Went today hoping to find a great butcher in the area. 34.99 a lb for tasteless filet mignon? Really? Will never go back. Disappointed, as thought we found a gem in the neighborhood.

Great customer service came here after kallis German butcher shop. They don’t have women bum rushing you out of the store instead of making sales. The meat pies were very good I had a bobotie and steak mushroom. I haven’t tried the bacon yet but got meat for a pot roast. High quality meat I’ll definitely return in the future.

Very good meats...would never go and buy somewhere else.....can and jar products from different countries to enjoy. english mashed peas unreal

This is a nice little butcher shop. Homemade sausage, fresh chicken, pork, beef, lamb. They sell some nice cuts of beef. This is the first place that I have found that sells Tri-Tip!! If you havent had Tri-Tip, then you should get in here and get some! Delicious on the grill! WOW!!! They have homemade meat pies, pre-frozen. Get in here and support this place. You wont regret it!

We came all the way from Fort Myers and it was worth it! The team at the store was very nice and answered all my questions. I was craving Biltong and Droewoers and left with a decent sized stash. Ill definitely be back!

This place is terrific. They have good quality meat, all kinds of cuts at very affordable prices. They also sell frozen bones for dogs which I always get. I highly recommend this place.

Great products.Filet Beef Tips is probably the best value. But chops, steaks, grind, etc is all worth it.Made some amazing short ribs. Only problem was they were too big for my instant pot. Next time I’ll ask for them to be cut in half.

Great spot to buy meat and South African food

Good people and good meat.

Fantastic beef, sausages. Pot pies, stuffed potatoes, pork chops...oh even the chicken. But most importantly, you dont have to add a boat load of seasoning to make the meat taste good. It tastes great on its own. The hamburgers are outstanding grilled. There is so much to choose from in such a tiny shop, prices are comparable or even better than local supermarkets. Quality is far superior!

Gone there a couple of times in the last couple years they have great stuff. You wont go wrong buying the meat here also the store has lots of seasonings, give them a try youll love it

The service is always kind, helpful, and efficient and they have the BEST meat! Their selection of other products is also top notch!

I come here sometimes to get their meat package deals the meats here are better than a normal grocery store like piblix etc and the prices actually turned out to be cheaper than a regular grocer as well the customer service here is always good the butcher and other people that work here are all friendly I woukd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good butcher shop in the area

Awesome selection of whole cuts of meats, as well as some more prepared ones i.e. sausages, bacon, etc. Staff is super friendly and they help you find exactly what you need.They also have a selection of spices and snacks as well as some beers to go with their beautiful cuts of meat.

Awesome mom and pop butcher shop. Huge selection of meats from chicken patties to sausages, alligator, frog legs, all steak and pork cuts, unbelievable coleslaw and they are even selling fish now. Now matter what if you go in you must try the Filet at this place, top shelf all the way. You can cut that sucker with a butter knife. They also sale unique BBQ sauces and seasonings that are worth a shot. I buy one or two every time we go and have found some real winners!

Awesome shop/butchery and well worth the 45 minute drive from Cape Coral. Many of the favorite South African products available and the boerewors (Sausage) is top quality and tastes like home.

Called in the am to place a order of a couple different meat packages they offer, they called me when it was ready..cant ask for more then that..Meat is very good

UPDATE: No longer shop here! Staff does not practice good sanitation -- handle money and then immediately handle raw meat. Told us this was acceptable since local and State of Florida health agencies dont require hand washing after handling money and before handling raw beef/chicken. REALLY?

Great selection of fresh and frozen quality meats. Picked up some wings and brats for a weekend tailgate party .... 10 wings = 3+ pounds !!!

Nice people, went into to get some odd ball items for myself and some bones for the dog and they were extremely helpful..Told me they could get anything I needed if I gave them a heads up.. Excellent service, good quality, even better value...

There IS one of those on this list ( a 1 star complaint about hours and days of operation) I’d love to review this place 10 more times to bring up their average to where it should be; 5 STARS. This place is WONDERFUL. FINALLY, food that doesn’t give me heartburn. Great, great, great sausages. I do peel of the casing first. Incredible cole slaw. Why have I been buying Publix cole slaw all these years? It’s junk compared to this. A true epiphany. They even make REAL dog food. We’re talking hearts and liver and a bunch of other Real stuff at an el cheapo price. My dog almost ran me over trying to get to this dog food ! Their steak and kidney pot pie was TO DIE FOR. Very fair prices. Publix meat is not as good and much more expensive. And OVER THE TOP INCREDIBLE SERVICE ! And so much cheaper than Publix !!!

I highly recommend Beef Country to everyone, their customer service is absolutely fantastic and if you email them with any questions, they get back to you fast and go out of their way to help. They are the only company i will be ordering my South African products from in future.

I found the customer service to be lacking. They were very impolite about the person that I was pickig up the order for, talking about them as if I wasnt there. Very disappointing.
