From start to finish (yes, we got the dress) our experience was just like you see on TV and in the movies. Elizabeth is an outstanding bridal consultant and owner. Went looking for a flower girl dress. The salesgirl on duty saw us. We walked around the store. Not once did she even acknowledge that we were there. She was too busy taking a pic with some young girls to even acknowledge our prescience. Not even a hello ladies I will be right with you. Very poor customer service. We left. We will not be back. I know she was busy but to not say hello to prospective customers is very poor business.

Elizabeth is top notch! Her bridal store is gorgeous and her gowns are beautiful and well priced. She is always adding more variety and designers to her inventory as well and stays on top of current trends. She creates an entire private and personalized experience for each bride that walks through her doors. She is knowledgable and truly cares about her brides. I’m in tears as I write this because I had such a amazing experience on so many levels. If I could do more then 5 stars I absolutely would. She was absolutely hands down the sweetest kindest most compassionate person I’ve ever met. Not to mention she makes you feel so unbelievably comfortable. I am a recent below the knee amputee on my left leg and I’m getting married Wednesday the 21st. I’ve been with my spouse 5 years and we are just doing a little ceremony until we can do a actual wedding up north with all my friends and family. I had such anxiety/ self conscious feelings going into dress shopping especially with not having my leg yet. I had so many people tell me that I should just get a sun dress or something simple from a everyday store but I really wanted to experience feeling like a bride. I felt going into a dress shop I was going to be judged or given a hard time because I’m in a wheelchair/crutches. I felt that even if they didn’t mean to they somehow would make me feel like a burden and or uncomfortable. She made me feel none of that for the first time since my amputation I felt like a regular person. She didn’t treat me or look at me any different for once I didn’t feel I was a freak show to stare at or stared at with pity. She made me feel so comfortable and picked perfect dresses for me to try on that really complimented me and my body. I wish I could do all my clothes shopping with her because I had the best experience I’ve ever had in my 30 years. She made me feel so normal and beautiful I truly can’t thank her enough she really has no idea how much today meant to me. I will hands down always refer her thank you so much for such a amazing experience don’t ever stop doing what your doing your absolutely amazing at it.

I tried a few other locations before Benedict, I seriously didnt know why this was such a big deal for brides. I personally felt uncomfortable and fat and generally unflattering at other locations. I walked into Benedict and had a different feeling! As I walked in the message board said Welcome Katie, the whole place was designated to making this a special experience. Elizabeth made me so comfortable. She could read me better than I could read myself. She picked up on my taste and would make suggestions. 10/10! Amazing store!

Elizabeth makes sure you love the gown you purchase she doesn’t just force styles that aren’t you on you! She spends a great amount of time with each and every one of her brides at every appointment. This was an amazing bridal dress shopping experience. So many personal touches and personal attention! It’s hard to believe that there is such a nice bridal shop in Charlotte County! We expected to have to go to Sarasota or Tampa. And the prices were very fair...$1000-2400. Thank you, Elizabeth!

I had the most positive and stress-free experience at Benedict Bridal! The salon is very private as they only have one bride in at a time, designed beautifully, and very large and roomy, which lends to the relaxing atmosphere. Elizabeth never made me feel pressured to purchase a gown through them, unlike my other experiences at every other bridal salon I’ve been to. She’s very knowledgeable about her gowns and truly just wants to give every bride an amazing experience. My only regret is not coming here first :).
