I came to Pompano for vacation all the way from NC and was having some trouble with my rental car. This vacation taught me just how valuable car knowledge is and that I need to have more of it. I cant recall his name but on Sunday May 2, an extremely kind young man with locks and glasses went above and beyond for me. He not only checked my oil but taught me how to do it myself for the future. My back right tire had slowly been leaking air. He got down on the ground to check to see if I had a nail or hole in my tire. He had me sit in the car and back up slowly continuously so he could search the entire tire and he told me what was wrong with. He went above and beyond for this naive and ignorant woman and her teenage sister and Im really grateful for that and for him. He deserves a raise!

Been purchasing at this store for the past 6 years. Customer service definitely hit or miss. Take it for what it is.This is not the first or second time that three or more employees were behind the counter.I needed to make one simple purchase of a relay (already in my hand) and apparently one employee was off the clock (like in times before) but yet behind the counter assisting another customer or friend. After trying to be patient and getting no acknowledgment or recognition I decided to leave once I started feeling like I was being ignored. As I said this has happened several times I do feel slightly discriminated due to the way everything played out. Just saying my experience.

An improvement should be made when buying an item that would receive a return payment on a core of any kind. It needs to be explained to the customer that when returning the core mostly pieces being returned need to have the box in which the new piece or restored piece was purchased.

First a HUGEEEE THANKYOU TOO Antonio he is a young guy that take heart in his work and I have no clue how to change my battery and I had a little more of a difficult battery to change but Antonio was amazing and was able to it without any problems also went to pep boys and they wanted to charge me 135 for labor and 200 for the battery Antonio keep up the good work and I’ll make sure to come back and see you!

IMPROVED EXPERIENCEI have been coming to to this location for over 3 yrs due to convenient distance from home.However, not until approximately 8 month ago did I enjoy shopping here.Eventhough you would place an on-line order and pick up hours after it was ready, you would always have long waiting times ar counter. The primary reason was the employees & managements total lack of care for the customer that had just walked into their store and help provide them with a job.Apparently, the store is under new management and some new employees. Although some of the old apples remain, perhaps the managers leadership will forge new attitudes.

I have asthma. I can barely breathe as it is. Despite the county order including an exemption for people that have difficulty breathing, the store employee demanded that I wear a mask. So I put a mask on, by the time I was ready to leave the store I was about to pass out.Every other business and store I walk into doesnt hassle me. This Advance thinks theyre above the law.

Went to this one in Pompano Beach while I was visiting my sister and i needed a air filter than asked the lady if there is someone to put it in for me and she was nasty and said no ! Im disabled but one of the guys that work there was listening and said Ill do it for her .nice guy i tipped him what i had in cash $5.00

This store is great however I was a little in shock when I had to pay $150 for a front light replacement on my car

I just called there and they put me on hold forc5 minutes, then they hung up on me. What a horrible customer service store this is. If you dont have enough help to answer the phone then I suggest you put an ad in the paper to get some more help

In the end it all worked out but what it took to get there was absurd. I had bought a battery 2 years ago from a different store. I did not have my receipt at the time but the battery in my car was dated from May of 2015. It was a gold brand which comes of the 3-year warranty. The sales guy kept telling me no no no it only comes with a one-year. Since I have no option at the moment I had them put it in and I paid full price. I stopped at another store who guaranteed me that they have always had a 36 month warranty on the gold brand. I called the store and got my sales guy who insisted I was wrong and put his manager on who then clarified and let me know I was correct but without my receipt they couldnt be sure that I was the original purchaser. so I went home and found the receipt went back into the store and the same sales guy was still trying to convince me that I was wrong even though my receipt clearly said 36 months warranty. Eventually the store manager on duty stepped in and took care of everything and I walked out with my battery replaced but it should not have been that complicated.

Disaster over more problems. Brought a battery to be replaced, got a wring battery and when i had to come back to exchange it for the correct one (within an hour), they didnt want to do it. Finally, they had to confess they didnt have it, they had to exchange it for the lowest one they had, without given me a refund (it cost less) or a discount for their mistake.I will never buy anything else at that store

Awful customer service! Came in to purchase one item on 2/07/2017 after 8pm, no one greeted me, no one asked if i needed help. Thankfully, Ive been there before and I knew where to look and what I was looking for. The two men who were in the store were on their cell phones the whole entire time I was in there even while the man checked me out he was on the phone the WHOLE time...didnt say a word to me. But im not rude, so I said thank you when my transaction was done. B they acted very rude and unprofessional. Ive been there before and have been pleased, I dunno what was up with these two guys!

The Biggest problem i have with Advanced Auto Parts is They Have NO Seats For Handicapped People To Sit While Waiting to be Waited On ! I Believe This is a big problem.

Order online and pickup in the store. Fours stars because I still had to wait 10 minutes and I also had to wait for them to find a pen to have me sign my receipt.
