer service and terrible organization. This wasnt a advertising price that can get mixed up with a third party but a sticker put under a product in their own store by most likely their own hand.

Found Everything I wanted/needed and then some!! My Beauty Expert was as helpful yesterday as she was the first time I went in!! And the Beauty Experts working were Masterfully And Beautifully Dressed for Halloween as I have ever seen anytime before!!

I have enjoyed the limited number of salon services I’ve had here. My issue is with the disorganization of the staff and how every time I come in to pick up an online order, it takes them forever to find it due to employees putting the wrong name on it. This has happened twice, the first time they were friendly and assured me it wouldn’t happen again. The second time it happened and I voiced the concern, the manager gave me attitude which was totally unnecessary as I was not being offensive in any way. Such a headache!

Jaydee (sorry if I misspelled the name) at the hair salon is amazing! I walked in to get a cut and she fit me in immediately. We had fun conversations and she educated me on my hair type and how to style it. I recommend going to Ulta Beauty for all of your beauty needs, from hair to facials it is an awesome place to go!

I really appreciate this companys efforts to maintain social distancing and encourage wearing masks, especially as the state reopens and other businesses have become seriously lax about safety. Also, this location always has what I need in stock and Ive found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

Sara is amazing she is prime example of how management should be. She helped me get signed up for a credit card a couple months back. They were running a promotion that if you spent $500 on the card in 90 days you got 500 welcome points. Ulta as corporate is a joke... I was on the phone for an hour with them. They made me so mad and made me feel dumb because I told them about this promotion and they wouldnt help me get it. For some reason the promotion wouldnt show up on my account even though I spent well over the $500. I went into the store and Sara and the two girls there with her were so sweet. They gave me $17.50 as promised and helped me find the perfect pallet. Ladies I cant thank you enough 😍😍😍. I was ready to burn the card and never shop at Ulta again. I am keeping my card and sticking with Ulta because of Sara and her girls, and their outstanding customer service. I hope some of their higher ups are able to see this. Thanks so much girls!!!!

I dont go in here frequently, but whenever I do the staff are always kind, non-judgemental and wonderful at helping you find what you need.

Ok so this store is full of really snotty women. a couple weeks ago I went in to the store and most of the snots were not helpful and very judgmental. You know the kind that look down their nose at you if you arent to familiar with make-up. its always like this but sadly they have the best selection of make-up......well I came in for foundation, the salon manager helped me, very patient with me and helped me get the perfect color, we chatted a bit and she asked about my hair care and what I liked and didnt like about my hair, I decided to get my hair colored by her that day. she was fantastic!!! She did exactly want I wanted. rescheduled with her for this week.... So disappointed to hear that she was terminated. The best stylist they had and she is gone now . this store has never had a decent salon they never have anyone there to do hair and they FINALLY get someone with some talent and they fire her after only 6 months because she cant repair the past 4 years of damage fast enough. pathetic. She warned me this might happen. Krystal where are you?????? My hair needs you!!

I have had mixed times at this make-up store. I went in once or twice and got great help from the women. They showed me some different types of make up, helped me to apply and try them out, and then of course, convinced me to purchase it. The ladies only really teach you about the expensive type of make up. They are good products, but cost a lot.Another time or two that I have gone in, the experience was not great. At those times, the women helping picked bad samples for myself and my mother-in-law. Also, the only advice they shared was silly. She told me where my face was oily... Uh, DUH! I know where my face is oily! Thanks for pointing it out.

Got my hair cut by the manager and walked out unhappy paying the most I ever have for a cut and a style worst cut ever! Save your time and money. Will never go back. The pic I took and what I walked out with are 2 completely different styles cut to short to fix was supposed to be shoulder length. Not to mention pushy about getting my hair colored or extensions. Not from there I wont! Scheduled me for next appointment without asking if I wanted it. Sorry but ill be a no show!

For the most part Ive had a good experience in this store. Its nice that they have more testers in the high end, & now more in the affordable branded products. My only grip is that sometimes your sent promotional offers/coupons for being a member, and the item is out of stock even past the expiration date. If you speak to the right person they might honor it. Also some times the sales promoted in the ads are not consistent with the store. I still have fun, and I keep in mind there is always something that becomes available at a good price.

Soooo here is my impression. I went in last night and the two gals were super helpful. Today I went in to exchange one of the two products I purchased, and then fully intended to purchase more items, however I was treated so poorly when I attempted to exchange the item (a foundation that did not work for my skin type) and then purchase a different brand, I was treated so poorly I will not return to this location. I am usually happy to spend a little more money on items for good service, but I REFUSE to spend more money for crummy service!

I shop here quite often. My only concern is the employees. They pick and choose who they want to help or answer questions for. Too often I am looking for help and no one is available but yet I turn and see others getting helped as soon as they walk in the door. Other than that I usually am fine on my own, usually know what I want/need.

I shop here very often and have spent a lot of money here. Way too much. I have always been very satisfied with their makeup and service and I LOVE their brow bar. However, I wen there to get a hair cut and it was a disaster. First the lady had me stand up the entire time for a 45 minute hair cut. That was not a relaxing experience. Them when she finished I pulled my hair forward and one side was over an inch longer. She tried to act like it was my doing like oh well if you wear your hair forward blah blah like pulling your hair in front of your shoulders was something only I do. So I asked her to fix it and she had no idea how to. After having to ask another lady what to do, 20 more minutes and 2 inches I had had enough. That is not a hair school and that is unacceptable. On top of it my hair is still crooked. They should give me some free extensions and a total refund. This is ridiculous. NEVER USE THIS HAIR SALON. You will leave unhappy and with an ugly haircut.

The makeup girls aren’t super pushy and are really helpful! Plus the carry almost all of NYX’s products 😍😍I love that they carry a good variety of products so any novice MUA can pop in and try an array of products 👌🏼Definitely the best place to find deals on Black Friday 🤑

I am choosing to write a review because the last few times I went to the Ulta in Pocatello I have had such a great experiences. The service was excellent and especially impressed with the brow bar service and Taryn in makeup. Taryn answered each one of my unique questions and I did not feel stupid once. I am so happy with each product she showed me and she was so helpful. I will continue going to this ulta because of the staff and my past experiences. Thank you for staffing this store with kind and non judgmental people.

My friend and I went in to check out the salon and makeup. Someone said hello when we walked in then NOTHING. We stood by the salon for almost 20 minutes without anyone saying a word to us. Finally a blonde woman in a stylist apron who I assume worked there walked quickly by us to the bathroom. When she came out she didnt even come near us just said hi girls. My friend and I are both hairstylists in the area and were genuinely interested in the salon but the atmosphere in Ulta is terrible. When people say they only cater to those who look rich its very true. We chose not to buy anything and when leaving another blonde in a white coat said goodbye. We informed her there was nobody in the salon so we were going to go elsewhere. She eyeballed us like we were not worth her time. Very dissapointing customer service and sad to say I will spend my hard earned money anywhere but there!!!

Great place for buying gifts for wife.

I had the worst experience at the Pocatello Ulta salon! I would never set another appointment here again. My appointment was with the salon manager ? I would think being a salon manager youd have to be qualified to do hair. I have short hair and simply needed my highlights redone and a trim. My appointment was at 10:30am and didnt get out of there until 4pm. I was so frustrated I thought I was going to explode and then to make matters worse it totaled $180. Why? It took way way too long and was mediocre at best. Not a happy customer and do not recommend it. Would never go there again. Very disappointed. 😠

I waited in line 8 min never acknowledge. With 3 girls doing something behind the cashier. I had to have my base makeup I had to wait but never again I will order it online. It was ridiculous and humiliating

Quick trip into the Pocatello store today to pick up Joico shampoo and conditioner. They had a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale going. I picked up the larger size from behind the sign, only to be told that size does not qualify. Talked to the Manager who offered only an apology for their marketing. Very misleading. Will re-evaluate returning to this store.

Lots of good products and friendly people that are not too pushy

Im usually able to find what I need and the store is well kept, but the employees are very unfriendly. Ive noticed this at several Ulta stores and on multiple visits. It makes me wonder what type of business model Ulta has as a company. The employees can be rude and seem very unhappy. I just try to avoid going to Ulta all together. I dont recommend visiting this store or any Ulta location.

I thought I had found a great stylist until I was blown off Marbeya and her overbooking. She tried calling to transfer, she claimed. Yes she called, left a message to confirm my appointment. I got a text message from Ulta shortly after to verify my appointment, so I did. Then I arrive at the salon and I get a text from Marbeyah, on her personal phone saying that she needs to reschedule because the girl that she is doing a dye job on wont be done for awhile and asked if I could come back.I scheduled that appointment at that time for a reason. A wedding and was traveling immediately after. I was blunt and said I couldnt work around their mess up. All I got back was an emoji. 👍So, that shows me how important my business is to her. Which also represents Ulta. Good image to have for the beauty industry and its consumers.-Brandy T

Super annoyed with my visit today. Went in looking to spend up to 100 bucks on new makeup but have no idea what Im looking for. I was given 2 types of makeup as a suggestion by a friend, both which Ulta did not have. Which was ok. I asked a blond worker wearing one of those white jackets for help. Figured she would know something. Asked if they carried these brands, she said no. I asked do you carry anything comparable or do you have suggestions? She literally said no, she wasnt sure what I was looking for. Then she stood silently until i walked away. I wanted to buy something comparable to the original product I was looking for. And left the store with nothing. She did not suggest one item for me or point me to anyone who could help. Very upset and will be going to Idaho Falls, Sephora, tomorrow to spend my money.

Ulta has a good selection of products, including lots of fairly expensive options. My wife never has a hard time finding what she needs here, and those few times she cant find what shes after, the staff is generally friendly and helpful in location things and making suggestions.

If you want help on anything dont expect help from anyone. The only people that get help are the people who look rich. Im usually treated semi decent at ulta but this time I went when I got off work and no one greeted me, no one asked if I wanted help. (Store was full of more employees than customers) I looked pretty ragged but I spend a sht load of money at ulta. Then at check out was lied to by an employee. I wont go into detail unless someone from corporate wants me to since theyre the only ones thatll initiate change. Ill look in store but buy online. These shady women dont deserve my money.

Judging this place solely on the friendliness of the staff, and the amount of glittery things that keep my magpie attention while my wife shops. Prices are a bit high, but there are tons of clearance/sale items to check out.

My sister and I went into this ulta location today to buy some make up and our experience was HORRIBLE! We both have babies and so we were using our strollers and we were followed the whole time we were in there. The employees wouldnt leave us alone and let us find the products we needed. When we first walked in there was this lady and as soon as she seen us she started talking to the employees and said watch the two girls with the strollers really close. They treated us like we had stolen something which we DID NOT! My sister only buys her makeup from ulta and she spends a whole bunch of money every year there. The employees made us feel so uncomfortable we just got our things and got out of there. When we were up at the counter paying my sister confronted the cashier and asked why we were being treated this way and her response was well last week someone came in with a stroller and stole a bunch of stuff. So basically she was saying that they thought we were going to do the same! This was ridiculous! We will be calling corporate and letting them know about this. And we will NOT be going back to this store! If you dont want people coming in with strollers then get some carts so people dont have to use strollers. And we will let our friends and family know not to go here either!

They had none of the 7 products I needed

Ive gone here twice. Both times the staff was not very helpful or friendly. I purchased an item that came with a free $14 gift. They ran out of the gift and they did nothing to substitute or make up for the gift. They said they needed to take the sign now, but since they hadnt taken it down before I made the purchase, I feel like they should have done something- but they didnt.

A bit more pricey than I typically like, but quality styling items and cosmetics that Im not allergic to!
