Had a good experience buying a used dryer. They did everything they said they would when I bought it. Had a good experience with them when I ran into issues. They took care of everything. I think the last guy I saw may have been mad and seemed like maybe at me. A weird exchange at the end but they took care of everything for me so 5 stars!!

Extremely unprofessional. I left a bad review because they have bad customer service and they called me on my business phone to yell at me and let me know they saw my review. I told them I have had 2 heart attacks and cant wear a mask due to low oxygen and they still told me I had to wear one while at the same time claiming they care about the safety of others. They are forcing a blind faith on their customers to believe that a mask will save them and they dont even know what the local ordinance or the cdc says about it. Extremely unprofessional and the community needs to hold them accountable to this and call them to better business practices and higher standards. I still cant believe they called me to yell at me. Amazing.

Extremely unprofessional. My husband went in to get a couple parts for our dryer and when he walked in there were a couple employees who werent wearing a mask and they rushed to put one on. Then they proceeded to ask my husband to wear one, when he tried to explain that the ordinance for masks states you dont need to if you have a medical condition and if you can social distance they were very rude . They refused to reason with him, even after he went on to tell them that he has had two heart attacks and wearing a mask is not safe for him due to restricted oxygen. They decided to serve him outside, thats fine, But then they said that if the $50 part (which is online for $6) doesnt work that they would not take it back. He said Okay, thank you and left. We will take our chances with having to buy multiple parts online than support this business. Again very unprofessional, and rude customer service. He left them a bad review and shortly afterwards they called him (on his business phone which they wrote down from his truck) yelling at him for leaving a bad review. I would not normally get on here to write another bad review, but the nasty phone call was enough for me to take time to do so. Reading their other reviews, many mention they arent wearing a mask when you come in and they have had loved ones die from covid (which they also told my husband) and masks are necessary..but at the same time, they dont wear them and rush to put them on when customers come in. Hypocrisy at its finest. Needless to say, we will not be supporting this small business and will let our friends and family know not to as well. Which is a shame because we try to support local, small businesses whenever we can.

Me and my husband visited the appliance store today. When we first walked in a gentleman had no mask on. We where approached by a Lady. No hi or good afternoon 😕. She asked do we have a mask. My husband said no. She rudely said thats our policy.(man in store had no mask) My husband said fine we will go somewhere else too buy. We headed out the door almost to our car. The man with no mask rudely started yelling, cussing at us. NOT A GOOD WAY FOR A BUSINESS EMPLOYEE OR OWNER. MAYBE YOU SHOULD LEAVE POLITICAL OUT OF IT. HE YELLED THAT WE WHERE TRUMPSTER. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BUYING APPLIANCES AT YOUR STORE. I would not recommend buying anything from this store. I hope this helps someone. Very rude people...

I didnt want to leave a bad review for a small local business, but the service demanded that I let other people know. First, I called about two parts for my dryer that needed to be replaced, and asked for a price quote. They said that they had both in stock but I noticed they were ten times more expensive than buying online. It was explained to me that this is because these are OEM parts and that the ones online are cheaper because they are not OEM and will not last as long. That was a good enough explanation to me about value, and I committed to driving all the way from Venice to support a local business. Unfortunately when I showed up, I was met with no welcome, but instead hostility. They immediately treated me as though I had some disease and required me to wear a mask to serve me inside per the ordinance of Charlotte County. I dont think these people have done their research on either the county ordinance or the mask. They just blindly follow half of what theyre told which makes them even more restrictive than the CDC and the local government. The local ordinance states that there are specific medical exemptions and that those medical exemptions do not require a person to wear masks. I have a medical exemption, and they still tried to make me wear a mask. The ordinance also states that if you are social distancing you do not have to wear a mask. The older gentleman who I talked to later, was not wearing a mask when I walked in so this is blatant hypocrisy. I tried to engage in a civil discussion about masks and particular studies that the CDC has done and even about Fauci with the woman, to try to point out that they have contradicted themselves several times over. After listening to her about her concerns, instead of letting me speak she said that she is going to just listen to Fauci and the CDC and walked away. Not a professional way to run a business. This blind faith about masks is fine, but dont require your customers to follow an ordinance so blindly and refuse service if they dont. Its like requiring all your customers to follow a particular religion and refusing service if they can see its false. Wont be going back or recommending them, but will instead purchase online from now on and if I have to buy 10 parts, I will. Ill still save money because even if I wanted to buy a part, they dont have a return policy on them.

After looking for a refrigerator at several stores I went to Action Appliance by recommendation. First Mel to care of us and made sure the refrigerator that I wanted was in stock. They ordered it and called in 4 days that it was in the store. The quoted me a time received the call that they would be at my house in 20 minutes. Right on the dot they were there. Had a minor issue called and Matt came out ordered the part called me when it was in. Matt came back at the time they told me and installed the part. Above and beyond service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. As for the 2 guys who delivered they were great in installing it. Hats off to everyone and to Matt for his patience with Mya my dog. She even stopped barking at him.

Myself and a client came in to purchase a washer/dryer set last week. Picking out one we decided to get it this week. Assisting my client with calling to verify payment before delivery, I was told to bring payment by the end of day or early in,the morning to catch tomorrows delivery. I asked was cash or check okay. I was told either. When I arrived to drop payment, the lady at the front was nice. She couldnt assist me so she got Skip. Im not sure if it was because it was the end of the day or a bad day but he was very rude and disrespectful. I understand the laws for using checks but his approach and deliverance was very direspectful, displaying poor customer service. He then got on the phone in the midst of our conversation. The lady was attempting to help but I told,her that it was fine. I would not allow my individuals to spend their money somewhere who lacks professionalism and exhibits poor customer service skills. I was referred to this place by someone who did the exact thing as I did. Her experience was different but I will never return.

I’ve bought quite few appliances from these people. I went to buy a new fridge and dishwasher in dec 16 2020, and they were rude about the fact that I don’t own or wear a mask. Needless to say the salesman was nice everyone else can kick rocks. Especially the lady at the front.

I called Action Appliance because they could come out on Saturday to look at my Maytag washing machine. The guy came out within an hour and diagnosed the problem. They ordered the parts and had it fixed by Thursday. The repair guy, Jessie, was very polite and professional. Every person I spoke with on the phone was courteous. The price was reasonable and my washing machine works great. I would recommend Action Appliance and would use their company again.

I called to inquire for a refrigerator gasket replacement for both the freezer and fresh food side of my refrigerator. He looked them both up and they would have cost me over $225 combined and then labor as well. He offered to show me how to remove and replace them myself ....that isn’t all he gave me the gaskets he had on a refrigerator he had in the back. Very honest and nice people.

Friendly showroom service. Fast and efficient. The prices are great. They dont try to talk you into higher priced stuff. You make your own decision. Delivery is easy. Next day! They hooked up my new reconditioned stove and hauled away my old stove. Will definitely return for any other appliance needs!

Horrible place. They deserve ZERO stars. I called and asked for an oval to round dyer connection and they said they didnt even know one existed. They said to bend and rig up the round one to fit. Even though there are warning against that due to fire hazards.... thats what they recommended. Then they mocked me for saying thats not right and hung up. This is how they treat people. I can only imagine what they would be like if I actually made a purchase from them and had an issue. I hope no one has this kind of experience.

The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. Delivered a new washer that was broken and then wanted me to have it repaired instead of replaced. Owner then agreed to replace both washer and dryer but because I had contacted the BBB, she reneged and then hung up on me. She picked up washer but did not pick up dryer. I work in Healthcare and have been without a washer that I need to clean my uniforms to take care of elderly patients

Turned out I only needed the vent cleaned which they provided that service. They definitely could have taken my money for a new dryer but instead were honest and helpful. I bought a maytag front load washer. Was given a great price that beat out Home Depot and delivered on the same day. They also are a factory warranty servicer so I know if I ever need it I will have local service. The delivery team was friendly and fast. I am very happy with it.

Absolutely terrible place to buy new or used. The first dryer that we bought used almost burnt our house down in the first week. Clothes and top end caught on fire. When they came out even though evidence showed ( top was completely melted ) they tried to say it was fine. We debated and settled on another used one from them due to the fire hazard. Second machine came. Within the first hour of trying it the press start button pushed through and we called and told them bracket was broken holding button. They said they’d order part and have people come out to replace because it was under warranty. It has been four months and no one came to replace the part so it’s rigged make shift to work. Well now the heating could have gone and it’s past there so called 90 day warranty period. I called and they said they couldn’t do anything except send someone out and it would cost for estimate and then parts and labor. Lmfao. Are you kidding me?!! You almost burned my house down and tried to say it was ok with the first dryer. You even cleaned the lint collector and it was so packed from years of use that you would think this would be the first thing you check and clean before sending it out for use. Now I have an entire wardrobe burned and no clothes and the ones I have left can’t be dried. now the second one isn’t working. Dead and now sitting useless. If I could zero star I would.

I also would like to share pur experience with this company. We purchased a refrigerator and had it delivered to our home only to find out it would not fit through the door. It would have fit if the delivery men were willing to remove the doors, but we were told it was too much of a hassle. I offered to purchase a smaller unit but the owner said I would have to pay a 35% restocking fee in addition to buying the smaller unit!. Wow....talk about customer service!

I would like to share my experience so no one has such an unfortunate event happen to them. My parents purchased a refurbished refrigerator from this location and not only did it flood and cause major ($10,000 in repairs to the floor and sheetrock which my parents had to go through their insurance because Action Appliance said it was not their fault even though they put the refrigitor in and installed it??) Needless to say, 3 repairman later and having to get new hardwood floors, it is no longer cooling either the refrigerator or the freezer. What is so disheartening about this is that my parents are really good, honest people and have tried to work with Action Appliance multiple times to make this right. After being here with them and seeing the situation first hand, I am writing this review on their behalf as I would hate to have this happen to another family. Trust me, your money will be better spent by going somewhere else.

I have purchased other appliances from this company including a $2000 stove this year. Arrived April 2018 purchased in February. Two knobs to turn on burner are broken off! Ovens will not hold the correct temperature. 350 need to set at 395 for 350. Clean option gives error messages. Light bulbs burnt out in both ovens. Replaced but burnout again. I call for help. Hi may I speak to the repair department. They are out in the field! What do you want! Really? Im calling because I have a stove failure I would like to talk about. Im in the dark he says! Of course you are you havent even asked my name. Fine I will just come in I said. IM THE OWNER GOOD CLICK! Really you just meet your worse nightmare! I will make sure everyone knows not to do business with your company.

I just had a gentleman come to my renters house to look at a fridge that is not even two years old. It was bought brand-new at Lowes. He basically told me my fridge was cheap and that is why it didnt work. His words were this fridge is on the lower end I dont want to say cheap but. I have never made a review for any company but felt that was rude. I am a general contractor, that would be like me telling someone while you bought your tile at a dollar a square foot instead of the 3.25 ft.² for tile you could have bought. Thats why it isnt laying right. He could have been a little more professional about it. Either way no repairs were done so I have no opinion on that aspect of this company.

Prices competitive, service tech competent, but misrepresented service costs. Was told old machine would be removed and new one installed for $55. I removed the old, the delivery people had no clue how to install the new so I did it myself. Still charged $55, for delivery, which was something I was not told. Would not do business with them again.9/28/18 update: House plumbing was in place and was there for the old ice maker, both the water supply line and the drain. I had already removed the drain line and it was ready for the new unit.

Big ATTITUDE from female works on phones. I called to bring my wall unit AC in for a freon charge. They replied, they dont recharge AC. I then asked about refrigerators? They said, yes.. I use to work in REFRIGERATION- AC, there is very little difference. My AC wall unit is considered an appliance. They advertise, SALES PARTS AND SERVICE... I had $100 cash for a charge of about 5oz of freon.They told me its against the law, no not.. EPA card can work on all appliance refrigerants.CONCLUSION: They are clueless about refrigeration cycle, refrigerant charging, EPA card, and FL statutes.1/13/20 RESPONSE UPDATE:Im a retired AC tech and could repair it myself but its not cost effective for me to purchase 30lbs of R22 for an AC that only needs 5oz. You advertise sales / parts / service? I contacted you for service. You told me you add gas to refrigerators but its illegal for you to add gas to AC units.. Thats a lie. Its not illegal.. EPA card covers AC and refrigerators. You dont even know EPA rules & regs or basic refrigeration cycle 101. Bahahaha haha.... Folks go see ALL APPLIANCE PARTS for service - they are just south of Gatorz.

I am sick that I have to give them any stars at all. When we purchased our home in 2015 we bought all kitchen appliances and a bed. The dishwasher does not clean at all. When service guys came out they instructed me to clean dishes before going into dishwasher. Should have been a red flag. Our mattress has a sinkhole. The refrigerator has quit cooling. When calling Amana they informed us that our refrigerator is not 2 yrs old. It was 5 years old. Which means that they sold us a 3 year old fridge to us as new. All the appliances need to be replaced and they were nice helpful until we had difficulty with any of them. Bad business. Do not buy from them!!

Over the years, I have bought 2 washers, a dryer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, and a refrigerator. The refrigerator has been an absolute nightmare. After less than two years, I have had to call for repairs on it three times now. Two for the same problem. The first time the technician cam out and fixed something that was installed wrong at the factory a couple of months after I bought it. The refrigerator was not cooling and I lost a whole load of groceries. I was charged full charge for this. All the tech did was move a sensor a couple of centimeters. Less than a year later, same problem. This time, over $300 for parts and labor. Now its not making ice nor dispensing water or ice. I called and complained and was told to take my business elsewhere.I absolutely will. And I will never be back.I have no idea why my name was not associated with this review, instead of a google user, but my name is Jeff Lund.

I bought a brand new dishwasher (all together cost 600 dollars) from this place and I will never buy from there again. I had my dishwasher for a year and it is broken already. Of course there is no warranty and they offered a service to fix it at a price. Not satisfied at all. I recommend to go somewhere that your product will last more then a year especially brand new!! Very unsatisfied customer. I never make reviews about any companies but I am a single mom with little money and cannot afford to fix this dishwasher that was a lot of money to put out for the dishwasher.

Found a dryer belt and pulley system on their website. Tried calling the store first time, said they couldn’t do anything without a model number (even though we gave the year, the brand, and the series of the dryer)...so hung up, looked up the model number for the exact part on their website and called back a second time. Before I could finish reading the model number, he cuts me off and says “that’s not a model number” and tells me if I’m looking for a car fan belt it needs to be this. So I explain I’m not looking for a car fan belt, but a Kenmore 80s series dryer belt that is listed on their website and I had the exact product number for. He explains he’s using an analogy and he can’t help without a model number. Funny how this is literally an appliance repair store yet they can’t do anything without me finding every ounce of research when all I wanted to know is they had one small part in store that is listed on their websit to save myself the drive. I finally told the guy we would look elsewhere.

BUYERS BEWARE ...One star is too much ... they were not honest with us and screwed us over so bad ... they sold us a used refrigerator after they told us our year old refrigerator could not be repaired .. that was probably a lie ...We paid them to take it and they sold us a GE monogram saying it was in like new condition and was the best and would last many years ... a few weeks later we called them because it would not keep temperature and everything was spoiled their service man came and said it was best it could get after 10 minuites of playing with the settings he said to keep things away from the vents .. it was 44 degrees nothing was near vents ...we told him that our milk keeps spoiling long before date ... he again said its factory set and cant get colder ... 44 is not factory setting ... We had to call another repair company and they had to put a new condenser and thermostat in it and clean the coils .We have only had it less then 2 years and had to spend a bunch of money to repair things that should not have been sold to us like that in the first place ... it never ran right now again I had to pay a repair man to come tell me it will be hundreds more to fix .. he also told us and showed us that the plug was sold to us in disrepair cut and spliced with a different cord that was never grounded properly and was not even safe .. so now I am writting a review and contacting the BBB because that is just RIDICULOUS ... their refrigerator never ran right and they never cared after they took our year old refrigerator and 700 dollars 😖

This business is horrible!!! I had a terrible experience with them, they will take your money for a diagnostic and not diagnose the issue. They are rip off artist and very rude. This was the worst business experience I’ve ever had!!!! Do not deal with them they are terrible.Do not do business with them, We’re going to the better business bureau next. STAY AWAY.We purchased many items for our winter home one being a refrigeration which kept breaking even though their repair man said he fixed it on two separate occasions. It was never repaired correctly and unfortunately because this is a winter home for us we were away and they are not honoring the warrantee for their work.Their repair man is an amateur who said he fixed it the first time and we had to call him back again the next day.Please stay away.

We called them 3 days before to set an appointment. They told my girlfriend they would call us and to verify the time they would be out. She talk to a lady that was very nice we explained that we needed an AM appointment she replied back that they would call back around 9 or 10 AM to let us know that someone was on their way. Well not so true some rude azz person named Zach called her and told her (my girlfriend) that they will be out around 12-5pm. So I called them Zach answer the phone I went over the details with him and he stated well your girlfriend, wife whatever she is wrong they dont set appointments like that. He is very rude and not professional at all. I will not be using their services at all. I found someone else.

We had an excellent experience with Action. We bought a used refrigerator which included a 90-day warranty. They delivered it within one hour (which was great since ours quit that morning) and hauled our old one away. Our salesman was Zac and he was patient and helpful. Now, I must tell you the icemaker didnt work. I was a little worried, but we called and they sent a service guy out within a few days. He replaced the entire icemaker within 15 minutes and now everything is in tip-top shape. This is our second appliance from Action and we wouldnt hesitate to buy another. They stand behind their warranty on used appliances so it takes the worry out of buying used.
