Cashiers on their phone dont even notice customers waiting in line. Always seem to have an issue with pick up from this store. Ask management for help and they create more problems like they want the customer to sit and wait. Faster to go pick it up yourself and buy it, than deal with clerks at pick up. Never run into these issues.

A vary good place and my grandma died after working there for 40 years and they honored her vary well in her death and when you need help they help you vary well.

I first called on Wednesday and spoke to Jerome..I asked, if he could check stock on an table because other store informed me they only had 2. Without hesitation he checked the floor stock to be on the safe side and found out there were actually 4, even though the system showed 2..I went to the store this morning with my fur baby. Well, Jerome also ended up helping me with the table as well. He was so nice and helpful from the beginning and hes the reason i decided to drive to that location. To be honest, everyone working I came in contact with were all pretty nice. I will definitely return to that location real soon.

The employees at this store seem to be much more happy than the ones on 12 Mile and 7mile.

The greeter was very friendly, she asked if she could direct me to a product. I was just looking but she seemed knowledgeable on the location of items. The prices do seem a bit higher than other similar stores.

They have these paver blocks to make easy raised bed gardens. The pavers are $3.28. They had the rebar I was looking for as well.

Quickly found what we needed and checked out quickly at the self checkout.

Plant quality is down and 1 year warranty is now 90 days. Every shrub i bought this year struggled and 2 died. 90 day warranty bc you know your plants are bad.

Limited selection on many items and out of stocks were higher than usual. The in-stock levels posted on their website did not match the in-store reality for items I was looking for.The one employee that did speak to us was stocking in the aisle we were shopping. Unfortunately, he became very impatient with us taking too much time and being in his way... So he left us hanging. A thoroughly unproductive visit.Clean store though. Plenty of registers open, as well... too bad my experience didnt allow me to buy anything.

Im sure everyone has a difficult time getting competent help currently. Since last March when I bought a Anderson patio door wall and the fella loaded the right hand door instead of the left hand door its been a fiasco. Since the installers were here and I didnt have time I simply went and bought the left hand parts. However White Lake did not have the frame kit. I had to drive to Pontiac where they said they had the frame kit but actually did not. Then I drove to the Auburn hills store where they actually did have one. I called both stores beforehand. I returned all of the wrong pieces without a problem. Still, it was a fiasco.

Personally, I love Lowes over Home Depot, HOWEVER, if youre building something Home Depot is where I go, since the products seem to be straighter/more uniform!As for the finishing touches, hardware, appliances, decor, etc., then I go to Lowes!

Stopped at the Pontiac Home Depot yesterday and was very impressed with the plumbing department. The gentleman went out of his way to find pipe hangers for me, very knowledgeable of what I was looking for.

Do not have your carpet installed by their sub-contractor AIS. First installer didnt follow the floor plan and put a seam where it was not suppose to be. Also, made a tripping hazard by floating carpet over a 1 step-up in front of shower. After AIS fired that installer for poor workmanship on my job and a few others, Home Depot offered to replace only half my job. Needless to say, the carpet was a different color lot and did not match what wasnt replaced, And again, the next install floated over the same area, after telling them not to do so.All said and done, I paid nearly $1800. for a two color carpet job, had to remove and replace bedroom furniture twice, and can still see every seam.

Very clean and organized store and friendly staff. I was immediately offered help when I was standing still and browsing and I was left alone when walking. Absolutely perfect experience. Went in to buy some utility rope and I found quality utility rope, poly, at a great price for the footage. I was in and out quicker than planned.

Last year we bought 2 washers, 2 dryers, a microwave and an oven. All from Home Depot and all GE. I’m not normally one to write a negative review but I feel I need to in this case.We had issues right at the install but we still had to go to GE for service (once it leaves the store it’s not their issue which is so disappointing! 😡) and it has been horrible. Everything except for the oven (knock on wood) has had multiple service calls and/or multiple replacements. It’s amazing how poorly they have handled it all.Home Depot should have let us return the washers and dryers immediately but they didn’t.GE should have replaced the washers and dryers and the microwave after coming multiple times but they delayed and made excuses. Finally the washers and dryers are repaired or replaced but it took over a year to get them all working.No joke - they have been here 13+ times and we are still waiting on a third repair to the microwave now.Completely unacceptable. I would never expect to be treated so poorly by Home Depot or GE. The amount of time and effort we have spent is crazy.I was so excited for my new laundry room and new kitchen appliances but the experience has just been horrible.

The Pontiac Store is a pigsty. The material is becoming defective due to improper storage.The employees are almost impossible to find and when you do you have to wait until they finish their personal conversation with another employee or their cell phones.

Really freindly employees when you actually start talking to them. I was helped by two employees with a smile on. Laverne helped me in the paint department and was very nice. This place is a joke... Went there this more to get ply boards for the job... Got few to many went to return them a few hrs latter mind u they are 41.00 per board they only was going to give us 10.00 per board then manager asked us to leave before they called the cops on us when we asked why.... We are contacting cooperate... N deff will not be doing no more business with them poor staff as well

Purchased fenceing online from here to be delivered which delivery hours are 6 am to 8 pm.(forewarning) He shows up at 2 with only half so i call the complaint line they say manager notified us only half was coming which was not true no phone call, no text,no email. Driver said additional fenceing was sitting there but she had overbooked deliveries so not enough room on truck bed,so than itI was told the rest would arrive next day so later in the day today my husband called finds out not coming now till next day noone notified us of another change. Who is able to take 3 days off work to sign for delivery ? Incompetent and inconsiderate with a capital I, so good luck to you if you ever purchase something from this store that you need delivered..

Home Depot is still my favorite Hardware Store to shop at. Inventory has gone back up after the increase of home projects during covid pandemic. There are many long time staff members that are very kind and helpful. And lets just say there are some rotten apples in the bunch that can spoil a trip to the Depot. Store is clean and ready to navigate.

I went looking for electric outlets, had a nice employee walk with me to show me where they were. Hubby tried to return stones we bought at home depot without receipt. Cashier kinda snippy to hubby, was told could not find the stones and asking garden to come figure them out. I showed up and produced receipt on my phone. She scanned bar code for refund, rang up my purchases, and then was very pleasant to us. Mostly positive experience.

This particular Home Depot didnt have everything I needed. Store=Clean. People= Very Helpful. Experience = Great save for out of stock parts.

Avoid their consumer credit card. Citi made a billing error on my wifes account and it has been 4 months and Citi has still not fixed it after numerous calls and it has negatively affected my wifes credit.

No one to help and no one greeted. Poor service all around. I asked for some help and waited my entire lunch break with the same employee circling around me.

Has everything you need with great prices. Applying for a credit card is fast and easy. Workers are friendly and helpful. I recommend going for any and all improvement needs.

Terrible customer service. I am a small guy out of many but my money is going to menards. Menards has improved on there customer service so much over the last few years. I use to go there and never get help on a product I was looking for. They wont even know where to point me to. They were also a new store. But now they can direct me and even stay with me as I request different items from different departments. Great store. Menards all the way.

I am not a very handy person. I’ve been visiting this Home Depot on and off for the past few months working on my own little projects. When I’m searching for tools and other items I need, I always feel lost. Whenever I ask any associate a question, they always help me. In my most recent visit I was looking for a specific set of screws to make shelves, not only did someone help me but they suggested a better set of screws than fit my shelve holes perfectly!

I saw a similar review to mine. I’m a 8 year Combat Vet and have never been turned down for my Veteran Discount at a Home Depot store until I went into the Pontiac store. Seems like Home Depot needs to check there in store policies. Plus don’t order online if you want to take advantage of a Military discount because you don’t get one that way either.

Ordered a chipper shredder online, since it was not stocked at any of my local home depots. Since I am a military veteran, I receive a 10% discount on all my purchases, except online ordering.People at the customer service, when I picked it up, were able to give me the 10% discount.Absolutely fantastic service, highly recommend.

Pretty much for your home improvement needs HD has most everything you need. The only exception is the customer service. If you have questions the staff runs and hides not all the time obviously.

The Home Depot is okay but what is need is more personal and a better awareness of the products sold there and where to locate them in the store. I like Home Depot and will shop there for home improvement items whenever possible.

Ordered flooring in January. Was never delivered. Came to cancel order and they told me I have to pay 15% restocking fees.
