Really disappointed with my experience at Scooter Ave. At first we thought we were in for an easy purchase but soon came drama. Not only were we overcharged for the bike but what we paid extra for, the paperwork, owner’s manual, title, we never received. We ran the numbers by our lawyer and he too see the fraudulent charges. On top of that the bike never properly charged, the charger broke and we had no way of calling the manufacturer to describe the problem. The employees also stopped returning our calls and getting us the materials we needed because they were simply fed up working with us. Again we have had a lawyer look over all of the findings and until we get the materials we paid for and have a running and working bike this will not be over. Really think twice before buying here, was not the experience we expected, the owner was not a friendly or professional person.They also just followed up with a lie. We did not try to return the bike nor charger but wanted more information on the bike and charger, as well as information on where to get a new one, and got none of it. DO NOT try to say that we wanted to return the bike, we never wanted to return the bike, we wanted the paperwork promised, but never received, and more information on the charger that broke the first time we used it. I wish I could take away my 1 star but this wont post without it.

Saved my behind! I torqued my variator nut on way to tight and then rounded it off trying to loosen it. The owner was very kind and the mechanic did a great job removing the nut changing my belt and installing new roller weights for a fair price. I have dealt with Marcio and Scooter Avenue for 4 1/2 years and 2 scoots. I have always been treated fairly there, and any repairs were done quickly, thoroughly, and correctly, at a reasonable price. I would like to get itemized invoices for work done, but I have never felt overcharged or taken advantage of. He and his mechanics have always fixed the problem, and stood behind their work. In fact, they have made extra repairs and adjustments - at no charge - in order to ensure the scoot was fixed properly. They are a quality shop, at quality prices. I plan to continue to be a loyal customer of Scooter Avenue in the future. Remember... respect brings respect.

His young counter person told me after owner left that they have warehouse on Dixie that they would do for 50.00 labor. I got new cylinder head on EBay for 25.00 This guy was on 7 news before. For cheating people. No wonder he can drive 60,000 new pick up and his trophy wife drives new Land Rover

My husband bought a scooter there and within a week after paying $1500 it wouldn’t start and they refused to fix it and just said we didn’t know how to use it. To this day it still doesn’t start. I recommend no one buys there!

Scooters are disgusting, never buy a Chinese scooter or any other product, in a few months my scooter broke 6 times, you spend more on crane and repair than on the scooter itself, if you want to keep your money, never buy it, everything is a disgust.

He gets bad reviews all the time and he has friends write A good review to offset all the negative comments he gets .he sold me a lemon and now wants to charge me for all kind of repairs. All i can say is buyer beware.Also I am adding to my review, because I dont trust the guy I took my scooter to another shop and was informed that the scooter i bought from him was in an accident and had A bent frame.I hope my review helps someone who wants to buy anything from this guy in their decision making. He is bad for business and not a man of his word.

The price to change a tire is $35 to$55 in this shop the price is $80 without balance, other shops include this in the price, the attending person said they no have balance machine, me opinion dont go to this place is no professional.

Took my scooter in for first service, was fast and easy. Marcio is a real nice guy. My battery wasnt staying charged, he tighten down the terminals to see if it was the cause. Con artist that does not stand behind his product! The owner sold me this ATV for $550 on 1/5/18 for my sons birthday gift. He convinced me that by purchasing the ATV from him I was assured the ATV was put together properly and that if there were any issues his shop would be able to resolve them. After owning the ATV for only a month, and my son only riding three times within that month, the ATV stopped working properly. I took it back to Scooter Ave and had to leave it there for a couple of weeks for them to fix it. Once they fixed it I took it back home and my son rode it maybe three more times before it stopped working again. I am very busy with work so I was not able to make another trip down to Scooter Ave until July. At that time the owner claimed my 6 month warranty was up but that he would see what he could do for me. I left the ATV there for months hoping he would make good on his product and fix it. When I realized he was never going to call me to tell me it was fixed I called him to let him know I would be there to pick it up the following week (December 2018). When I arrived to pick it up the ATV it was still in pieces as seen in the picture. I asked the owner with all the time he had to work on it why would it still be in pieces when I picked it up, especially since I called him in advance and let him know I was coming. He told me if I wanted to wait around for an hour his mechanic would be back and would put it back together for me. I also asked him if he could fix the rear left tire that was on backwards (you can tell by air stem). He got an attitude with me and told me the ATVs were not assembled at his shop, contrary to what he told me when I purchased it. He also claimed he should have charged me storage for him keeping the ATV so long. I ended up leaving with the ATV still in pieces because I did not want to get into an argument with the guy. Needless to say my son is heartbroken that his birthday gift from last year never really worked well for him and I am devastated that I spent $550 of my hard earned money on something that doesnt work. The owner is a con artist and does not care about his customers nor stand behind the products he sells.The owner does nothing but lie in his response to my review. Very disappointing that I cant directly respond to his response to point out the lies. Long story short, do not trust this guy. His products are garbage and can be purchased for cheaper prices online through retailers such as ebay and Amazon.

They were complete jerks. They didnt even let me ride with them when they picked my scooter up. I had to take a 2 hour bus ride, they charged me 150$ for a new ignition which is absurd! Then when I went to pick it up they had to used a screw driver to start it! Told me I gave them the scooter with a broken ignition switch which I didntThen charged me 40$ to fix it which only took them 20 seconds so I know it was a scam. Please do not go here. They probably hired people to write all these good reviews.

I at first gave this place 5 stars mostly because I was so sick of Boca Scooters ripping me of, and I finally found a new place to work on my scooter, long story faster, they just screwed me over slow and steady! To the point I ended up spending on my scooter for repairs, in less than 6 months, the amount I could of bought a new 150cc scooter for! Plus I ended up with no scooter in the end!Usually they call me for approval with a price and a diagnosis because they did any labor! Actually that’s what is required “By Law”, but the last time they didn’t and they just fixed it and wanted to charge me $400! More than the scooter was even worth! And to top it off, it Wouldn’t even Run!!!!! I’d have to pay an additional $300. Or pay $50 to tow it home!!! I said to them “I refuse to pay for a Scooter that Was running when I dropped it off and now it’s not and I owe you!! Just keep it and we will call it even!” Funny thing is, right before I got there to “pick it up” I saw on Offer Up an identical one to my hand painted Tao Tao, for sale for $400 that Ran from There shop!!!Plus they say no credit no problem everyone gets approved for financing, well I tried before when I realized my scooter was a money pit, and I tried with my SS and my Husbands separately, and either one of us were approved! Plus it’s a online credit deal where they make it seem like it’s “there credit from the store!” So I had to go outside on my phone for over a hour just filling it out to apply while they hesitantly waited impatiently inside!Ridiculous and awful customer service. Very shady business.Btw I’m really handy, you have to be when you own a scooter, and I always did my own oil changes regularly, I got 3 new carburetors in one year as well as 3 new fuel pumps and filters, and all new hoses were replaced twice! It seemed every time I went there two weeks later I had an even bigger problem with my scooter!

Do not be hypocritical, if you really wanted the best for me, youd have repaired my bike when I left with you, I paid for the service not performed, and you know who I am so well.

I have a Piaggio 350cc scooter and I bring it to Marcio at scooter Ave located on sample rd and Dixie, for oil change, but recently I had an accident where my scooter was damage and when I brought it to my dealer, they were charging me 2,000 dollars plus whatever they charge for labor work, they told me that I needed original parts, but when I caller scooter Ave,Marcio, the owner was kind enough to not only get (used parts in the Internet)himself for a very good price, but installed them for a better price, in total I saved more than 1,000 dollars just in parts. Scooter Ave is the place to get your work done, very satisfied,by the way, now I will only bring it to Scooter Ave,no more to the dealer.

Really bad customer service. I live out of town, by about 35 miles and called to ask some questions about the deals that are posted on the website. I inquired about a 150cc scooter and was spoken to by someone in sales as if I was someone with no brain. The website price lists the units start at $799. Which is wrong, they start at $1200. I inquired about financing and if there was a different cost vs. paying cash. He, again sarcastically told me that of course there is the cost of financing involved, you have to pay interest. I called to speak to someone in the sales department to to get a better understanding of the product and unfortunately, the salesperson was condescending and I disconnected the call and just bought a 150cc scooter from someone near me in Miami Beach.

Rushed out by some young punk. I had the part i needed replaced in my hand and he rufused to look at it and then sold me the wrong part. When i called in they told me over the phone that the price would be $20. When i got there the kid charged me $30. And he also didnt register tge sale or give me a recipt. I will be back just to refund my part and then never again after that!!!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! The owner Marc/Marico will try to rip you off. Long story short. I went in and wanted to purchase a scooter for 1600$. When it came to finance the scooter this dude marc marked the price up another 400$ which changed the actual sale price of 1600$ to 2076$. Then try to tell me that it included tax and tags with my down payment off 278$. Mind you my loan was only approved for 1675$. That didnt stop this guy from trying to pull a fast one on me. Hes very unprofessional and doesnt have any customer service skills. Hell he doesnt have the customers interest at heart. This store is a total rip off. Needless to say I cancelled my contact the next day and went to another location. There I was able to purchase a different scooter using the same loan company that approved me at Scooter Ave. I repeat do not patronize this store because you will get ripped off.

They always change price for same service. they never give you the receive or warranty for service and / or parts. they charged me to new carburetor and new back brakes, I have no new brakes, and the scooter is complete full accelerate .... i called to ask to fix the service that i paid for and Marcios son said if i dont have the receive (invoice) not what they can do, even if they know they charged for something that they didnt.

Bought a 50cc brand new scooter from here two weeks ago and has 6 month engine and transmission warranty. Came with a paper that says I need to get a tune up at 1000 miles. The odometer reads 850 kilometers (which is about 530 miles) and is already in need of a tune-up due to losing about half the power it had and going from 40 miles an hour to barely getting 25 and refuses to do anything for me unless I pay him even though the mileage is only half of what the paper says. He tried telling me that it was close to a thousand which I dont know what school he went to but 530 is nowhere near close to 1000 and it is actually about half...i mean come on now really?? only terrible companies wont back their products. These guys are a rip-off and the other reviews that are good ones are most likely written by their own family members Im assuming. As I walked in he was rudely telling a customer over the phone that is scooter wasnt working because he didnt know what he was doing.. dont buy anything from these guys.

Everytime I ask a question, the answer was always no problem. Can you do this? No problem! Will you do this? No problem! This place treats you like family. Dealt with this guy a long time ago. seems to be making his customers happy now. Not thr case when i went there. Real.business is named scooter shop. Hes on the local.news google it. Thief, beware. I took in my bike because the variator weights were jumbled and i didnt have the tools to fix it, he said it nust needed a tune up and the belt was on backwards (not a thing that can happen) and said it needed a tune up. Cost 250$ got home, same spark plug same fuel filter even same dirty oil same brake fluid valves werent adjusted. Carb wasnt clean. Same gear oil, same belt, only difference was only 59% if the screws were left. My neighbor and i spent an hour trying to figure out just what the hell he did. This was just one of my experiences with him. Sold me a used triple tree the didnt lock. I lived 2 blocks from his shop so i had no choice when my bike broke down but to take it there. Thank god. He does business under scooter ave to hide the things hes done while his business was called Bike and scooter supershop. Scooter Ave doesnt come up under BBB but guess what does. Yep you guessed it. Google news 10 bike and scooter super sbop. I cant count the times hes cussed me.out or just been 100% innnappropriate. In his defense however he is licensed and other shops in the area arent. So you do get a paper tag. For thay ill give you another star. But he forces to you to let him register it which he charges 80-100$ more than doing it yourself. For that you lose that extra star. Through him i paid 250 for registration on my latest i paid 160 doing it myself. Oh and still havent received the title on that bike because he sent it to the wrong address.
