ERICA WAS AMAZING! My phone died and would no longer charge. I had no idea what to do (I am technologically challenged)! Erica was so patient and helpful. She spent all day working with me to set up my new phone. She was able to save and restore all my info, taught me how to save it myself and even gave me instructions over the phone. I could not ask for better customer service. I would absolutely return to this store for service and would recommend everyone go see Erica! Thank you for making my life easier!

Brooke is amazing! I recently purchased a new phone which required a smaller SIM card. Brooke, who at the time was the sole employee in the store, got me set up with a new SIM and copied everything off my old phone to the new one… no charge! And she did this while multitasking and helping two other customers almost simultaneously. This location is Verizon’s best kept secret.

I was very disappointed in how the recent purchase of my phone went at this Verizon affiliate store owned by Wireless Zone in Poquoson. We purchased the phone on a Monday and thought everything was fine until we were called back to the store the next day, Tuesday, because the store said they didn’t receive our $145 payment for the taxes, a case, and a pop socket. Also, we were told the new phone was still showing in their inventory. They tried to redo the transaction but couldn’t do it because the computer system said the trade-in promotion was already used. An associate suggested that we trade in the old phone ourselves through the website, for $200 less than the promotion we’d originally gotten! Our online credit card account said our first payment was still pending so at their request I went back on Wednesday to see Joe, the Manager. He did an override to get us the promotion and I was asked to pay the taxes again. Joe said that for the trouble he would give us the case and pop socket for free. He also said if the original payment cleared to come back and he’d give us a refund. Of course, the payment cleared. Now we’d been charged twice. On Thursday morning, I sent Joe an email informing him of the original cleared charge and the pending second charge to let him know I’d be by for the refund. When I got there, I was told only Joe could do that and he would not be in that day. They told me he would be in at 9:00 on Friday. I went back to the store Friday at 9:30 and he was not there. I was told he wouldn’t be in until the afternoon. At this point my I was so frustrated I asked my husband to stop by on my way home from work. I was shocked when my husband told me Joe took back his offer for the free case and pop socket and was only willing to refund the lesser payment of $72. Also, Joe was unable to refund the money to our credit card so we have to wait on a check in 7 to 10 days, which we still haven’t gotten. We had to go to the store every day that week, Monday through Friday, making all the effort to help the staff fix issues that were on their end. I don’t remember ever having a worse retail experience. I sent Joe’s boss an email complaint about the experience but have received no reply. Apparently, they aren’t worried about it. This store is definitely not recommended. Go to a real Verizon store.

My wife purchased a phone from this store and Joseph was great. Purchase went without a hitch. So I decided to upgrade my phone as well. Phone I wanted (iPhone 12) was not in stock so Joseph found the phone at another one of your stores and drove there to get the phone for me. At this point in our experience, we would give a five star rating. However, in the initial setup process my old passcode was put into the new phone and then asked for two more digits. I am not sure what went wrong with the initial passcode, or if misunderstood the two extra digits, or if I misunderstood him or miscommunicated he code to him. Regardless of what happened, I could not get into my phone when I got home and in trying possible codes, the phone became disabled. The next morning I returned to the store to seek some help with the situation only to be told by a different associate that the issue was between myself and Apple, Verizon was out of it. No empathy at all; and for us to keep her posted on what I find out. I understand that she could not solve my problem, but her callous attitude was an example of the poorest in customer service.Post Script: Joseph is the Man! After spending 2 hours on the phne with Apple, they directed me to a competitor to see if they could help. After about an hour the tech suggested I return the phone and ask for a new one. I did that and Joseph was working. I explained the problem to him and he had the phone working in about 15 minutes. His smooth, pleasant demeanor was an excellent change from what I got the previous afternoon. Kudos to Joseph.

Been over an hour now and still havent been acknowledged. The only employee working has been waiting on an older couple to think of their appleID for over an hour, while customers wait in the store. Customers have been leaving, while the same couple sit and try to think of their password. No one else is in front of me and yet I still have not been acknowledged.After sitting there an hour and a half, the employee finally asked me if he can help me. I asked to buy an iPhone 7 and he tells me they dont even keep them in stock. Had he even attempted to help the next customer in line he could have saved me an hour and a half of my life.Worst customer service I have ever gotten in a Verizon.

I got outstanding service. I purchased a new s20 ultra from the store manager and had a zillion questions for her. To her credit she was patient and took time to find all the answers I needed prior to getting the phone. I was not treated like just get the phone and leave like at a corporate store. I went back the next day for more questions and purchased the liquid glass screen coating that was installed by Danielle. The store has a much more relaxed atmosphere than the store I normally go to. This will be my store from now on.Bob

She is probably the best person I’ve come in contact with at any Verizon store (and I have been to my fair share)!! Came in to find an option to track my son and Jeff M told me about the great option of just adding a line to my account, so now a have a great s10+!!So apparently Jeff M or the company who owns this location hacks Google accounts now? I never posted this review. I never would have posted this review. We went to the location to look at GPS tracker watches if available, or a phone option. I did NOT want to add a line, something I already knew about. I had already researched the marginally better S10+ (over my S8+), Jeff answered three questions: how much do they charge for activation (which he dodged and is $60+tax), whats the difference between the S10+/S10/S10 5g, and does my military discount apply to their activation fees. Thats is. No huge help. Felt like every other used car dealer Ive ever dealt with. I decided my best option to purchase a phone there rather than drive all the way across town, a mistake I will NEVER make again. Do not use this location, do not buy from Jeff here or in Smithfield. This is the scummiest thing Ive ever seen and I feel violated and abused. Good job, Verizon authorized retailer, youve gone from getting no review to giving yourself a 5 star review which is now a 1 star. Youre disgusting!

If anyone plans to visit this store see Sarah the assistant manager. She turned a previous experience, in which I delt with someone from another store, into a 180. After first visit I was not happy with my purchase or the knowledge of the associate. Now I feel comfortable revisiting and referring anyone to this store. Hi,My name is Lisa and I would just like to take a sec to say, that since I moved to Poquoson, Virginia some 20 plus years ago, I have purchased all of my iPhones from the Verizon Store on Wythe Creek Rd. in Poquoson.The reasons being are that it is a small store, the personnel are excellently trained, give educated advice, are very personable and give first class service!Also, after you make your purchase, you are not forgotten. If for some reason you have a question and you drop by or give them a call, they always greet or speak with you, with a pleasant attitude and help you wade through any of the technological questions that some of us just may not understand.Just today, I had a question about a certain search engine popping up and asking me about my password over and over again.I couldn’t understand why it was happening all the sudden. And, it has been annoying the heck out of me for days!I know it’s not The Verizon Store’s job to help me with that kind of a situation. But, I decided to call them just in case they knew what might be happening.I spoke with Danielle and she explained to me that it “is“ something new Apple has implemented. And that unfortunately, I will have to get in touch with them, “Apple.“At least I now know what to do and why it’s been happening. She also let me know she’s been hearing about it a lot and that I’m not the only one that has been concerned about this problem.Danielle could’ve just said, “Sorry, don’t have a clue.“ Or, “We don’t handle those kind of problems.“ But, she took the time to let me know that I was not the only one out there that was experiencing this irritating situation and how I would need to go about getting the problem solved.*Note to the owners of The Verizon Store in Poquoson.Danielle is a great asset to your company.
