Luis and his mother Magda are some of the nicest, most genuine people you will meet. The coffee they grow is from the highest peaks on the island and the flavors that the beans produce are second to none. Do yourself a favor, call ahead and stop by for a visit.

It pains me to give a low rating to a Puerto Rican coffee business but, the owner/attendant was not there and the business next door told us that he is almost never there, even though we went there during posted business hours. We hoped to see the place, it looks pretty cool from the outside and we wanted to buy some local grown coffee beans. It is just unfortunate when the owners do not value customer interaction. Two stars because the place looked interesting/cool from the outside and it has potential for being a good small trip.

Very informative about coffee production. Tiny place. Dont expect a tour. Great coffee though. This place is confused with the restaurant right next to it. The restaurant do serve this amazing coffee but is closed for renovations.

Both green and roasted beans from their own plantation. You can taste their coffee next door at Cafe Cafe.Dont miss either when in Ponce.

Neat little place, the lady at the place was amazing, she talks about her product with such pride and love that it just makes you want to buy more... un lugar excelente y el servicio excepcional.

I want to comment to all customers know that Torrefacción Café Mayor has nothing to do with the Café Café Cocina Criolla are two independent business in one place. In addition Torrefacción Café Mayor it is a family business they offer the best coffee bean in family farm in Jayuya Puerto Rico they selling coffee beans and ground locally here.

Now called Cafe Cafe, open for breakfast and lunch M-F. Native Puerto Rican dishes, and an interesting coffee roasting shop in back
