Excellent firearms store. Have lived in Charlotte County for close to 20 years, and regret not visiting them sooner. The owners, a husband and wife couple are nice, kind, and literally answer any question you have. Purchased a firearm, and walked me through everything on the gun. Then, post purchase, they installed a laser on it, and would not complete the sale unless the laser was on perfect, even adjusting the laser site to be within inches, top-notch customer service. We will go back in there for any future firearms needs, as well as anything else in tactical. My only regret is that they dont advertise more, and that there business is off a side street, so you may pass by them, however, it is a nice area where the business is located. Again, 5 stars to this business, and easily, out of all the gun/tactical stores in town, friendliest business, and most professional I have visited.

Stopped in the store during the week to look at some handguns. Meet a very nice young lady who showed me some inventory. Returned on Saturday to purchase and the first gun was sold and the young lady must have been off. The second gun was still in the case, No big deal a second lady who told me the gun was sold showed me another gun I was not a fan of. I could have looked at other models. Seemed as though at that point when the 1st gun was sold they lost interest in me. I didnt even get to take another look at the second gun. The gentleman was completely ingulfed in a college football game and stood with his back to me even after the lady who was helping me started to help another customer. At that point as I looked through other displays wanting to be given some suggestions and look at the second gun, I made the decision I had to either start watching the game with him to get his attention or find another store. I went across the street to J and J and bought a 9mm and a 45. They spent 30 minutes with me and we closed the $2300 deal. Today heading to Total Impact because the young women at J and J made a phone call to them to help find me the 3rd handgun I wanted. She new I only wanted a particular gun and when she didnt have it and couldnt get it she still helped me. Thats service

I figured I’d give this place a try because I was near by and in any gun store I walk into, the employees always say hi, I walked in and just got stared at. I also come to find that there ammo was over priced unlike other competitors. The employees looked so depressed and just dead inside. The only thing there that was worth the trip was the dog. I will gladly drive 30 miles for some quality service and Standard prices.

Despite the fact that they didnt have the exact gun I was looking for (I didnt expect them to, and they can order it easy enough), this is a well priced store with a great selection guns. Walked in. Gentleman was looking at Ar-15. He gave it back, clerk placed it on the wall. I said Ill buy it right now. They waited for the other gentleman to make up his mind. I was under the impression you sell it to the person who says Ill buy not Im thinking about it.In any case, you lost about $6K in sales for your decision on a $750 rifle. I expected more from you.

I had 3 long guns of mine shipped here from upstate NY. When the time came as to when they should arrive, I called and was told they were not there. I then culled twice more the following week and again was told they were not there. I then called the gun dealer in NY who gave me the tracking info and date he sent them out. I called again with this info and then they informed me that they had been there for a week. Whats with that? These guns are valued at around 5 k and I was really worried they were lost.Updated. I received a call from the owner about a week after this post. She said she was sorry and talked to her employees. She also invited me to come in for some free ammo which I did. I thought it was very nice that she tried to make this right and I would now recommend this store.

This is a great gun store to shop in. Ive bought 2 guns here in the last 3 months and have nothing but high praise for all that work there. Jay, who had no problem taking almost an hour or more showing me different guns that I might like and going back and fourth until I finally made a decision was awesome. And, if that was not enough, he even agreed to meet me at a local gun range to try out my new purchase!!! I dont know of any store (gun or whatever) where you will get that friendly of staff.These people are top notch!!!Ill be going in soon to make another purchase!!

I also will mention you guys run a very understanding shop there and I will not do business with anyone else in the area. In fact I have a long awaited transfer from Front Sight Nevada and I will try to get them to ship to you now, I trust your operation far more than where I was doing business. You have really improved things over the last owners and IMHO are the best shop for a hundred miles, because you beat out BassPro too, and those guys are nice, just too darn big and impersonal.

The staff at Army-Navy Gun & Boot are so far superior to the other gun shops around this area that there’s no comparison. If you want no-nonsense, no hard-sell service, with folks who know their products and can help you pick the right firearm for your needs, then I’d recommend you go to Army-Navy. They fitted me with the right gun and at a good price. My experience is that the bigger the store, the smaller the service and knowledge of the staff. And conversely, Army-Navy is a smaller store, but bigger in the service you get and the knowledge of their staff. I’ll go back there for my next gun or ammo.

Wow. I dont understand the review below. If I buy a stolen gun through Gunbroker, and have it delivered to this shop to pick up, why is that the shops problem? Dealers just get a very modest fee for handling these deliveries. They dont have anything to do with the seller.Personally Ive been in the shop twice with issues involving guns I already own and they helped me both times, NO CHARGE. Once they even referred me to a competitor! Based on my experience you cant find a better business to deal with, and if I buy another gun I plan to buy it there.

Ive been doing buissness with this shop for a few years now. They have a good selection and are friendly people. Prices seem to be right on if not a bit lower than others in the area. I would shop here before A&H and Sport trap nearby anyday.

Went in looking for a new carry pistol. Black man behind the counter was arrogant and rude acted like I was wasting his time! Not to mention there were about $75 more than other local gun shops!

BUYER BEWARE! They sold me a stolen gun! 4 1/2 mths ago I bought a gun from them through Gunbroker. I was contacted this week by a Det. Sadler with Port Charlotte police Dept advising me the gun had been reported stolen and I needed to return it to the police. I called and talked to the owner Ann and asked about getting my money back, she said no. I said if you are any kind of a stand up person we would split the loss, she said no. These people not only wouldnt refund any money, they profited from the sale. I would not do business with this company!

They promptly answer the phone, I happened to ask about nylon belts and was promptly given a rundown on what they had, prices and personal opinion on what to buy and Im extremely satisfied with the customer service.
