Southern Cross just finished installing accordion shutters on 3 windows, and around my lanai. It looks fantastic. This is the second time Ive used Southern Cross, the first time they installed shutters on the front of my house about a year ago; and I love what they did then too. I was pleased with thier work from beginning to end. I feel like I got great value for the cost. Everyone I met or talked to from the company were extremely nice and informative. When they were done they throughly cleaned up. I highly recommend these folks, you wont be disappointed.

The reason for 2 stars is that the install guys did it right otherwise it would be 1. I was awaiting for final inspection before final payment. I received a letter saying they were going to put a lean on my house. I was furious. I had already mailed the final payment before the inspection. When I called the woman who was extremely rude she told me they needed payment that day. I told her I would drive there with a check if they would deduct $35 for stop payment. She refused... told me she was putting a lean on my house and hung up. I drove up there to confront the owner... the womans husband... who apologized. Months later I was having an issue. I called an left 3 messages with no reply. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY! They are NOT worth the trouble!

From the start of the sales process until they finished the installation today, I could not be happier.Matt was my sales guy and was great the whole time. He advised me on the best options for each opening. He gave me a timeline on installation and it was dead on. Bob came out and did the measurements and verified the colors in a timely manner after I signed the contract.The installation was awesome. They did a great job on all openings and were extremely clean. They did not leave any mess whatsoever and were very polite and good people. The vacuumed up any mess in the lanai and it was cleaner than when they started and also wiped everything clean after installation. The installation crew were the type of men that you would want to hang out with and have a few beers. This is a quality company that hires good people.I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for shutters.

After dealing with many storm shutter vendors over the past 2 years to install some protection on my lanai it was a joy to find Southern Cross. Fantastic experience from the time the owner came out to quote the job and offer me different options that other less qualified vendors did, to the Install Crew who were prompt, efficient, clean and explained everything in detail. This company is established and family owned and operated and is head and shoulders above the many fly by night companies operating in the state.

After hiring this company in August 2018 we are finally at completion as of December 17, 2018 after reviewing invoices for final payment due to nothing but issues with this company I read a over charge of $250 for permit that only cost $49.30. Buyer beware with this company. Nothing but excuses and lies! The owners Brant and January use their office help as escape goats to take the complaints. They refused to speak to me regarding overage.
