We have never been disappointed with this incredible ice cream spot. Fun to bring friends and family along for a cone and some good company. The service is wonderful and we always leave with full tummies while thinking about which flavors we might choose the next time in. Remember to bring cash because they don’t do debit or credit cards. Filthy and poorly maintained. Tacky, dated wall mural and handwritten rude notes toward customers all over the place (I counted at least 4-5). No public restroom, no card reader, don’t touch the menu board... these are somewhat understandable, however most establishments don’t feel the need to post it all over the walls. Also, would it kill them to get with the times and get a cert reader? Ice cream menu is mediocre as well.

One of my favorite ice cream shops in Pocatello! Ive been here a decent amount of times. They have a great variety of flavors to choose from, and one dollar per scoop is an amazing deal. The staff is also super friendly. There are many places to sit, my favorite being the side patio since its quiet, and it is a great place to sit with friends or family.

This place has delicious ice cream at an amazing price. Weve gone twice now and each time went back for a second serving. My daughter loves the play dough flavored ice cream. I have yet to be disappointed with any flavors Ive picked. Its a hidden gem of Pocatello, great customer service, and overall wonderful energy. The side patio made for a peaceful, happy experience as well. Well definitely continue being regulars.

Cheap and great ice cream

This is a cute little shop with a nice variety of interesting ice cream flavors. And its very affordable! Its just a fun place, in general. The staff were nice, too.Edit: After continuing to go here for quite some time, I have an even higher opinion of this place. They have the best Peach Sorbet! Ive spend whole days thinking about how tasty it is. Ever since I moved back to the U.S. From Germany, Ive missed the Italian ice cream I ate all the time in Europe. This peach sorbet is on par with European ice cream. Its the best ice cream Ive had in the United States. Also, I once went to buy a half gallon of it and thought I was a dollar short (they only take cash), and the girl working there offered to just make up the dollar difference with her tip money. It was the kindest thing!They also have a cute outdoor seating area with a fountain and plants in the summer. I LOVE this place!

Local owned and great place to stop for kids. However... 3 stars because they only take cash which is a major impediment to business. You are 100% losing sales. On many occasions my daughter will ask to go here specifically and because we dont have cash on hand we go someplace where cards are accepted. Many people dont carry cash nowadays. Bite the bullet. Accept cards. Your sales will increase.

My son and I go everytime I see him and hes always excited to go get ice cream. The owner ( I think hes the owner ) let us in early because it was hot and helped us before he opened. Love the ice cream and everything about this place.

This is our favorite ice cream place to get a delicious treat. We go year round as a family especially on special occasions. Today our son graduated preschool so we went to ice cream afterwards to celebrate. The workers are always so friendly and the ice cream is delicious. Great prices too! Definitely cant beat it.

My siblings, cousins, & I would ride our bikes over there quite a bit during the summer, growing up. Now I enjoy taking my little brother over when I babysit. Its cheap, affordable ice cream that the whole family can enjoy! Highly recommended for anyone who loves ice cream!

I always knew it as Farrs, but its the same good ice cream. Not a bad variety of flavors, and theres a nice table around back that you can sometimes sit at. As long as I remember, its been a dollar per scoop, usually an additional dollar for a waffle cone. Ice cream is kept just a little too cold, but again, nice local place and excellent for the price.

Stopped in to Jungle Retreat to take some ice cream home. The gals there were friendly and knowledgeable regarding the ice cream. I had wanted lemon custard flavor and was I formed the did not have that flavor but they had lemon meringue flavor. I bought some lemon meringue flavor. My experience there was great. I will definitely visit again soon.

These guys have been selling Ice cream in the community for several years and they are always on point! Sometimes they get busy, but the rush usually doesnt last very long. Most of the time you can get in and out pretty quickly! Stop on by, one of the best kept secrets that isnt a secret in Pocatello!

I worked here a couple of years ago and loved coming to this place before that. Cash only keeps the prices low, and the ice cream is really good. (Ive tried all 50+ flavors.) If someone says the ice cream is just okay, they havent tried the White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle or Salted Carmel. There is a beautiful patio out back with a waterfall and flowers that the owner opens up during the summer, and at night its lit up, making it a pretty romantic place for a date. There are pretty strict cleaning practices which keeps the place safe for your family. The owner is the best boss Ive ever had (and Ive had some really great ones), which is why the staff are so friendly. We would rotate most of the flavors, so youll find new things to try each time you go. Its definitely worth visiting.

They dont accept cards, cash and check only. Other than that the icecream is fantastic and is priced reasonably. Im a big fan of cookie dough and unlike a lot of other places, they actually used cookie dough instead of syrup flavored like sonic. Strongly recommend.

Even though there is no actual parking lot you can park on the street. Sometimes its hard to find a spot to park because theyre usually fairly busy. They have an excellent selection of ice cream flavors with the option of having it in a cup, waffle cone or regular cone. Its a small ice cream shop which I believe makes it even more popular due to it being a community favorite hangout

I was surprised by the flavor choices. We will definitely be back. It was clean and orderly and the girl at the counter was very pleasant. Simple selection process and they dont take cards but tax is included! Ran into some old friends that happen to walk in right after us.

I LOVE this place!!! You simply cant buy quality ice cream this inexpensive anywhere (excluding just buying a tub on sale at the grocery store.) Also, pralines and cream can be so hit or miss with different brands. Farrs like they serve here is probably the best pralines and cream Ive had! They do only accept cash, so come prepared! I literally carry change in my car for the sole purpose of buying ice cream here if the opportunity arises!

This is a great hole in the wall ice cream place. A single scoop ice cream cone for $1 was a pretty decent size. They also sell dole whip which is pretty good. I will definitely come back here again.

So many flavors and helpful waiters. This is one of the best places to get ice cream. There is also a rental party room, that really has a jungle feel, and that really adds to the experience. I would request that you go here anytime it is ice cream time.

Ever since I was around 3 or 5 I have been coming here. We would come here almost every weekend with my aunt and we would get ice cream. Ive never been disappointed with this place and their selection of ice cream just gets better and better especially with the addition of Dole whip. They dont have a bathroom tho, and they dont accept cards so that kinda sucks, but this is definitely the best place to go for ice cream period.

Great deal at $1.00 a scoop. Lots of delicious flavors! Friendly staff. I give 3 stars for store appearance. There was quite a bit of dust on hanging parrots, door, window ledges, and hanging from ceiling in dine-in area. The white brick walls need cleaned and repainted. A little tidying up does wonders for appearance.

It is a fun little place to take your kids. My boys love it and request to go often. The ice cream is good, but I wish that they let you get samples. And they only let you pay with cash, which I dont love.

Fun place for a cheap, quick, and delicious treat. Its cash only so be prepared. Also, its local so support them! They have a big variety of flavors for a dollar a scoop. My kiddo got playdough (because hes three and it looks like tie dye) and I got chocolate peanut butter. We both loved our flavors. If you are bringing a big party, you will probably have to eat outside.... The dining room only fits 10-15ish.... Cute graphics inside and fun pictures of the community on the walls. Super tasty and fun!
