We recently completed a kitchen renovation using cabinets from Acorn and couldn’t be happier. From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. Justin Terban is a consummate professional and a joy to work with. He has a wonderful eye for design and offered excellent advice in helping to make our kitchen not only beautiful but functional! He was always available for questions and when we had a small issue with a cabinet pullout missing he was on the phone that day to order another one. Highly recommended!
Acorn just completed our kitchen remodel in our 1929 house. I highly recommend our designer, Christie. We presented her with a general idea of what we wanted and she did an amazing job guiding us on our design choices. We also used Acorn for the complete installation. The project manager, Tony, worked with us every step of the way and completed everything on schedule. We are very happy with the results.
This was the worst experience I have ever had while remodeling my home. I ordered a custom bathroom sink and vanity March 1, 2021. It was supposed to be completed in 8 weeks. It was finally installed today, August 10, 2021. I was told “it fell through the cracks” and was forgotten about when I called to inquire about my order in June . It was installed in July, but the vanity was cut incorrectly, not the custom vanity I ordered. When I called to discuss the mistake, Brandon Ruby (sales) and Lori Macdonald (the manager) did not want to take accountability and just admit it was wrong. Brandon even laughed. After much argument with Lori, the manager, about how she thinks my bathroom should look, and proving that the vanity was incorrect, it was remade. The customer service is terrible for the amount of money that is being spent. There was no remorse for my time and money. I had to wait 5 months for my bathroom to be completed because Acorn, Brandon Ruby, and Lori MacDonald did a poor job at communication, customer service, and customer satisfaction. They didn’t deserve my money and time and they don’t deserve anyone else’s money and time. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.
I started working on my kitchen design over 6 months ago. During this time the owner refused to wear a mask during the height of the pandemic. Her reasoning was I already got it so Im safe. Well, Its been well over the 3 month safety period and she and all the staff in the warehouse walk freely throughout the business without wearing a mask. This total disregard for the safety of their customers is irresponsible at best.
I am a custom home builder and I have ordered countless kitchen and bath cabinets from Acorn Cabinets for over ten years. The homes I build are in the $1-4 million dollar range and my customers expect high quality cabinetry and service and we get that from Acorn. They have a wide selection of cabinets in various price points that are also affordable.Lastly the owner, Joe, and his sales manager, Lori, are people of high integrity that bend over backward to keep their customers happy. If there are any issues you can count on them to resolve them quickly and professionally.
Colleen was a DREAM to work with! From the first time we walked into the showroom to the final install day, she was always making sure our project was running smoothly. Colleen was able to work with the cabinet manufacturer to create custom pieces we had requested and made our vision of a contemporary kitchen come to life. We selected Omega Cabinets, and the quality is superb. Well definitely be using Acorn K & B for any other projects we may have.
Christie Stasiak took my jumbled ideas and turned them into a stunning kitchen layout. She is brilliant with design and working with different spaces. She was very patient and walked through different concepts and ideas with us (a few times as I changed my mind and some edits). :)The Kemper cabinets are gorgeous and they all came in at the same time and were packaged really well.It was a great experience!
I called Acorn last week to see if they had replacement hinges in stock for my Aristokraft cabinets. Aristokraft has a LIFETIME warranty on hinges. I was informed by Tim that they may or may not have them in stock and that Aristokraft only has a 5 year warranty on their hinges. He was “gracious” enough to offer to give me the hinges for “free” if they had them in stock or he could order them if need be. I told him I was pretty sure that they had a lifetime warranty and he disagreed but said he would “give” me the hinges even though they were Aristokraft cabinets “our builders base grade” cabinets. Well, Tim I would like to tell you that Aristokraft DOES still have a lifetime warranty on their hinges and I ordered them from their website. I am not going to drive 20 miles to pick up hinges you “might” have in stock because you are too lazy to check your inventory. Furthermore I had planned to look at countertops while I was there because we are remodeling. We did choose to keep our “builders grade cabinets” however because we like them but our countertops and floor need replacing. We will not be shopping at Acorn. You lost yourself a lifetime customer. I don’t think Aristokraft would be very happy to know that you are misrepresenting them as well. I gave Acorn 2 stars because I have had positive experiences with them in the past but clearly customer service is no longer a priority.
It was a great experience working with Christy Stasiak at Acorn Kitchen and bath. If it wasn’t for Christy to help me through the experience I could not have accomplished my dream kitchen come through. Christie was fantastic and very patient with me and helped me with picking everything to coordinate my beautiful kitchen. I highly recommend Christy to help you achieve your goal
We contracted Acorn for a Kitchen Renovation and they did a fantastic job from design to installation. They worked within our budget, provided good suggestions from design to materials and hit all of their target dates. I will be using them again for future work!
We recently hired Acorn Kitchen and Bath to select cabinets and install them in our kitchen. They provided a design and installation that met our budget expectations. We worked with Justin Terban and contractor Tony Salinas did the installation. Both were highly professional and easy to reach. They were very flexible about the fact that we hired our own contractors for the floor and the counter tops. Coordination and timing of the installs went smoothly. The cabinets were slow to arrive but we were very pleased with their quality. Once the work started it was done quickly and the final result is excellent. The installers showed up when they said they would and they kept us apprised of their progress. I would go back to Acorn Kitchen and Bath to get more work done in my house and I recommend them highly.
Hard to find someone that could help, just like I was in a home depot lol. Eventually I did and everything worked out well.
Great experience with Justin.
Worst money i have spent. Bad products, staff is worse dont do it.
I am thrilled with my new kitchen. The entire experience with Acorn was 5 stars! From the design phase to the final walk through this morning, the service levels and quality of work were excellent. Ive compared notes with friends and family who are experienced with home renovation projects. My project came in on time, on budget, and was far smoother than what I was prepared for it to be. I will be doing a bathroom project with Acorn in 2016 and look forward to another fantastic outcome. If you are looking for a great family owned company to partner with on a kitchen or bath project, I highly recommend Acorn Kitchen and Bath.
Both the owner and the designer came to my home to get ideas and measure. Turn around time for design was quick and precise. The designer listened to what I wanted and came through with flying colors. Shipment time was very accurate as well...roughly 6 weeks for cabinets to come in. I am very happy with both my master bath and kitchen and would highly recommend Acorn to everyone. Thanks Acorn for doing such a great job!!!
This is the third time we have worked with Acorn Kitchen and Bath - recently with a remodel of our bath and laundry rooms. We are extremely pleased with everything! Annie Einheuser, our designer, and Tony, the contractor, were so professional, helpful and friendly every step of the way. She was prompt with responses to our phone calls and emails, helpful with choosing the perfect quartz, and creative with design suggestions. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. We would recommend Acorn to everybody!
Their salesperson Christina (who isnt with Acorn anymore) was great to work with on our kitchen install. She got us a great deal and our cabinets look beautiful. I would recommend Acorn to anyone if Acorn continues to provide the same service we got, even without Christina.
The designer that assisted me at Acorn was great! He gave me alot of ideas and stuck to my budget when designing my bathroom. The timing was even quicker than he quoted so that made me really happy! When I had to call the store for assistance they were always polite and helpful. My master bath turned out fabulous and I would definitely recommend Acorn to anyone doing their bathroom or kitchen.
I was so happy that I choose to go to Acorn. I worked with Lori MacDonald Sunday and she created my dream kitchen. What a beautiful design and quality material. The process was easy and the contractors did amazing work as well.
Everyone at Acorn Kitchen and Bath is helpful and friendly. We had a limited budget and no idea what we wanted to do and Acorn helped us every step of the way. Our new bathroom is gorgeous and all of our guests are impressed. I recommend Acorn to everybody.
We worked with Annie Einheuser for design and Tony Salinas for install. Wonderful team! They delivered just what we wanted in a professional, timely, and cost-effective way. The whole experience working with Acorn was very positive. I would definitely recommend Acorn in general, and Annie and Tony in particular.
Rachael was great to work with!
Stay away from Acorn Kitchen and Bath.. They are rude and never cam back to finish our kitchen they lie its been almost 3 years now and they still refuse to finish our projectIn other words run run fast and dont look back or let them in your house to do any work on your home. The owners wife told me we had the job from hell Tony Jr. Was a total liar no follow up to finish the job... Do not deal with them you WILL be sorry.
They have different great design for counter top.
Spent an hour with the designer - he was so busy that didnt give us quote right away, promising to call back. One week later - no calls, no quote, no messages returned. Do not waste your time going there.
After months of research to find the right cabinets for remodeling our kitchen we selected Acorn Kitchen and Bath for purchasing our cabinets. We selected Omega Dynasty cabinetry. The primary reason we chose Acorn Kitchen and Bath was because of their Senior Designer, Christie Stasiak CKD, CBD. Christie is extremely professional, knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with. We are very happy with our new kitchen cabinets and design!
I walked around the showroom for 30 mins. No one asked if they could help. I purchased my last kitchen from them 10 years ago. Moved to a new house and redoing my kitchen . Aweful. Will not be back.
I had a great experience with Lori. I couldnt make up my mind about cabinets that I wanted for my kitchen. Lori had a lot of patience with my husband and myself. I couldnt be anymore happier with how is came out. Thanks.
Terrible Customer Service. Requested a quote on ONE cabinet and after waiting over a week with no response stopped into Acorn to check on it and that is when the service got even worse. Tim attempted to help us however without understanding what we were even looking for told us the cabinet would be at least $2,500. He obviously did not want to help or understand. I then proceeded to ask for a color sample for the cabinet (the one we request Ed the quote on) said he did not have access to our order. (A few weeks earlier the first person that tried helping us pulled up our order from 2 years prior). We were obviously an inconvenience to Tim, in return will not be returning. Such a shame because we were going to go through them for our kitchen and dining room remodel.
I would like to start by saying I was a little hesitant to take on such a big renovation. A few years ago I used another company to redo my master bathroom with mixed results. Acorn outperformed my previous contractor in all areas. They were on schedule, on budget, and catered to all of my needs. I am writing this review because its been over three months since they renovated our chefs kitchen and my wife is still amazed every day by the quality work Acorn delivered. Thank you Acorn (especially Lori!) for helping me give my wife her dream kitchen!
Thank you Frank for working with us getting our kitchen cabinets and bathrooms picked out...cant wait to see how they are going to look
The kitchen is beautiful but the process was a nightmare. Poor communication is Acorns hallmark. They left the job 90% done 5 months into what was quoted to take 3 weeks. Every miss communication between Acorn and their subcontractors was my fault; it was mine to resolve with angry subcontractors. They treated the process like it is normal business and kept telling me that I was lucky it was happening in the summer when I could use my deck.I’d suggest you stay away.
We recently hired Acorn Kitchen and Bath to provide design services and cabinets in our old farm house in Groveland Township in Northern Oakland County. Senior designer Christie Stasiak was assigned to our job. Christie literally took a sows ear and made a silk purse out of it.Our job proceeded on time and under budget. When Main Street bank inspector made his final inspection, the first word out of his mouth was WOW! Much credit must be given to the technician who went above and beyond as he installed cabinets and counter tops in a very out of square room. At night when all the lights are off the room glows like a diamond in the sky.We couldnt be happier and more proud to recommend Acorn Kitchen and Bath to anyone looking to upgrade or new build a project of this proportion.Tom and Claudia McClerren
We had someone come to our home and design our kitchen. She was great and we loved her plan. However, follow through was an issue. We had a major issue with a countertop that took months to resolve. Phone calls and e mails went unanswered and we were left frustrated. It took several months to resolve our issue and the customer service was not what I would have hoped. In the end our flawed countertop was eventually replaced at no additional cost to us and we were happy with the end results.
Back in September Pam came to my house to look at my kitchen and measure for new cabinets. She soon called and asked me to come in and look at the design she came up with. It looked great! I picked out my door style and finish. She came back out for one final measurement before she ordered my cabinets. Originally I was planning on having the new cabinets installed after the holidays but after seeing Pams design I couldnt wait. I went to Monte Granite and picked out my Granite slab (very affordable) Acorn fit me in before Christmas. The day of the install the installer was on time. He was very friendly and courteous. It took him most of the day, but at the end of the day the cabinets were in and looked beautiful. Just a couple days later my granite and sink arrived. Went in within an hour. I had the room painted and added a range hood and glass/marble backsplash myself. Now that the kitchen is done, I cant believe its my kitchen. It looks like a kitchen from HGTV or a kitchen out of a magazine. Thank you so much Pam and Joe for being there every step of the way. Cant wait to work with you again on my bathroom project.Johnathan RimerWaterford, Michigan
Very poor customer service. Slow response time from sales rep. His final email was a quote which was double his guestimate but with no explanation or a phone call.
