Fixed my car in a timely matter price wasnt too bad either.

I would have given this repair shop a 4 or 5 stars for the price of installing both left and right control arms on my Ford 500 at a very reasonable price with me providing the parts which was cheaper for me to have done so. The price they charged me was very reasonable, but the next day, the mechanic called me and stated that it took his mechanic a lot longer to do the job and ask if I can pay $50 extra for that reason. I was appalled and felt that it is not my problem if their mechanic couldnt repair the problem in the time allotted to complete the job, but I agreed to pay the extra $50 which I was not happy about. I would like to go back for future repairs, but I keep wondering if a mechanic doesnt repair my vehicle in a certain amount of time, I will be charged for it. 😒

Perry St. Auto is the ONLY place I take any of my vehicles for repair. Theyre a little pricey at times but they do GREAT WORK. If its repairable they let you know up front and they stand behind their Work, be it a High end Car, a Classic or a plane Old HOOPTY if its repairable they can Fix it .

I had the worst experience ever at this shop. I took my car to be repaired and when I got it back, my glove compartment was broken (which was not broken before I took it there). Also someone had the nerve to eat in my car and leave a wrapper in my passenger side door. Then when I informed the repair guy of the issues, he became very unprofessional and rude which was totally unacceptable. He had the nerve to blame the broken compartment on ME (HOW DARE HE)!! I will NEVER EVER return to this place, as I paid him good money to fix one thing, but he gave me my car back with something else wrong. UNPROFESSIONAL!! When you take your vehicle to someone, it should be returned in the same condition once it has been fixed, not with a whole different issue. He also needs to learn customer service. Instead of being rude, he should have stopped to hear my concerns and worked with me to get to a resolution, but he did not. TERRIBLE SHOP I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. SHAME ON HIM!!

A couple of weeks ago I went in for an oil change and a look-see at a different mechanic, which shall remain nameless in this review. They came back saying that I needed to spend half a grand in repairs on the torn boots on both sides of my front tires (I drive a FWD Ford Taurus). I was shocked because my car was driving smoothly and steering straight with no bumping or juddering.I called Perry Street Auto for a second opinion and they fit me in last minute during my lunch break. Their mechanic got her lifted up and thoroughly inspected the suspension. I asked to see the boots myself (these are the bellows that connect the drive shaft to the tire from the transmission) that the other mechanic claimed needed replacing. The owner of the shop obliged and even accompanied me to inspect the car himself. No damage. Turns out that I was lied to the first time around.I want thank the mechanics at Perry Street for accommodating me at such short notice, being thorough in their inspection, and transparent in letting me it see for myself. These people work hard and have integrity. Their word means something and Im happy to do business with them.

These guys are awesome Perry Street Auto will take good care of you how do I know because they took good care of me. They fix my vehicle in a good amount of time. They even shuttled me where I had to go once I drop my vehicle off to them and pick me up once they was done. George and his crew was the best. P.S they will not over charge you on the work that they do.

Hands down the best shop Ive ever worked with.I usually do my own work but this was a job that was out of my wheelhouse. My lower control arm bracket had snapped off the axle housing of my Jeep TJ and several shops had turned down the work. These guys did a perfect job and I could not be happier!
