Worst experience and trying to get a key made thats programmable ever. The first key they get doesnt work so I Resort back to a case I ordered the case and they dont even know how to transfer over the case for the key do not go here for keys

Terry waited on me, he was so helpful! He went above and beyond his duties. I had a problem with the only key I own for my car, not being able to drive because the casing broke and wS in pieces. He fixed it! With a new battery, super glue and tape, now my key is working--including the door opener and lock, which didnt work before even with new battery. Thank You Terry. Now I will go back and purchase a second key.

Portable propane fill expensive!!!!Even with rewards card it was $20(-1 cent!) each. One tank only took 2.5gal, but they said too bad as it was more than half.Propane should be sold by the gallon.

I try and purchase things without going to the big box stores and have been going to Ace Hardware on Kings Hwy since 2002 but since Harold sold the store it has gone down hill,I was there today to purchase a couple of valves for the laundry tub and asked the cashier as I went in for help and she announced it over the intercom but NOBODY showed up but one lady was on the phone and said she was doing her best so after 15 minutes I left and went to Lowes and got what I needed.

I arrived about 6pm, I am sure it was a couple of minutes before, to purchase a tool. There were still people in the store and the door was open. But after two steps inside the door an employee angrily and unapologetically told me We are closed, you will have to leave!. I thought he was going to physically push me out the door as he approached me. I should have looked at the store hours before entering I guess... so I apologise for trying to give you my business. I will spend my money elsewhere. Not the helpful hardware store that typically flies the Ace banner. And, not consistent with other reviews for this business. What happened to the courteous friendly service?? A more appropriate response would have been I am so sorry sir but we are closing. Could we invite you to come back tomorrow?

I love this hardware store! Its much smaller than other local hardware stores, and has a friendlier feel. Think, mom & pop hardware, its more like that. In this regard, they do have a smaller selection than other larger stores. However, theyre perfect for quick items, nuts, bolts, screws, paint, etc. The prices are on par with other stores, and maybe just slightly higher. A few cents extra for a no-hassle, quick trip is fine with me! The staff is always friendly, and they offer a rewards card that frequently offers coupons and discounts.

My husband LOVES ACE Hardware, Kings Highway! All sales personnel are helpful and most importantly PATIENT! We are so lucky to have a well-stocked hardware in our neighborhood with knowledgeable associates! Thanks ACE for always lending a helping hand!

Staff is friendly and usually always help you out. Unless youre going to get anything done with your auto key or key fob for your car alarm. Over the course of three months and five separate visits. I leave here again, without my key fob programmed. Every other aspect of this place is excellent. The key section not so much. Dont matter how friendly or helpful you are. If you cant complete a part of business that youre open for then whats the point. Ill still come here for everything else, the staff is always friendly and willing to help, which makes shopping a lot easier. But if you want to program your car alarm clicker, find another place.

This Ace Hardware makes shopping a breeze from getting a few things you need to all staff and even the manager willing to help you problem solve a situation. They have been so helpful to me in explaining how to do things from electrical to plumbing, painting, pest control, weed control, and always cheerful and happy in helping. This is the true meaning of customer service. Something that is rare to find in the big box stores, where often there isnt an employee to help and usually none that are knowledgeable or can problem solve a situation with you. If I could rate this Ace Hardware 10 Stars, I would. People have said their prices are higher, but I have not found that to be true. Plus if you follow their sale flyers, you can get some great deals on things you need. The other big plus, is that they are close by in the neighborhood, so you dont have to drive across town to find what you need, saving more time when youre in the middle of a project. Even every cashier is friendly and greets you when you enter the store. Customer Service like it used to be in the 60s in small town America!!

The hardware store is great. The paint ACE sells isnt. The hardware store offers great service and most any kind of odds or ends you could need to do a project, except paint. I purchased the best quality interior paint they offered. Asked for the best quality not least priced. The paint, a dark color, took multiple coats to cover. Im on three now and just hope there is enough to get it done and rubs off with no effort. Would recommend the store just would not recommend buying the Valspar paint.
