I use too come here quite often. I love reading. & I usually have approximately a lot of books because of this store since it’s prices are great! Love coming here whenever I have the extra money to buy a book or a few. It’s a great place.

I called ahead to be sure they were open. Lady said Id like to see the books. So I drove on over. the neon sign above the door Open. Yet the door was locked! Lights were on but nobody inside. I tried calling again and it went to full mailbox. I waited around outside to no avail. I finally gave up.

I never expected going to see Neil Young last year and finding such a excellent little book shop. They had a ton of fantasy novels. I kinda kick myself but they had a D and D style game box featuring and based on Tolkien works. Really is a collectors paradise and the people that run it were very kind to me and my lady. I wish they would move closer to where I lived I would just hang out there all day.

Sweet, friendly owner. One-of-a-kind used bookstore with plenty of treasures to be had. Also a lot to do in the area with bars, vintage shops, theatres, and local restaurants.

Great little used book store! They have a student discount and if the prices are left on the books you buy there you can return them later for a trade.

I always feel welcome and at home. Lots of books to discover. I found a series of books I read as a child and was thrilled to re-read them.

Small but great collection and good prices. The lady upfront is very nice she even remembered my boyfriend from his previous visit.

Great owners. Great fantasy/sci-fi selection as well as much more. priced very reasonable. a gem for sure. ran into it when I came into town from West LA on my way to a concert. I was just killing time and ended up in Magic Door. I just wish it was closer to me and not an hour drive away.

I dont like giving anyone a low review but Ill be honest the lady working was not very attentive to customer care.She mention that the prices for each used book were written on the first page of the item and their was a 30% discount based on the actual written price which was on the first page.Well, with that being said, I decided to buy a few used books, as she looked at the prices she shook her head and said to me, these prices are not accurate she gave the books a higher prices and well so much for my 30 percent discount.I questioned her actions and her reply was very serious : A simple mistake she said, but I just corrected the problem.I didnt buy the book but I was polite and thanked her for her time.

They have a mixture of selections for a good price. I only wish they had more current medical/nursing books for students.

The Magic door is a wonderful store. The propriteress is a lovely women who keep a donation jar for donations to purchase toys for the stpre cat

One of the best used book stores in the area. Great mix of genres, and one of the few places that old hardcovers can be found for a reasonable price.

Have a lots of collectibles ( hard to find) books, they also have a jar to collect money to help cats.

Wonderful variety and very interesting books. The little cat that wanders around makes the book shopping even better!

I remember coming here to buy anime books. Its quite an Interesting book store.
