What a great find! Outstanding coffee! We were driving through Poncé, and this showed up on google maps. We pulled in and couldn’t have been more pleased. The coffee and service was outstanding. The food was great. Waffles, eggs, bacon, yum!

Love it !!! One of the best scrambled eggs Ive ever eaten, even though it sounds weird. They have to prove it. Perfect balance of flavors for your palate. Exquisite waffles with nutella, strawberries and bananas. Ahhhh and the rich coffee, to which you can add flavors like red velvet.

Quality and service

On the weekend in the South area we wanted to visit different food places to get to know, support the local gastronomy and obviously eat delicious, as we only eat on our Island. However, not everything was as we wanted. On Saturday the 3rd in the morning we decided to go to this place for breakfast. Knowing that due to the restrictions due to the Pandemic, there are many places that work by reservation, I called and they told me that they did not take reservations by phone, but that I had to come to the premises and sign up. It seemed weird to me, but we saw it as a strategy to get us to the place. So we did, because we were very much interested in their menu and their posts on Facebook.We arrived in a horrible downpour. My husband dropped me off at the gate and went to park. In the parking lot there were no restaurant personnel, signs or information that warned us what we would experience when trying to enter. While at the entrance, we signed up and while they called us, we were waiting at the place because the rain was heavy. Suddenly, several employees approached us and told us that we could not be there, that we should wait in the car. Sure, we understand that by protocol there are rules, but it was raining hard. Which brings up a situation that should be a reason to look for alternatives other than, return to your vehicle in the rain and wait to be called. We left in the rain, we got wet, and being amazed by the terrible treatment and lack of consideration, decided to go to another place to eat, not even 2 minutes had passed, (which was the time we would have waited inside the place). They called on the phone to tell us that the table was ready. I asked to speak to the manager and to add to this bad experience, we were contacted by a lady who claimed to be the owner of the place. He spoke with us, apologized for what happened, explained that he could not break the rules (in a not very friendly tone) trying to justify why they removed us from his establishment due to the protocol without any consideration, knowing that it was raining strong. These things cannot happen. There is a protocol, but there should be common sense, empathy, kindness, and consideration. For those qualities we Puerto Ricans distinguish ourselves. COVID-19, nor anything else should change that.
