1st I called a lady quoted me $90 for a front rim and tires swap which was fine. 2nd time I called I mustve got Charlie who ballooned the quote to $375. I brought my bike before in before for a tire swap. I wrote down my miles and these fools took it for a 10mile joy ride and lost my harley valve caps.
If you like throwing your money away, then this is the place. I was given one price and by the time it was done it cost me double. And the bike was not running any better than when I gave it to them to fix. They do not know how to work on older bikes. It took me a quarter of a year to get my bike back. I tried to give them the benefit of assuming they knew what they were doing, But all I ever got were excuses on why my bike is the way it is. I took my bike to a mechanic that works out of his garage and he found the problem in 1 hr. He changed the vac hoses, now she runs like new. $100 dollars is a heck of a lot cheaper than - Parts 411. Save your sanity. DONT RISK IT !!!!!!!!
I would rather have my motorcycle worked on here over any dealership. Even something as simple as tire changes are quick and done right. Charlie knows how to retain the good customers.
This robber is not to be trusted their lies are not to get your bike in the shop after the fee increased. I had the police come because he had a gun ...
Never have any parts that your looking for and when you try to order them they are cheaper on amazon.. also called for some jets.. they have to order them? How can you be a motorcycle parts store and not carry something as simple as jets? Lame. If you want a Chinese battery or some oil maybe give them a call. Not worth the hassle.
On the front they seem friendly and willing to work with you but as soon as you go back with your bike (because it wasnt fixed), Charlie starts to put the blame on the rider. He quoted me for a carb clean on a honda rebel either from 150-250, and charged me 250, which i was fine with because i thought my bike would be ready to go, but wasnt. So i take it back and he changes the spark plugs and say they were flooded, and that that was the reason for it not running. He said I shouldve been happy i wasnt charged for labor on the spark plugs. If you dont know anything about bikes, let me tell you that changing spark plugs on a honda rebel is too easy and requires little effort. Overall, they fooled with their nice words.
Great place for your motorcycle, dirt bike products; & more.
Carlos totally answered my question about the 87 yamaha virago i have. They mounted my tires on my loose wheels no problems. Same day service awesomeness! Berts can suck it with the drop em off and ill call you tomorrow thanks parts411...you made my day!
The owner is personally involved with all business...even gave a tour of the shop...great people working there
Took my bike in resorts were good and I hade my bike ready and no time
If you want to get ripped off and throw away your money then 411 is the place to go, nothing but retards working there that dont know what their doing! i told them a LIST of things that i needed fixed, my bike was at the shop for 3 weeks and they DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to it except fix ONE of my lights! not even both! i cant even give this place 1 star, ill give it a sack of crap
Stay away! stay far far far away!! pep boys could do a better job!!!first, they stripped the retaining pin in my front brake caliper and said it was like that. I had changed the brakes last, it was not stripped. LIES!second, they gave me a bogus estimate. even up to the point when I dropped the bike off. I repeated the original quote to Charlie (the owner) and he nodded indicating he acknowledged the quote. I guess that was before they screwed up my brakes, then charged me not only for the part, but for the time/travel to get it.here comes the fun part. when I went to pick up my bike and was told the cost, I balked. when they gave me a breakdown, the cost had doubled to mount new rubber, not to mention what they were charging me for screwing up my brakes! the desk guy had some woman come out to speak to me. she was rude, unknowledgeable and unwilling to listen. the spineless owner, Charlie, was in the back. I could hear her talking to him each time she told me to hold on and went to a back room. really? when I told her I would be disputing the charges to my discover card, her response was sorry, we only take cash, which they clearly dont, as the credit cards they accept is clearly displayed. I quickly left the office and went outside behind their gates as to not get locked out and called 911 as she really thought I was going to leave there without my bike.in summary, the owner Charlie is a liar and a cheat. his mechanics are inexperienced novices who shouldnt even work on THEIR OWN bikes. he is also not much of a man, as he had to send his girlfriend/wife out to do his dealings with an unhappy customer. youre better off going to berts (I cant believe I just typed that). at least they have a level of professionalism.pay attention to the other reviews you see about this place. take heed! theyre true. do it yourself or go elsewhere!!!a note to Charlie; dont bother responding or submitting a rebuttal, youve already proven yourself to be a lying unprofessional business owner. there must be an awful lot of idiots out there to be in business as long as you have.
RIDERS STAY AWAYI gave this place a chance and I was wrong to do so. Dont come here if want to do business with people who have some sense of morals. Because I didnt see any of that from Charlie
Charlie had quoted me 80$ to finish up my fork seals (15 minute job with compressor tool) from which I had already removed the forks off my motorcycle. He calls me the next day trying to change the price up to $150 because he had to take them apart.(We went over the process) He didn’t you tell me this when they were right in front of him!Shady business practices trying to rip people off for extra money.STAY AWAY!
Very knowledgeable mechanics and staff
After going to Berts and getting a over priced estimate I remembered a buddy telling me about Parts411. I am sure glad I did, to get my KTMs carb cleaned, valves adjusted, and change the oil and filter it was $300 dollars cheaper than Berts. But more than the cost savings was the level of service I received, first the owner took me for a tour of his shop and introduced me to his mechanics as they talked me through everything I was going to have done to my bike. Then they called me with updates on how it was going and the issues they had found and repaired. My bike was done a day earlier than they estimated and the price didnt go up even though they fixed a few extras for me. My bike runs better now than it ever has and idles perfectly. If you are looking for a place that will perform top notch work for a fair price this is it. I cant wait to bring my Harley here to see if they can get my old Shovel Head to idle too!!! I will keep you guys posted on my results.
Got the best service and price on my tires and gear!
Nice little shop. Open weekends!
